Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 676: Chapter 475: The Rebellious Period of Golden Dragon Terry Villegas

Ever since he had a few divine artifacts and demi-god artifacts, Hill had almost forgotten he was a natural warlock, fighting more than his actual support role.

He lightly waved his left hand, and the Crystal Flower Ring on it glowed faintly, repelling evil. Purification spells and curse removal spells were cast one after another.

Although the Golden Dragon had high magic resistance, Hill, who was at level 22, could completely suppress this resistance with his spells.

The Golden Dragon’s body suddenly moved. He spread his wings and swayed left and right on the bed, as if trying to escape from a dream.

Hill thought for a moment and cast several spells to enhance willpower and spiritual power.

Then he continued to cast purification spells without stopping.

The Golden Dragon’s eyes snapped open, and his wings flapped violently, tearing the furniture in the master bedroom into pieces, including the bed beneath him.

Even the walls developed cracks.

He turned his head to look at Hill, his large eyes reflecting the image of Hill in his robe: ”Ah, alive!”

Seeing the Golden Dragon, who seemed to intend to sleep again in peace, Hill’s eyes twitched. He gave a powerful slap to the dragon’s high-pitched rump right in front of him.

”Ow~ roar!” The little dragon jumped up in pain, crashing through Hill’s roof.

”Why so fierce?” he looked at Hill with grievances, ”Aren’t you a kind follower of nature?”

No wonder he dared to sleep directly; if Hill were truly a nature mage of this world, he indeed wouldn’t harm a Northern Golden Dragon who liked nature.

But now that he was safe, didn’t he plan to notify his parents?

He was still underage! How worried would his family be about him!

Especially those protective giant dragons; his parents might be searching the whole world for him now!

Only the Silvermoon City with its puzzle lock could sever the dragon’s bloodline-based tracking.

”Who cursed you? Who are your parents? How should I notify them? Is it suitable to go to Elaströ?” Hill tried to control his emotions, reminding himself that this little dragon was clearly in his most rebellious phase.

Generally, kids this age were the most troublesome, not just giant dragons, but even Aurelio at that time. They all wanted to do the same things adults did, without considering whether they had the capability.

The Golden Dragon was no different; he used his broad wings to cover his head, trying to indicate that he heard nothing and just wanted to sleep.

Although he nearly never woke up, he now didn’t even care about the shards of wood all over the ground.

Hill sighed softly; he couldn’t manage other dragons’ children.

”Go to the courtyard for a while, have something to eat.” Hill softened his tone, ”I need to rebuild the building. Aren’t you hungry?”

The little Golden Dragon quickly pushed open the window, landed on the open space in the courtyard, and curiously looked at the obviously increased group of oak trees in the courtyard.

Seeing his eager eyes, Hill knew this guy was indeed starving.

He also landed on the ground, bringing out a long table piled with various meats.

Watching the little dragon straighten his wings, pressing his head against the table, and start devouring fiercely, Hill could only shake his head and turn to disassemble the main house into earth, metal blocks, and wood.

The Golden Dragon turned his body curiously so he could keep eating while watching Hill’s actions.

Hill glanced at the little dragon who seemed to plan on staying, then built a concave-shaped house with a wave of his hand.

The buildings in the middle and on the right were also three stories high, but Hill built them hollow.

Only the left side was built as a normal three-story residence.

The right building even had a roof that could be directly opened, allowing the Golden Dragon to enter from the air.

Hill actually made it a split-level design; although there were no floors separated, a soft dragon nest was built in mid-air.

There were stairs from the dragon nest to the lower floor, where a hall provided everything a normal person would need for daily living, including a washroom.

Hill knew this dragon must know the transformation spell, and he likely had an artifact that enhanced disguise. Otherwise, Elaströ would have known about an uninvited guest in Silvermoon City.

If this little guy really got into trouble in Silvermoon City, even if the perpetrator had nothing to do with Silvermoon, his Golden Dragon parents would blame them.

He clearly had high bloodline inheritance; both his parents must be ancient dragons.

Besides, this Golden Dragon was very sensitive to magic. He surely knew the effects of Hill’s forest array, otherwise, he wouldn’t be so bold as to stay in the courtyard in his dragon form.

Hill really suspected this guy was the child of the Northern Dragon Queen. The dragon’s lineage truly had strong continuity.

And their temperaments were quite similar.

Though Hill didn’t know why he wanted to stay here, he couldn’t possibly drive a juvenile dragon away, knowing what would happen this year.

Not to mention, someone already had an eye on him; Hill couldn’t be that cruel.

So he built this house; if the kid really went berserk, just let him sleep.

