From BOSS to Canon Fodder: She is Currently Out of Service!

The incident at the academy celebration that year, although it was quickly and inexplicably quelled and made the few mysterious people who participated in pacifying it shine brightly online, ultimately had a huge impact on the Xilena First Affiliated School.

Several years have passed, and just as the Xilena First Affiliated School was gradually returning to peace and forgetting the hurt from that year, it was destined to attract another wave of turmoil.

”Brother, let’s play that game!” Huaifeng excitedly leaned against the wall, looking at the swimming pool below where many kids around seven or eight years old were playing. The depth of the pool only reached their waists, and these kids were having a unique competition, with the enthusiastic cheers around pushing the tense atmosphere to a peak, even though the participants were just a bunch of little kids, it was still pretty lively.

”No way, you’re not old enough, don’t even think about it...” As someone continuously progressing towards being ”steady and dignified,” Huaixi clearly preferred static activities, like reading and contemplating. Of course, piloting Mechas, Mecha battles, and practicing swordplay were exceptions.

”But... brother, it looks so fun...” Huaifeng clung to the wall like a gecko, but when faced with his elder brother Huaixi, who was steadfast in his position, he could only sulkily admit defeat and was pulled away by the collar and squeezed out of the crowd.

”No matter how fun it is, you can’t play it. Xiao Feng, it’s really inappropriate. How can you separate from the group just to play games! Uncle Changxi can’t find us and will surely be very worried.” Huaixi pushed his brother onto a long bench and gave him a very large bottle of Qiming Star specialty fruit drink. ”If you’re thirsty, drink this first. We’ll wait here for Uncle and Auntie.”

”Brother... you’re aging ahead of your time, we’re still five-year-olds in the prime of youth, we should be squandering our youth, letting our passion flow! Just like in that scene on TV yesterday, where Jiang Zhe went to fight in a Mecha duel at the amusement park for his girlfriend... that battle scene was super cool, I want to have that kind of power in the future too...”

Huaixi’s hand shook, almost tossing the drink bottle in his hand. Having power like the protagonist of a cheesy romance drama... little brother, if mom heard this, she’d definitely cry. Apparently, there were two other children who had the same thought as Huaixi.

”Having power like Jiang Zhe... you’re really determined to be a failure.” A slight chuckling sound came from behind, and the two guys turned their heads in unison to see another bench behind theirs, and the speaker was a slightly skinny little boy... at the moment they saw him, Huaifeng felt it was a pity Qianhe the dolt wasn’t there.

This boy really looked like a girl. If it weren’t for his sharp eyes, he might have made a mistake.

”Why do you say that? Jiang Zhe’s battle scenes were clearly very flashy...” Huaifeng discontentedly stood on the bench, pouting at him. ”The drama also said that Jiang Zhe had strong abilities, a genius with double S-grade spiritual and physical ability...”

”Though that’s how it’s officially set, those techniques are really clumsy.” The boy with feminine features crossed his arms and slightly raised his chin, ”So lame, how could that look like a genius with double S-grade abilities? His IQ’s clearly below normal, and the show’s logic is nonsense. My brother said that anyone who watches this drama and thinks it’s great must be a fool.”

And yet Huaifeng said he wanted to be like that... of course, he’d be laughed at...

”Humph, if those battle scenes aren’t cool, then what is?” Huaifeng’s IQ wasn’t a problem, and naturally, he also knew there were many cheesy parts in this drama. What kept him watching daily was Jiang Zhe’s battle scenes.

”You bumpkin, those are all made with post-production special effects, real cool skills would never appear on TV! Those actors don’t have such high combat power and operational skills, do they?” Talking about this, the boy seemed like he had endless words.

”My brother said just looking at those battles, they’re utterly ridiculous. No idea how they imagined those moves that defy scientific principles, but I can only light a candle for the TV drama’s Mecha battle director. It’s impressive they can imagine such things and still be alive!”

Moreover, his brother hated that cheesy romance drama called ”Cross-era Mecha Master” the most, and his most hated character was that fool named ”Jiang Zhe.” The sarcasm was relentless, and as his brother’s disciple, he had thoroughly mastered the art of caustic remarks.
