COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

Hachiman felt like he just dodged a bullet.

“Look, if the prisoner is really a boy from our class, there will be no underwear to be found!”

“Eto.... Hikigaya-kun please explain?”

Now, Sato was confused, when he revealed this exclusive news to girls.

’Why don’t you find the underwear, after looking inside the boy’s stuff?’

“Because if perverts were really in our class, they wouldn’t be so stupid, right?”

“ ? ” Sato felt like Hikigaya-kun just insulted her.

Only, the boy didn’t care about her red veins popping out, he just continued to fool these people, explained using hand gestures.

Hachiman was pretty serious right now, “After all, if a girl loses anything, she will definitely ask to search the boy’s luggage the next day. Whether it is hidden in a backpack or a tent,  not safe....”

“...it seems to be the case...”

These words made the girls look at each other with hesitation.

“Could it be on your body?” Shinohara’s eyebrows got twitched, but dared to ask the question, with a random expression of disgust.

It’s okay to steal a girl’s cloth, but still carry it with you.

Very disgusting.

“Also a possibility.”

Hachiman rapidly nodded his head, and then stared at Shinohara’s eyes, opening his mouth, with a blank face, “But if he is really a pervert, then just carrying Karuizawa’s underwear on, will not satisfy him. The most likely possibility is to directly wear it on his bod-”

“Wear, wear it on your body?!” Even  Sakura, the girl that has always maintained a very small, transparent presence, is active today.

Because, this statement was just beyond her cognition.

“He should die……”

“Hikigaya-kun, please stop talking!”

Even, Suzune now showed a cold expression.

Girls inside felt they might have underestimated what a real pervert could actually do?

I have no bottom line.

Now, reflected on their understanding of abnormal perverted kinks.

For example, you steal underwear then wear it on your body.

Or even put it directly on your head.

“This possibility cannot be ruled out.”

“Muaahhhh!” Karuizawa felt like smashing her own head, to being clumsy about not keeping her items a bit more secure.

“It’s okay, Kei-chan... I’ll help you burn your...hehe..so embarrassing...”

“But I think it is more likely that other party will throw away the cloth after using it....”

“After all, the risk of being discovered is too high!”

Listening to Hikigaya-kun’s scornful words, the girls faces paled even more.

Because what he said makes sense.

Even the suggestion that Shinohara had just spoken about a body search was rendered useless.

Since, X would do such a thing in private, there is no reason why he should not be aware that he is doing a crime.

It’s too stupid to keep evidence of crimes or anything like that.

More likely to be thrown away directly after use.

“So, now even if you look for it, might not be able to find....”

Hachiman said, then shook his head with some regret in his eyes, “Although the island is not that big, it’s quite easy to just find a bush and throw it away or dig a hole...”

“Even if we find out, don’t know who did it....”

“Yeah, just like that Horikita. If a criminal is in our class, you still won’t be able to pin him. But, there is also another possibility....”

”Hey, what’s that?”

’I don’t know when, Ibuki has arrived at the tent.’

Actually, she was in the same tent as Karuizawa yesterday.

’Is that so?’ Hachiman glanced over at this new person, moving inside the girl’s tent.

“It’s your fault.”

“Reason, Ibuki is a student from another class, and her purpose was to divi-”

“Hikigaya-kun, are you now doubting a foreign student, Ibuki-san of Class D?” Kushida’s loud voice now interrupted her boss’s painful remarks, obviously aware of Hikigaya-kun’s motives.

“.....” Ibuki.

’So, does Hikigaya-kun’s statement mean he doubts her?’ These were the current thoughts of Karuizawa’s pillow girls at the moment.

Because Ibuki has already lived in their same tent before, she might be the number one suspect.

Then, she got nothing to hide either, and directly went along with Hikigaya-kun’s cruel words, “Indeed, I am the biggest suspect right now...”

“Because I am from the outside cla-”

“Wait a second there, Ibuki. If we go by this statement, then a high chance it’s you, but I personally don’t think so...” Hachiman’s eyes now turned warm, gave her a look of sympathy, moving his palm in the air.

