COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

Do you ever feel tired of life? Just wanted to give up?

Well, that’s exactly what Hachiman is feeling right now, being stranded on a Deserted Island for 7 days.

“G-Guys, Hikigaya-kun is still waiting for us to beco-”

“I will also listen for Hirata-kun!”

“Didn’t you just call me a bastard?!”

“.....” But, you still gotta survive?

Hachiman just felt like, he couldn’t do it, very difficult, he’s just an ordinary person, never went on Carribbean Islands to enjoy a vacation like Koenji.

“Ano, what Hikigaya-kun is trying to say, Class C has 40 people, and only 16....yeah, just like he said, it’s very small....”

“So, what about the remaining 24 people? Should they all climb into trees or just lay down on the ground?”

Kushida doesn’t think so, after puffing her cheeks, she looked down, her gaze now turned white, “There could be even S-Snakes!”

She cried in a girlish voice, trying her best to look scared,

“aah--”

“booo--”

There were other cute girls, who made a fearful sound, now paying full attention towards Kushida’s open mouth, “If you are bitten by a snake, and get unwell, 30 points for withdrawal.....”

After saying her dialogues, she just went quiet, not meeting other people’s curious eyes at all.

“???” Hachiman. ’Is there still hope?’

’When did Kushida become so cooperative?’

Do you want something from me?’

But, at this moment, Hachiman really found his saviour, a real angel indeed.

Kushida, now gained even more respect inside Hachiman’s heart.

’I trust you, Kushida Kikyo.’

But, well of course, she will cooperate now, Kushida has already guessed that Hikigaya-kun might advocate spending points.

Kushida POV

’First, I don’t want to endure hardship too much’

’Other, Just biting my tongue, waiting for something incredible to happen, like not having enough points later to hold students accountable, and then pursue them.....’

But, this job comes to Hikigaya-kun, has nothing to do with Kushida-chan.

’At a loss, I was just thinking about finding a chance to vent my emotions on the island and get rid of this explosive barrel....’

’Only, now I suddenly found a new chance, so of course I am going to take advantage of it.

Don’t even have to take responsibility!’

Alas, Kushida-chan is just being very selfish, only thinking about herself.

’Who is Hikigaya-kun? I have never heard of this boy....’

3rd POV

“Thank you, Kushida-san” Hachiman even gave a shout-out for her, clapping his hands a little, but then a round of applause followed after him.

Clap! Clap! Clap!

“Kushida-chan is the best girl!”

“Woohoo, I love Kushida-chan!”

“She’s really amazing!”

“Please have babies with me!”

“I will even donate my sperms!”

“Please marry me, Kushida-chan!”

“She’s really a genius!”

“Snakes! Now, I will really die!”

There were several outrageous remarks fired around, making the said girl quite embarrassed, and let out a nervous chuckle.

“ ~hehe~ I just said, what’s normal....” Kushida tried to look humble, even waved her hands, making others think... it’s not a big deal.

“What a slut....”

Um, Kushida wisely decided to ignore that one, then looked towards Hikigaya-kun, with an expectant look, “Please, Do you want to continue?”

“.....” Hachiman. ’Previously, I just thought Kushida is really a nice girl for helping me out....but, looking at this now....’

I should throw down the hammer, while Kushida’s still quite flustered, “This test is not for us to save points, but whether our class as a group, can allocate resources perfectly....”

“If various problems arise due to this, not only will the friendship between  classmates be hurt, but points may also be deducted.”

“So, Isn’t this worth 20 points loss? Or Yukimura, do you think, using a simple toilet can meet your daily needs?”

Hachiman, now directly called out Yukimura in public, trying to give this boy a social death, but he just pushed up his glasses, moving lips, “Indeed, I can easily use a toil-”

“But, you are just 1 person....We have 40 people, and only 1 Cardboard toilet....For how much time, are you going to shit inside?”

“W-what..that’s...I uh...?” Yukimura’s face started to get hot, feeling quite awkward, revealing his best time.

“Let’s just assume, you take 5 minutes.  So, in total 40 people....20-”

“Hikigaya-kun, what about the ventilation? It’s going to smell, right?!”

“Kushida-chan!!”

“She’s right, they need to be left open....Doing it once, requires 5 hours? Yukimura, can you hold it for that long?” Hachiman’s just now deliberately targeting him, for two reasons.

1st, he almost doubted life because of Yukimura.

2nd, he just copied Horikita-senpai’s trademark activity.

“Well -” Yukimura didn’t consider this, but when Hachiman pointed out his excretion time-lapse, many boys felt a

little unbearable.

In other words, they just think of girls’s requests being too demanding.

But, now if the actual use of Cardboard dump... It’s indeed quite stressful.

“You don’t have to worry too much, I also want extra points just like others.” Tried to become familiar to these people’s goals, make them understand you are also pitiful, Hachiman learnt this unique skill, just by watching TV at home.

“Naturally considered, buying stuff like toilet and other things....Score 300 points, Living expenses are very important, rig-

“Why did you all just become silent?” Hachiman is really dumbfounded, when no one interrupts his talk in the middle, like every other time.

It’s just....you’re lying!

Almost the entire class despises him now, because Hikigaya-kun has been eating Horikita-san’s bento in class for two weeks!

Even going inside her dormitory?!

So, don’t you already have something very nice to eat?!

Moreover, there are some girls, who even saw...... you were being taken to the 3rd floor for Lunch, by students from other classes.

Don’t think we are fools!

Restaurants on the 3rd floor are generally for staff members, so the prices will of course be more beautiful, ordinary students will never go to such expensive places to eat.

In this way, Hikigaya-kun didn’t know, his reputation just dropped instantly, but he still dared to open his mouth in public.

“Then, let’s consider the score components of this exam :

Bonus for occupying the strongholds + 300 original S points - consumed part + for guessing the Leader of our enemies....”

“This is the best case scenario for us...”

“You are right, Sorry don’t know the name....but, Koenji has already occupied 20 base camps.

Points will be quite large. So, After deducting the 100-point reward given to Koenji, we can also get 200 points!”

“Hey, doesn’t this mean, Our victory is being written by the Gods?!”

“No matter what, each person’s living expenses are going to increase by 20,000 yen per month!”

“Even have a guarantee!”

“Then, why am I still working so hard?!”

“I want to ride a Jet-ski!”

“Let’s go fishing together!”

“Yeah, fuck this exam!”

“I am bloody out of here!”

“Sayonara!”

“Don’t even ask for my help!”
