From BOSS to Canon Fodder: She is Currently Out of Service!

The situation on Qiming Star is becoming more and more dire by the day. Although the Alliance troops stationed on Qiming Star have organized effective countermeasures, they still failed to stop the explosive growth and destructive power of the Adhesive Devouring Worms. All they could do was rescue as many commoners as possible, then send them to a safe place to wait for boarding the warship. Students were the first to be evacuated...

This was an accepted fact among both the commoners living on Qiming Star and the military. Put simply, Qiming Star is a military academy planet, and most of the people on it are students and their accompanying parents. These students are the future and hope of the Alliance, and the blood kin of the parents. Their priority in evacuation was a widely accepted decision.

Logically speaking, Huaixi, Huaifeng, and Qianhe, as students of the Xilena First Affiliated School Primary Department, have the right to leave in the first wave. However, while the three children could leave, Changxi, Su Mo, and Qian Chen could not. After much consideration, they all decided to stay and leave together with the adults! This is why the three kids ended up being part of the third wave...

However... due to Gu Ningzhi’s insistence, they eventually left almost at the same time as the second wave.

What they boarded was not a specially designated evacuation warship, but a small lifeboat specially prepared by the Gu Family for the two children. After flying to the transit station, they would then head to the Gu Family’s true stronghold! The Gu Family originated from Qiming Star, but after so many years of development, most of the clan members now resided on the Ancient Star—the only super planet in the Xilena Star System and the most developed center in every aspect!

The Little Bear Huaifeng loved watching melodramatic romantic dramas, and his brother Huaixi, deeply influenced, also loved watching them. Then... he realized he was now acting out the most melodramatic scene in those dramas. From an insignificant commoner to a [noble aristocrat] in a sudden twist of fate, life is like a play.

The Gu Family arranged personnel to take the two little brats away, and Qian Chen, the uncle and nephew, along with Changxi and Su Mo, also boarded this warship. It’s just... Huaixi really disliked the way that woman, dressed like a Black Widow, looked at Changxi and Su Mo.

”Young Master Sun, once you return to the family, you will be the eldest grandson of the ’Hua’ generation and need to learn many things. I will serve as your and Young Master Feng’s instructional housekeeper, always accompanying you as you grow up.” The Black Widow raised her chin high, her eyes slightly downcast, her expression extremely indifferent, ”I don’t have high expectations for you, after all, you grew up outside the family...”

Gu Ningzhi is still on the front line for now and will be the last to evacuate, so on this Gu Family-exclusive warship, there were only the two little brats. Huaixi had been silent ever since boarding... On their way to the warship, he saw scenes he would find hard to forget for the rest of his life. The Insect Race’s rampant devastation... the real scenes were far more cruel and bloody than imagined.

While Huaixi remained silent, the woman dressed as the Black Widow continued, ”As the eldest grandson of the Gu Family this generation, if you lack inborn qualities, they can be supplemented later. You should not mix with such dull and lowly robots in the future. Although your bloodline is not exceptionally pure, as your mother’s side is just an ordinary woman, you have the noble bloodline of Young Master Gu San, so...”

”So you can shut up now!” Huaixi turned his gaze to the middle-aged man standing beside the Black Widow, coldly asking, ”Who exactly is in charge here, is it her or me? Does she act under my command, or is she bullying me because I’m young and manipulating me? Is this the so-called Gu Family’s manners, sending out a woman who doesn’t open her eyes? Enough, I think I don’t need a blind person as any housekeeper!”

After being interrupted by Huaixi, the Black Widow’s expression turned green at once, and hearing such merciless criticism from a little child further blackened her aura. In her eyes, Huaixi’s bloodline indeed wasn’t noble or pure enough, and she was very picky!

If not for the late Young Master Gu San’s sake, she wouldn’t have shown any pleasant expression to the child!

”First, my mother is a strong and resilient woman. I don’t know about the nobility of her bloodline, but at least Gu Ningxuan is not qualified to match her. Second, Uncle Changxi and Aunt Su Mo are self-aware intelligent robots, not comparable to someone like you with congenital deformities in both aesthetic views! Lastly, you’re fired! Either you leave here! Or I leave!”

The middle-aged butler slightly lowered his head, unable to suppress a smile at the corner of his mouth. This Young Master Sun truly has a temper! However... from what the child said, it seems he holds quite a bit of resentment towards Young Master Gu San? Young Master Gu San is resented...
