From BOSS to Canon Fodder: She is Currently Out of Service!

”Don’t even think about it, you little rascal, never letting anyone have peace!” Su Jiameng raised her hand and tapped his forehead, speaking with a mix of frustration and affection, ”This time you got into such dangerous trouble...”

Huaifeng felt uneasy upon hearing this. He genuinely hadn’t been mischievous this time; he was really, really innocent. The little guy put on his most endearing act, wrapping his arms around Su Jiameng’s neck and shaking, his sweet whining voice was almost unbearable, ”Mommy, mommy, mommy, Xiao Feng’s good mommy, it really wasn’t my fault this time, truly, look at my sincere eyes...”

Su Jiameng’s mouth twitched as she gave Huaifeng a spank on the butt. Even at a time like this, the boy didn’t forget to cause trouble. With a deliberately stern face, she said, ”Oh, I’d like to hear whose fault this really is.”

Hmm-hmm-hmm, Su Jiameng was already grinding her teeth inwardly. Whether it was her son’s fault or not, he’s only a five-year-old brat after all. If he accidentally bumped into something, she could endure it; next time, she would remind this little rascal to be more cautious when playing! But if someone else caused it, no matter who, she would make them pay an absolute price!

”Mama...” Well, a little bear is still a little bear, hearing Su Jiameng say this, his small eyes immediately shifty, completely unable to meet his mom’s gaze. Seeing this, she also understood that her son was indeed partly to blame!

Sitting on the hospital bench, Su Jiameng took out a clean tissue to wipe the bloodstains off the little ones’ faces, then looked at Huaifeng with a half-smile, hoping this little rascal would confess on his own. Given the overpowering aura of his mom, the little guy couldn’t hold out, and in the end, confessed everything honestly; Changxi and Su Mo supplemented the details, thus unraveling the whole affair.

It turned out the whole thing started with Huaifeng being a little bear. Having been at home for two days, he was utterly bored and only then realized that, although kindergarten was dull, it at least passed the time. Huaixi, being more steady by nature, tolerated the boredom.

However, with his younger brother constantly clamoring about wanting to go out, in the end, Huaixi couldn’t resist the temptation...

”No way, definitely don’t let Uncle Changxi or Aunt Su Mo accompany us...” Huaifeng pouted, his little face full of reluctance, ”If uncle or aunt were there, we wouldn’t be able to play properly, right, brother?”

”But it’s not safe outside, we can’t go out on our own.” Huaixi held his ground, though in the end, he was overcome by his mischievous brother’s various sweet and pestering tactics, making it hard to defend against. Eventually, Huaixi hesitantly nodded, ”Alright, but we can’t go too far, otherwise what if uncle and aunt can’t find us...”

And so, the two little buns decided to sneak out. Of course, Changxi knew about it, as anything happening within the Su Mansion did not escape his notice. Alas, the two young masters were growing up, and even knew how to plan a stealthy escape.

Watching quietly as the two little buns huddled together planning their route to sneak away, Changxi smiled meaningfully. Kids being kids, a bit of mischief suits their nature; the young masters were still young, and had the right to make a fuss. Playing more now would leave no regrets in the future.

Thus, with the indulgence of two robotic babysitters, their escape was successful. Moreover, their scope of activity kept widening, wandering from the neighborhood straight to the city center. The city center was as bustling as ever, filling the faces of the little ones, who had never seen so many people, with excited blushes, attracting the eyes of many, who marveled at how cute and delicate they were.

However, being good-looking can also attract jealousy. When the two little ones held hands and went shopping for snacks, they were noticed... to be precise, by a little girl two years older than them. If Su Jiameng’s boys were the protagonists of a novel, this would be when they’d form an inseparable bond with the girl, continuing their relationship when they grew up...

Sadly, in stories, the male protagonists usually meet cute little lolis, whereas Huaixi and Huaifeng encountered a spoiled little princess! Although Huaifeng and Huaixi are boys, due to the eccentric preferences of their elders, they’ve kept their long hair, coupled with their delicate appearances that make it hard to discern their gender, leading the spoiled little girl to mistake them for girls.
