Berserk God of War

Chapter 743: Chapter 743: Erase it Anyway

At this moment, Su Yue Immortal couldn’t help but voice her question, ”Since my grandfather is a demon, and since he abandoned my father for so long, isn’t it uncertain that this would even draw him out?”

Mei Xiaofang nodded emphatically. If Grandma Yue Xi’s husband really was a demon, would such an utterly unforgivable person recognize his own son?

Besides, Grandma Yue Xi herself seemed like she had been abandoned for decades too.

In response to this concern, Ye Wukui smiled faintly, ”You can rest assured on this point. Do you know why we were able to find you? It’s precisely because the Su Demon was also searching. We picked up the trail from him.”

”If it weren’t for the Su Demon, we wouldn’t even know that Ye Wuyan had hidden away in the East Plain Northern Land.”

These words made both Su Zhenglong’s party of three and Sikong Jing’s duo below realize one thing.

That is, the Su Demon hadn’t abandoned Su Zhenglong and his mother all those years ago—something must have happened that led to the separation of the Su Demon and Grandma Yue Xi, and it was very likely... the assassination attempt by Willow Leaf Saint Manor.

Grandma Yue Xi obviously had deep feelings for the Su Demon, so much so that even when seeking refuge with another family, she insisted on one with the Su surname.

Because she wanted her son to naturally inherit the Su surname from the Su Demon.

Ye Wukui and the others were well aware of this, which is why when they were searching for people in Canglong Small Domain, they targeted all families with the Su surname, which is what they meant earlier when they said... another Su Residence!

Gurgle...

Su Yue Immortal swallowed nervously and asked again, ”If we can’t bring out our grandfather, how are you going to treat us?”

Ye Wukui’s eyes narrowed, and he said nonchalantly, ”Annihilate, of course. If there is no merit, then punishment must be meted out based on the crime.”

The message was clear: if the Su Demon wasn’t lured out, then Su Zhenglong’s family would have no merits to offset their crimes.

Faced with this ruthless answer, Mei Xiaofang couldn’t help but scream, ”What crimes have we committed? Even if Grandma Yue Xi betrayed your Willow Leaf Saint Manor, we are innocent.”

She hadn’t thought that much into it, she just felt it was so unjust—Su Zhenglong hadn’t even been born at the time.

”Haha...”

Ye Wukui couldn’t help but laugh loudly before continuing sternly, ”Having the bloodline of Ye Wuyan is a crime in itself. Originally, Ye Wuyan was betrothed to this Mr. Shitian by my side, but she ended up eloping with a demon, causing us to lose all face.”

With this, Ye Wukui pointed to the elder next to him, namely Liu Shitian.

Back then, Grandma Yue Xi was betrothed to him.

Ye Wukui continued, ”Our Willow Leaf Saint Manor, the Liu Family and the Ye Family both hold esteem; we cannot justify ourselves to the Liu Family without killing you.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Liu Shitian’s face darkened as he said, ”Wukui, why bother talking so much with them? Just take them away.”

Clearly, Ye Wukui’s words had stirred up Liu Shitian’s angry memories.

At this point, a young figure belonging to the Willow Leaf Saint Manor stepped forward and said mockingly, ”Grandpa Wu Kui, I think it’s enough to leave just the son of Su Old Demon. The rest should be eliminated.”

Pausing for a moment, the young man added, ”To avoid the trouble of keeping them around.”

Upon hearing this, Su Zhenglong’s eyes widened, and he stood up frantically, glaring at the young man.

”Liu An is right; there’s no need to keep the others. Having the offspring of Ye Wuyan is enough,” Liu Shitian nodded vigorously.

When he uttered the words ”offspring,” his killing intent was palpable.

This scared Su Zhenglong’s trio half to death...

Sikong Jing and Su Yuexi below also couldn’t help but step forward, the latter’s entire face turning pale from nerves.

Above, Su Zhenglong couldn’t help but roar, ”If you dare touch my wife and daughters, I’d rather kill myself than help you.”