“Because you have no reason to do such a thing. After breaking up with Ryuen, you came to our side. If it’s him, he might do such a despicable thing. But for Ibuki, it’s just impossible!

“??” Ibuki found that she was unable to refute Hikigaya-kun for a moment.

“Furthermore, you were injured, and before Ryuen gave up, he specially arranged for someone to come over and insult you. These are facts that everyone can see.....”

“But, if that’s the main case and you still work for Ryuen, isn’t it terrible?”

“That’s it...” Girls now looked at each other’s faces, with a trembling smile.

’Because in this case, Ibuki-san would be just too scary!’

“ὸ.ό” The scary Ibuki-san.

“Nah....I don’t think, Ibuki-san is that kind of person!”

Of course, Kushida is here to defend you.

“Hai, I also believe Kushida-chan...I mean, you, Ibuki-san of not being a thief!”

Had been worried for a moment whether she had been discovered, but now suddenly felt at ease.

Because, her suspicion was now cleared.

Everyone thought she was not such an outrageous person, her doubts washed away.

This made Ibuki’s heart slightly feel uncomfortable.

Because when she arrived in this class, not only taken in, but Kushida-san even gave her food.

Be nice to her.

’So, this class is really a bunch of kind-hearted idiots’

’Hikigaya is no match for Ryuen at all.’ Ibuki sighed softly in her heart, then left the area for a while, realising he wanted to talk in private with others.

“You must know that our class holds a large number of strongholds, and according to estimates, the total strongholds are only 25-26, very pressured for other classes.”

“Even Class A, should also be impatient, otherwise Ryuen would not be able to sell his 300 points in exchange for cash..”

“Be aware, this kind of transaction is very risky for a class....However, before the end of the exam, the initial points of Class A may also be consumed in guessing the team leader....”

“And, once the points of Class A are reduced on the 7th day, they would even have to pay living expenses to Class D every month, they will suffer a big loss....”

“So how could Class A be so relaxed after being at this negative place?”

“Very good question, Sato....It is also possible to arrange for people to come and spy....”

“We have not arranged for people to keep vigil, so there is a high probability that students from Class A will come to take action!”

These words made people frown.

“Hikigaya-kun, this doesn’t sound nice.....”

“I am glad for not being there. People of Class A are really shameless!”  It was none other than Karuizawa, who yelled loudly inside her tent, making her voice pretty clear.

’Although, I was crying because my underwear was stolen earlier, but now that I have gone through Hikigaya-kun’s strategic analysis....I feel somewhat reassured.’

’Because, this means that my panties may not have been taken away by a pervert! It might be the conspiracy of enemy classes.’

“So, if I understand your point of view, anything is possible....”

“Indeed, as for you, Shinoha-”

“Eh? D-Do you still have anything left to say about me?”

“...Why do you look this scared?”

“Wo..eh..I...um”

“Whatever, your attempt to find the prisoner through searches was actually unrealistic from the birth....Instead, you might have been deceived by Class A!”

Hasebe, the girl who is now really laughing in the corner at Shinohara-san’s misery.

“Think about it carefully, if boys and girls are really at odds with each other, what will our class look like?”

“Maybe, there will be problems in the next special exams.....”

“Kushida-chan....”

”No, Shinohara-san. This is exactly what other classes would like to see...”

’I have nothing to refute anymore.’ “It seems that I was indeed reckless. You were right to stop me, Hikigaya-kun....”

In this way, because of Hachiman’s analysis, searching for underwear will only bring more negative effects.

He already made it difficult for girls to continue this sacred leaf.

Therefore, it was finally agreed that Hachiman would join forces with class’s mother Hirata to sacrifice Yamauchi first and then maintain the stability of the class.

And now, seeing that the girls have stopped making trouble, Hachiman glanced at Karuizawa for a second, then stood up and left the girl’s tent.

’I followed Koenji out to clear the base early in the morning, when I came back, encountered such a mess again.’

Hachiman is going back to his tent to take a long nap.

Do not Disturb.
