From BOSS to Canon Fodder: She is Currently Out of Service!

Chapter 54: Chapter 32: The Queenly Aura of the Training System (Part 2)

She packed her entire day full, canceling plans for the solo match. Anyway, as long as she had that challenge post, her daily income wasn’t too shabby. Moreover, as the team’s winning streak soared, they gradually accumulated a steady audience. Along with the Mecha Fighting Arena’s promotion of their consecutive wins, their daily earnings weren’t low either.

This way, the remaining time was all for training... As for sleeping and whatnot, lying in the nutrient liquid would count as rest. In her past life, she struggled for so many years to tame the haughty little demon of the teaching system. She didn’t expect that in this life, she still has the fate of a masochist, forced to live miserably under this system’s halo ε(┬┬﹏┬┬)3

”Ding-da-ding, Host Su Jiameng, please immediately execute the first day’s training program, time designated...” A cold and familiar voice echoed in Su Jiameng’s mind, her mouth twitching (*???), who can tell her why it’s starting now?

Glancing at the time, well, it was exactly on the training start time. She hurriedly added enough nutrient liquid to two eggs, grabbed her keycard, and rushed out, then dashed to the training room to start her first day of training...

Extreme weight-bearing running, ultra-crisis dodging training, physical training actions, extreme gravity pulling, virtual combat in the gravity training room...

Looking at these familiar training programs, Su Jiameng suddenly felt an urge to cry without tears. Is there anyone in the world more masochistic than her, actively seeking abuse? Just as she was complaining about the teaching system being so inhumane, an electric current stimulating her pain nerves spread out, making her pause her actions. Of the six flying blades coming at her, five hit... Damn it! Can she say this hurts like hell!

Although they didn’t actually stab into flesh with blood spurting out, the pain was one hundred percent, isn’t it o(TヘTo)

Liu Shiyi was supervising the Mecha Guard Squad members to complete their task goals. He was planning to head to the nearest Training Room 39 for a warm-up but found this usually empty training room brightly lit. With a wooden face, he surveyed the room, noticing someone in the innermost ultra-crisis dodging training area. Frowning slightly, he instinctively approached quietly and discovered the person training inside was the woman from that poor planet he met before.

She was still wearing those loose, crossover training clothes. Holding a virtual knife in each hand, her long hair tied with chopsticks had fallen loose, her cheeks flushed red due to the intense workout, her body soaked in sweat. She focused intensely, guarding against the deadly flying blades that could appear at any moment.

Regarding this training program, unless someone was extremely confident in their reaction speed, they generally wouldn’t risk attempting it. Liu Shiyi was the same. In their circle, they would say only people at the end stage of masochism would choose these kinds of training.

Liu Shiyi shifted his gaze to the sign at the ultra-crisis dodging training room’s entrance. It displayed the number of blades fired inside, how many hit their target, and how long the trainer stayed inside... However, when he saw those glaring numbers, even Captain Liu, known for his unchanging expression, had a slip of nerve at the corners of his mouth.

Training time was two hours minus ten minutes, nearly twenty thousand flying blades, and more than three thousand six hundred hitting their target...

Ahem, remember in the Earth Era, there was a punishment called ”lingchi,” where they cut a person three thousand six hundred times. This kind of training was equivalent to undergoing a ”lingchi” once w(?Д?)w; people this ruthless to themselves are rare nowadays.

Seeing Su Jiameng still struggling to dodge, deflecting blades and getting pierced by them, Liu Shiyi felt an intense pain just watching her.

Especially when the blades came flying toward her eye and brow, he’d get a hallucination, feeling like he was the one being tortured. Seeing Su Jiameng’s performance made him recall a miserable male classmate from his school days who participated in an ultra-crisis dodging training once. Since then, that guy outright gave up being a Mecha Master, switching to Mecha maintenance.

Thinking about it, if he were as miserable as that classmate, he might have been left with a shadow too. These flying blades were indiscriminate and irregular. To deflect or dodge them, one could only rely on their judgment and speed. If you accidentally failed to dodge and got hit in that unmentionable area of a man’s body... ahem, how profound would the psychological shadow be.

”Twenty-three thousand! Ding-da-ding, Host Su Jiameng successfully dodged twenty-three thousand flying blades, completing the ultra-crisis dodging project’s primary task. You can have a ten-minute rest; the next task will begin shortly...” The teaching system’s voice echoed, and to Su Jiameng, who was exhausted and in pain to the point of wanting to die, it sounded like heavenly music... Damn it, she hates this system!

Practically crawling out while holding onto the door, a bottle of water appeared in front of Su Jiameng. She painfully looked up, seeing that buzz-cut Captain. As a vindictive and petty woman, Su Jiameng hadn’t forgotten how this guy punished her before by making her clean.

”Thanks...” Her hoarse and dry voice sounded, making Liu Shiyi pause briefly. Su Jiameng raised her hand to take the water bottle and tipped her head back, pouring it down her throat, feeling truly refreshed and carefree. She couldn’t help but want to let out a sound of relief.

After drinking, she felt a warm current spreading in her abdomen, the comforting sensation dispelling much of the severe pain in her limbs. The bottle contained surprisingly high-priced special oral nutrient liquid, which was indeed surprising.