However... Pfft!

The young man named Liu An sneered again, and suddenly, emerald green willow branches flashed in his hand, binding Su Zhenglong’s body in an instant. He scoffed coldly, ”Can you commit suicide, you bastard?”

”Daddy...” Su Yue Immortal couldn’t help but scream.

Mei Xiaofang also rushed towards Su Zhenglong, with tears flowing uncontrollably down her cheeks.

In their hearts, they felt utterly desolate; to the terrifying Willow Leaf Saint Manor, it was a matter of ease to decide whether they should live or die, leaving them without even the chance to take their own lives.

Neither Su Zhenglong nor anyone else had the right to resist them; they were all like ants.

At that moment, seeing what happened, Su Yuexi became anxious to rush over, but Sikong Jing held her hand tightly.

Sikong Jing’s thoughts whirled rapidly, yet he could not find any other means, and had no choice but to hide his and Su Yuexi’s presence as much as possible.

Only by concealing their aura, and preventing the discovery that Su Yuexi was also the granddaughter of Ye Wuyan, was there a chance to resist.

As long as Grandpa Wu Kui decided not to exterminate Su Yue Immortal and his mother-in-law Mei Xiaofang, he could then figure out a way to catch up, or perhaps find Grandma Yue Xi, Su Demon, and others first, to rescue the trio.

It was not the time to face Willow Leaf Saint Manor head-on... Otherwise, both he and Su Yuexi would simply become pawns at the mercy of the others.

But in the next moment, a terrifying aura suddenly pressed down, locking onto Sikong Jing and Su Yuexi.

Sikong Jing’s complexion changed dramatically, unable to resist lifting his head; had they been discovered?

Could it be that his ability to conceal was not enough in front of Willow Leaf Saint Manor? Bear in mind, he had opened his Spirit Platform Consciousness and possessed meridians of various fierce beasts, in addition to the stealth technique of the ”Emperor Beheading Technique.”

Because he could not afford to be sensed by terrifying beasts, Sikong Jing had put much effort into concealing his presence.

As Sikong Jing felt an icy chill all over his body...

The aura locking onto them abruptly withdrew from Sikong Jing and fully focused on Su Yuexi instead.

Then, Ye Wukui suddenly spoke out, ”Jade hairpin.”

The one locking onto Sikong Jing and the others was indeed Ye Wukui, and he did not reply to whether he would kill Mei Xiaofang and Su Yue Immortal.

Meanwhile, Sikong Jing glanced at the hairpin among Su Yuexi’s locks, realizing it was the Jade hairpin that had drawn the other’s attention. It was originally brought by Grandma Yue Xi and was likely once a treasure of the Willow Leaf Saint Manor...

Which meant, Su Yuexi had no way to temporarily sever ties with her father-in-law’s family.

This was trouble indeed!

Mei Xiaofang above also saw Sikong Jing and the others, and screaming with a trembling voice, she said, ”Ajing, Yue Xi...”

She had hoped the two of them hadn’t arrived yet, as she was determined to never reveal the existence of her other daughter, but in the end, they had come and been discovered. What to do now?

If the others truly intended to eradicate them, none of Su Zhenglong’s family could escape.

Just as Su Zhenglong and the others were frantic and anxious, whoosh...

Ye Wukui suddenly disappeared from atop the beetle and reappeared in front of Su Yuexi and Sikong Jing.

But still, Sikong Jing was ignored as he focused intently on Su Yuexi.

And Su Yuexi, fraught with neither trepidation nor weakness, asked loudly, ”Since my grandmother is your blood sister, why must you kill her descendants? Are we not your kin as well?”

On the other side, Sikong Jing’s thoughts had entered the Ten Thousand Beasts Heavenly Prison.

He gazed deeply at the assembled beasts and spoke slowly, ”I might become demonized soon, and even consume all strength... At that time, I might commit suicide. If it really comes to that, have Yue Xi take you to find a new Master of Ten Thousand Beasts.”

Sikong Jing’s voice was calm, yet resolute.
