From BOSS to Canon Fodder: She is Currently Out of Service!

Su Jiameng gently patted Huaifeng and the others on their backs. Little children are truly fragile, with small spines that you can feel just by touching. Her son, whom she had always cherished, was bullied. How could Su Jiameng not be angry!

”And then?” Su Jiameng asked, while the expressions of the adults around were somewhat subtle.

Silently, Zhu Mengtong spoke up, ”About this matter... let me continue to explain.”

At that time, Zhu Mengtong had just finished work at noon and was passing by a snack shop to buy some sweets for a colleague who loved them. That’s when she witnessed the whole situation unfold. The arrogant little girl saw Huaixi and them and immediately showed discomfort. She always thought she was the prettiest and cutest, and she couldn’t stand other girls who were similarly adorable.

”Hey, you two, come here to this lady,” the little girl demanded. However, the two brothers ignored her, and she, pampered from a young age, wouldn’t have it. She had her attendants grab the brothers, demanding, ”Why aren’t you coming over?”

Even the good-natured Huaixi was annoyed. Why should he go just because someone yelled at him? But Huaixi couldn’t express himself so harshly. He blinked his eyes and sincerely replied, ”I’m sorry, we didn’t hear you. Is there something you need, big sister?”

”I don’t like your faces!” The extremely arrogant girl poked Huaifeng’s face with her finger. Her nails were long and finely manicured, and Huaifeng’s skin was tender, resulting in a deep red mark.

Huaixi pulled his brother behind him, thinking that the person in front, only two years older than them, might be unhinged! Better to stay away! Whether someone likes their faces or not, it’s their faces, and it has nothing to do with her!

Huaixi’s actions angered the girl, and then... things got out of hand. The girl, furious, her eyes red with tears, demanded that her attendants ruin Huaixi and his brother’s faces, muttering, ”Mom and Dad say I’m the most beautiful and cutest in the universe, I really don’t want to see their faces...”

Faced with such aggressive behavior, even the generally amiable two little guys felt powerless. Seeing the attendants really attempting to scar them with apparent skill, the two boys started to panic...

”You’re so outrageous. What’s wrong with someone looking good? This is... this is...” Huaifeng hid behind his brother but stuck out his head, angrily saying to the arrogant girl, ”It’s simply... like killing someone unjustly! Yes, it’s like killing someone unjustly! You’re so barbaric, even if you look good, you’re as bad and ugly as the wicked women on TV!”

The attendants didn’t care what Huaifeng and the others said; such incidents had happened several times since the little princess came to Qiming Star. Although the victim’s parents were unwilling, the little girl’s powerful background always suppressed them. They received hefty compensation in Credit Points and had minor surgeries to restore their appearance...

The attendants were just following orders. Although the onlookers wanted to help, they were stopped by the people secretly protecting the arrogant girl, and the whole snack shop was shrouded in a strange, murderous atmosphere. Seeing his brother picked up by the collar for protecting him, Huaifeng, the Little Bear, was scared and angry, and his usually well-controlled telekinesis became disorderly. It was this disorder that changed his expression.

”Ugly freak!” Huaifeng stood with one hand on his hip and pointed at the girl with the other, saying, ”You’re really ugly, where’s the beauty? Your parents must be blind, with lots of soft antennae on your head, fish scales on your face, and eyes like flies... Hideous! Let go of my brother, or I won’t be polite!”

Both baozi have their hidden strengths; although their telekinesis can’t be used lightly, if they truly reveal their cards, it’s uncertain whether they could topple these people, but self-preservation wouldn’t be an issue. Huaifeng’s words seemed to infuriate the arrogant girl, who began to wail, initially ordering to ruin their faces, but now directly demanding their lives!

”Xiao Feng, you said that little girl... really looks like that?” Su Jiameng frowned. The wondrous uses of telekinesis include seeing through illusions. Some people are naturally able to do it, while others need to develop and hone it over time.

But her Huaifeng was evidently the former. His telekinesis naturally can pierce through illusions, rendering all falsehoods exposed.

”Yes, she’s really ugly!” Huaifeng, holding a grudge against the girl, spoke bluntly. She wanted to take his life; even a good-tempered person couldn’t remain kind, ”Mom, she really looks ugly like that!”

”Hmm.” Su Jiameng made a mental note but didn’t say anything else, choosing to listen to the rest of the story.

Changxi had been secretly guarding them, naturally not allowing the two little ones to come to harm. A fright was one thing, but causing actual harm was another; Changxi would make these humans witness the power of autonomous intelligent robots. Zhu Mengtong by their side certainly wouldn’t allow a tragedy. Just as they were about to intervene, things changed faster than anticipated.

Huaifeng, the Little Bear, in an attempt to protect his brother, tried to compress and detonate nearby objects using telekinesis to create chaos. However, the little girl seemed to realize something, silently screamed, disrupting Huaifeng’s telekinesis and causing a misdirection...

”So, in the end, it was Huaifeng who injured himself?” Zhu Mengtong, not knowing much about telekinesis, sensed the problem with the two little ones’ spiritual power but wisely chose to conceal and ignore it.

In her account, some scenes were vague, but Su Jiameng, knowing the ways of the two little ones, managed to piece together the entire sequence of events. (To be continued.
