Pillar of Yita

That was the distinct temperament of an Aquen Elf.

Princess Briana looked up, smiling at the two hiding upstairs, ”How long do you two little ones plan to hide? Even the treetops have heard your whispers. Shall I give you a bit more time?”

”No, there’s nothing else to say,” Hilveld stood up with a smile, unabashedly patting her skirt, ”What’s the matter, Your Highness? Can’t deal with Sir Roban yourself, yet you restrict others?”

Princess Briana glanced at her, ”So annoying. Everyone in your family is like this, incapable of speaking properly, which is why you stir up trouble everywhere.”

”There’s not much I can do, sister Briana,” Hilveld couldn’t help but laugh, ”But I’m proud of this lineage.”

”Come down, young lady.” Princess Briana also laughed, sheathing her silver longbow and stretching out her hand, ”The enemies outside have been cleaned up, and quite impressively. There were several notable figures among them.”

She examined Fang Hong closely, ”They were core members of the Dragon Worship Sect. Hilveld told me you dealt with these people, I could hardly believe it—Roban at your age wasn’t nearly as formidable.”

Fang Hong looked at Princess Briana in astonishment, knowing the Elf Royal Guard had arrived, but he hadn’t expected Princess Briana to be here in person.

She was the first daughter of the Elf King of Aquen, the hero of the Battle of Bain.

He felt quite honored for a moment, ”Princess Briana, what brings you here?”

”I just had Hilveld help me with some tasks, so I came to check in. Besides, it’s been over seven days. My sailors and captain couldn’t wait for you,” Princess Briana blinked and said with a smile, ”I was afraid you had spirited away that little girl, so I hurried over to see what was happening.”

Fang Hong’s face turned red as he exclaimed, ”Has it been seven days already?”

”We were in the Phantom Realm for two days and nights, Captain,” Hilveld whispered to him, ”I forgot to tell you earlier, Her Highness’s fleet had arrived on the afternoon of the sixth day, and they’ve been waiting there for us. Since we didn’t show up, they went to report to Her Highness—”

”I’m sorry, I... ” Fang Hong hadn’t realized he had missed the appointment and felt very guilty for having the princess check what had gone wrong.

”It’s nothing,” Princess Briana shook her head, ”Hilveld told me everything. You dealt with a significant issue. The power of Nikopolas has always been lurking out of our sight, no one wants to relive what happened a hundred years ago. I didn’t expect it to be perfectly resolved by you—”

”Do you know, Ade, the Artisan Association is planning to reward you heavily,” Princess Briana playfully winked at him, ”Not the Elpaxin Artisan Association, but the Colin-Ishurian Alchemists’ Guild. It’s an honor equal to this achievement.”

Although Fang Hong didn’t believe he had perfectly resolved the issue with Nikopolas, he was still shocked by her words, ”The Guild knows too?”

”Don’t you know?” Princess Briana asked, ”After such a big incident in Dolifen, how could the kingdom completely ignore it? There’s always been someone monitoring here, it’s just that some ’minor issues’ in Elpaxin let the Dragon Worshippers capitalize on it.”

Upon hearing about Elpaxin’s ’minor issues,’ Fang Hong couldn’t help but feel a chill. No one else knew, but Princess Briana was all too aware of what these ’minor issues’ were.

She indeed smiled mysteriously at Fang Hong, ”Don’t worry about it, it wasn’t your fault. Besides, Mr. Diket has also praised you highly.”

”Mr. Diket?” Fang Hong was startled, then realized, ”Is he, is he the monitor from Elpaxin in Dolifen?”

”What else did you think?” Princess Briana retorted, ”No one is more qualified or willing to guard this place than Mr. Diket. Guess what he thinks of you, Ade?”

Fang Hong was still clueless; he looked at the Elf Princess and shook his head.

”He said,”

”You might become the future Great Alchemist of Colin-Ishurian.”

”Ah?”
