COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

“Hey, do you want more fruits Ibuki-san?”

“ •̀ ᴖ •́ ” Suzune’s face was like this.

“Don’t give me that look, even if some people in the class are really hopeless,” Hachiman did not like when she made that angry-looking face, at one of his finest.

“But, for Kushida, you have just wronged her....Although her goal is to become friends with everyone, she is not an absolute virgin!”

”??”

Suzune then looked over, with two question marks on her face.

Previously, this boy accused Kushida-san for sleeping with an upperclassman to gain info about the Deserted Island exam, but said person refused this claim outright.

’So, did he get some validity proof?’

Indeed, Hachiman was quite excited to make Kushida a known slut, he added a little more, “Observe carefully and note which fruits Ibuki has eaten. If she is good, we can also eat those fruits....”

The girls successfully picked back a large amount of edible items.

Although, we did not recognize many of them and not even sure whether people could eat them.

However, the quantity is sufficient.

And, Suzune now also seemed to have her head stuck for a lot of seconds before finally reacting.

”??”

“...H-Hachiman, I still underestimated.

You are really crazy!” Suzune looked at him in shock, with eyes full of disbelief behind.

’What does it mean that we can only eat the types of fruits that Ibuki-san has eaten?...’

’Isn’t this just a test of poison?’

’Although, I already knew that Ibuki-san was a spy, but there was no way, I would do such a thing!’

“What an exaggeration.”

Hachiman didn’t look happy, being called a mad boy, and glanced at Suzune with a bitter expression on his face, “This is just a basic operation...”

“Huh? Can you explain?”

“Didn’t you heard? Kindness to the enemy is just cruelty to oneself.”

“It’s Ryuen’s fault for sending Ibuki to our door? Also, there is no need for her to try..... ”

“Besides, why should I use my own classmates to poison? Although the initial score is now 0 points, there is no need to let the students of our home suffer....”

“So isn’t it quite reasonable to test the poison on Ibuki?” Hachiman had now directly started to pollute Suzune’s way of thinking, making her understand how the outside world revolves around.

“We are hostile enemies...if Ibuki is poisoned, she will only have her own class deduct points, right?”

Then looked over Suzune’s face, after he was finished, noticing every little change in her body movements.

“Uh... I guess what you said now makes sense....”

But, Suzune was left speechless, even though she had quite a few remarks about Hachiman’s approach, her mouth is dry after hearing a long reason.

Which she obviously couldn’t pass.

“I don’t think there will be any problem with the fruit. After all, isn’t it already confirmed?”

“What’s that?”

“A fruit orchard, with a vegetable patch. This island is verified to be an artificial one created by the school. How could there be poisonous fruits left behind by staff?”

“That’s not certain!”

But, Hachiman shook his head, denying her conclusion with a wave of his palm, “Even if the school doesn’t want anything to happen to us. But they will definitely not be stingy about planting some wild fruits that will cause diarrhea after eating.....”

“D-Diarrhea, I already have a cold...”

Would be a real horror for Suzune, if she ate something bad.

“After all, the main subject of this exam is survival in the wild, and distinguishing between food must be part of the education”

Hachiman now paused a second, then took out a bunch of green fruits.

“W-what’s this?”

Suzune was startled by this display of magic.

“I have no idea.....This was collected by Karuizawa and the others just now. Even Ike has never seen it, but although I am not sure, I have been reading a lot of books recently, and think it’s Croton.”

Hachiman rolled the said green plant around his fingers, looking over different colours of shade.

“Well, you probably haven’t, but I’ve heard, this kind of fruit will cause diarrhea if you eat it...”

“As for the team leader’s information, Koenji is sure there will be no problem.....”

“However, Ibuki has to be dealt with in due course if she stays in our camp....”

“• •” Suzune now just fell into silence.

Really hammered.

With the degree of mourning in school, this kind of evil thing is actually done!

After all, just having diarrhea won’t cause trouble, but it will certainly deduct points.

Just like meeting a snake, although it is not venomous, you may be kicked out if you get bitten.

’Compared with releasing the snake, this fruit may be a suitable way to drive Ibuki-san away.... ’

Soon.

Because, it was just the first day people came to live on island, it went very smoothly.

Except for the team that went to collect firewood and encountered a snake, other students still regarded this place as a good camping opportunity.

Very excited.

’After a while, I even smelled the odour of grilled fish and vegetables fried in lard.’

It’s just a pity that our vegetable field is now occupied by Class B, so those can’t be used any more.

“Everyone!”

At this point of time, Kushida put her hands in front of her mouth like a trumpet, yelled out loud, paining her muscles, “It’s time for dinner!”

”Oh, there is actually fish soup.”

“It smells damn good!”

“Must taste great, right?!”

“As expected of Kushida-chan!”

“Hey....stop it now!”

Kushida said a little embarrassedly, with her cheeks a bit pink, “Actually, it’s all Sudo-kun’s credit, who caught the fish and even handled it...”

“Oh, well I…ah…”

Sudo, who was now suddenly called upon and immediately became the focus of everyone’s attention, seemed a little surprised, with a charmed expression on his face.

Indeed, grateful looks from his classmates really benefited.

’Even, I want to be praised and recognized by others....’

“So, if you want to thank me, just give it to Sudo-kun....I actually didn’t do anything...”

Kushida now gave random people a sweet look, but what she said moved everyone, especially Sudo, who was also filled with gratitude at this time.

But, Hachiman was not surprised at all by this.

Kushida has been running her Empire for a very long time, winning everyone’s hearts over to become “her friends.”

Will also win over people like Sudo.

’So, naturally I wouldn’t let go of a good opportunity like this....’

’After all, I don’t lack such a remote favor, have already done enough on weekdays....’

’On the contrary, by telling everyone about Sudo-kun’s contribution so generously now, I can also win the favor of others and even make Sudo-kun feel thankful to me....’

’That was super hard work!’

Kushida flexed her fingers, tilted her little head, and said cutely, “Yeah, Sudo-kun has to cut the fish open, endure the bad smell, remove all the internal organs, and then scrape off all the fish scales. He spent a lot of time.....”

“This is really incredible!”

“Sudo, thank you, man!”

“I didn’t expect you to have this skill.”

Under Kushida’s guidance, the students of Class C praised him even more.

Even Shinohara, who initially argued with him about lighting the fire, found her way to the right path and started talking to Sudo.

People who usually have a problem with his red delinquent type hair, not said anything inappropriate at this time.

After all, cannibals have short mouths, and the fish soup they are drinking now is due to Sudo’s man power.

By taking out the glasses used for washing, each person filled a cup......of delicious soup.

Hold the glass with both hands and take a sip, a look of proper enjoyment can be noticed.

’As for “Every girl’s Kushida-sensei” my cooking skills are naturally perfect, otherwise I would easily lose points!’

In this way, atmosphere in the class became good, and lively.

“Here Koenji-kun, this is yours.”

It was Kushida, who personally served dinner to everyone one by one, with a charming smile on her face, but in front of a blond boy, she spooned a large piece of fish for him.

“.....” Koenji just nodded slightly and then walked away.

He didn’t even say thank you.

’Because, I didn’t feel there was anything strange with eating a big piece of fish than others....’

When the leader of Npc’s saw this scene, he also said nothing and just accepted it happily.

“Why?” Ibuki was really confused.
