Pillar of Yita

For instance, the Osh Empire’s three flagship warships, the oldest of which had been passed down for over two hundred years, had witnessed seven generations of Dragon Knights. Similarly, Colin Ishurian had similar warships, and even several Grand Guilds possessed more than one such ”Dragon Knight.”

The reason was simple: they were useful.

When it came to individual combat, the strength of a Floating Ship type Dragon Knight ranked towards the bottom among Dragon Knights, but in group combat, it often played a pivotal role.

And the design plans for this particular Dragon Core were even more extraordinary.

Even Fang Hong couldn’t help but look up and gaze toward Hilveld in the distance.

The noble girl seemed to have been expecting his gaze and calmly replied, ”You are not mistaken, Mr. Ade. This design is indeed for a Fairy Type Dragon Knight equipped Floating Ship—”

Her eyelashes gently lifted as she looked at him with a somewhat playful expression. ”And though the Fairy Type Dragon Knight is no secret, it’s at least a set of abandoned plans unknown to the public. It’s impressive that you have heard of such a type among the countless outdated documents in Eteliria, Mr. Ade.”

It was then that Fang Hong realized that his thought had already been seen through by her, making him feel somewhat embarrassed.

Hilveld gave him a subtly mischievous look. ”And this design might be the only existing one in the world for Fairy Dragon Knights, how about it, Mr. Ade, do you want to join in?”

Do you want to join?

For a moment, Fang Hong truly didn’t know how to respond.

He first of course had to confirm the truthfulness of her words, and asked in his mind: ”Miss Tata, is what she said true?”

After a moment, Tata’s calm voice came from within Fang Hong’s mind.

”In Colin Ishurian, besides the Silver Tower, only the Rose Workshop has the capability to work with the Fairy Construct. If the plans haven’t changed since I left the Silver Tower, her design might indeed be the only Fairy Type Dragon Knight Construct’s design.”

”However, it’s odd because as far as I know, the Rose Workshop is far behind us in the progress of Fairy Type Dragon Knights; they are more proficient in designing Constructs than in Dragon Souls, and generally, the design and construction of Knight Constructs should be the final phase of the Dragon Knight System.”

”In Colin Ishurian, this is specifically the case, but in Osh, both Giant Tree Hill and Rotao have their unique Fairy traditions; there might be plans for Fairy Type Dragon Knights in those places too. However, this is beyond what I know; I can only offer Mr. Knight a possibility judgment.”

But this possibility seemed too faint, Fang Hong thought to himself.

”Alright,” he finally nodded, ”Whether it’s Knight Constructs or Floating Ships, I truly have no clue about them, nor can I guarantee when your dream will be realized—”

Hilveld smiled slightly, gracefully extending her hand toward him. ”As I said, I don’t mind, Mr. Ade, let’s have a pleasant cooperation.”

Her slim palm was as white as porcelain, her fingertips long and slightly blushing in the sunlight. Fang Hong hesitated before shaking it, feeling a cool and delicate touch as if touching melted snow, mixed with the floating scent of a young girl.

The wind brushed through the treetops with a rustle, somewhat silently.

And for a moment, Fang Hong also didn’t know what to say next. It was Hilveld who casually brushed her hair aside and asked nonchalantly, ”So, Mr. Ade, are you heading to Golande next?”

Fang Hong was slightly startled. ”How did you know?”

Hilveld smiled. ”I naturally asked Miss Atira.”

”Ah—”, Fang Hong realized he had asked a silly question and nodded. ”I do plan on that, but there are some other matters I need to handle first... But why did you suddenly ask about it, Miss Hilveld?”

”Since we are starting to collaborate, we naturally need a long-term plan, don’t we?” Hilveld tilted her head slightly, looking at him playfully. ”As Mr. Ade said, shipbuilding is a lengthy process, and besides personal improvement, we also need to do some preparatory work—”

”Preparatory work?”

”For instance, resources and manpower, as well as the shipbuilding plans. I have other plans for the resources, but for the other two points, I do have some ideas.”

”Ideas?”

”What I mean is, it’s hardly feasible to start crafting a real Floating Ship right away, but we can start by repairing and completing a half-finished product. Actually, the Rose Workshop possesses an incomplete ’Gardelrian Fairy Type’ Dragon Core, and if we could get it, things would be much easier.”

”Wait, get it?” Fang Hong was taken aback, ”Isn’t that something your father left for you?”

”Of course not,” Hilveld replied, ”You know the relationship between nobles and their families. I am not the only heir.”

Fang Hong suddenly felt as if he had boarded a pirate ship. ”Miss Hilveld, where is that ’half-finished product’?”

”You don’t need to worry about that, Mr. Ade,” Hilveld mischievously tilted her head and winked at him: ”Trust me, I’ll arrange everything.”

”But—”

”No buts,” the girl smiled slightly: ”Mr. Ade, let’s get back to the main topic, shall we?”

Feeling reassured would have been odd.

It had only been a few minutes, and Fang Hong was already beginning to doubt whether he had made yet another mistake, feeling a bit apprehensive as he asked, ”The main topic?”