Complete hibernation was actually one way to solve dragon madness.

”Can there be more food? I’m both tired and hungry, just want to eat and sleep.” A big head stretched to Hill’s side, the golden eyes innocent and childlike.

”Even if you don’t want to go home, you have to tell me your name, right?” Hill shook his head and sighed as he refilled the table with food.

This time, he included many fruits that could soothe the spirit.

”Terry Villegas.” The little dragon hesitated for a few seconds before speaking, ”You can call me Terry. Can I stay with you for a while?

I don’t want to go home, but it’s indeed too dangerous outside. The enemy I encountered this time might be from the Dragon Worship Church. I suspected they were targeting me.

If you hadn’t broken the curse for me, I might have turned into a dragon lich.

I would rather die.”

Terry’s tone was calm but extremely determined. For Golden Dragons who loved nature, turning into a dragon lich was indeed very cruel.

Maybe adult dragons would consider the pros and cons and choose to compromise, but rebellious young dragons might opt for mutual destruction.

Hill patted his neck: ”I’ve prepared a room for you, Terry. But you have to tell me if your parents can sense if you’re safe.”

Terry stiffly nodded.

”Then you can stay.” Hill agreed straightforwardly, ”However, in 1, or 2 years I might leave here for the Undead Swamp since I bought land there.”

Terry tilted his head and asked: ”Is it separated, or does it have Sword Mountain like that?”

Hill hesitated for a moment: ”The Sword Mountain Range is indeed within my territory.”

”Then can I go with you?” The little dragon tilted his head, letting Hill see his melancholy left face.

Hill sighed: ”You can come if you want. Just don’t let your parents tear me apart then!”

Terry flapped his wings and mumbled before continuing to eat: ”They won’t care about me. If they come, I’ll help you beat them up!

Besides, you might not lose.

Oh, by the way, you didn’t tell me your name yet! I already told you~”

”Just call me Hill!” Hill controlled the urge to sigh, turned, and released Marsha and a large number of puppets to clean up the room.

As for Agleya, she absolutely couldn’t appear in Silvermoon City. She was a pure divine avatar; the divine power fluctuation would surely trigger the puzzle lock.

But Agleya was busy combining water spells and had no mind to come out and watch the commotion. Li Si had already sent her to a corner.

Freezing lands and thunderstorms were too harmful to plants.

When Hill built Terry’s dragon nest, he used a type of softwood that dragons liked, not only soft but full of peaceful vibes—very suitable for hibernation.

Hill thought for a moment and engraved isolation arrays on that half, converting one side of the dragon nest’s wall into floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

He carved banishment and purification arrays on the windows.

If Terry really got influenced, his first reaction would undoubtedly be to crash into the glass.

The activated arrays would be enough to restore some sanity.

Then Hill would use a powerful sleep spell; this method could only be used when necessary, as the young dragon was still growing, and mind-altering spells were not good.

If all else failed, he’d use the Luxury Mansion Art, sending Terry into dimensional space to sleep. That should solve the problem.

Hill flipped through his Magic Book, suddenly knowing what spell to choose for the latest Chapter.

He had never considered it before, but being so particular about his residence, Hill suddenly got excited about owning a fixed dimensional space mansion.

A half-plane was rare to find, but the Luxury Mansion Art was right there!

Terry ate two more tables of food before flying to the open-roof right-side building with a full stomach.

Before flying up, he carefully touched Hill’s face with his mouth: ”Thank you, Hill. You really are a good person. We’re friends now, right? It’s hard to find dragons of my age at my place.”

Hill nodded.

Watching the figure fly into the dragon nest, Hill became dazed for a moment.

Terry seemed to regard Hill as a powerful peer, which was why he was so friendly.

Did he sense Hill’s bloodline?

Based on the true adulthood time of the Earth Bear, Hill indeed hadn’t reached it. But because his strength surpassed his age, his tribe already considered him an adult bear.

Marsha gently floated over, her core box placed by Hill in the center hub of the forest array, impossible to find unless the Father of Oak intervened.

”Sir, should the servant quarters be converted into guest rooms under cover of night?” Marsha suggested with a smile, ”And add a reception hall in front of the main house. What if Mr. Lynn visits?”

Hill nodded and, according to Marsha’s plan, built the guest rooms and reception hall at an obtuse angle, so that neither side could see the main residence nestled in the garden’s rear half.

In the large space from the gate to the triangular building, Hill placed a perpetual fountain.

The water sprayed up to five meters, enough to block the view of the gate.

Hill handed over the internal decoration to Marsha and now needed to return to his study.
