My Youth Began With Him

It was rare for Su Yu to see Huo Mian in such a good mood.

Just because she chatted with him about the flowers in the garden.

It was summer, and Su Yu’s private garden was blooming with flowers.

But most of them were roses. At first glance, it looked like a rose garden.

The borders were filled with purple lavender.

“Do you like them? I’ll go down and pluck some for you.”

Su Yu realized that Huo Mian liked flowers. In fact, all girls liked flowers.

“No, I just think that roses are naturally thorny and can easily hurt people. Furthermore, the blooming period is so short… It’s not easy for them to survive in the north, unlike the south where it’s spring all year round.”

“That makes sense. What do you think I should plant more of?” Su Yu asked humbly.

“The lavender is pretty good. It helps with sleeping, but you didn’t plant many of them. I’m afraid they have become just decorations.”

After Huo Mian said this, Su Yu smiled awkwardly.

As a man, how would he know how to plant flowers? Back then, when he was cleaning up the garden, he had also casually sent some gardeners over.

He told them to just do as they please.

In the end, the 100-square-meter garden became a mess with all kinds of flowers. It was too dazzling to the eyes.

“Okay, then I’ll plant them all with lavenders,” Su Yu said.

Huo Mian shook her head. “You… are so impatient. I’m not finished yet… I think you can grow some lavender at the side and sunflowers in the middle.”

Su Yu slapped his forehead as realization dawned on him.

“I get it, Mian… you’re the best… Sunflowers have a great meaning. They are supposed to face the sun forever, right? That’s so motivating… I want to plant a huge patch of them. I’ll replace all these tomorrow.”

“No, I mean, sunflowers are edible.”

Su Yu: “…”

“Hahaha, I was just joking… You actually took it seriously. This is a joke from the movie ‘Goodbye Mr. Loser’.”

Upon hearing the words’ Goodbye Mr. Loser’, Su Yu’s mood immediately soared.

He just needed the official song from that moment in the movie once.

It was the song Su Yu sang to Huo Mian during their anniversary celebration…

When he found out that Huo Mian and Qin Chu had gotten married, he was devastated.

He really wanted another chance to take care of Mian…

However, he knew that was impossible. With Huo Mian’s personality, she would never stop loving until her loved one dies.

Therefore, at the time, he thought that he didn’t have a chance. Even if Qin Chu died, Huo Mian wouldn’t marry him.

Now that he had transmigrated to a parallel universe, he finally saw a glimmer of hope.

He was deep in love…

The breeze outside was just right and the sun was warm.

Su Yu sang “Just One Time” by Huo Mian’s ear.

Huo Mian was a little shocked; she found Su Yu’s voice very familiar. Then, she thought that his singing was good and it sounded very sexy.

Then, she propped her face up with her hands and looked at the flowers outside, listening to Su Yu sing.

Wei Liao secretly picked up his phone and took a photo of the scene.

Wei Liao’s photography skills were pretty good, so with the natural lighting, he took a beautiful photo of Su Yu and Huo Mian’s side profile.

“What’s going on, Old Wei… Why are these two singing?”

Tang Chuan nagged softly…

“How would I know? Maybe they hit it off at first sight.” Wei Liao smiled.

“Boss, Miss Huo, it’s time to eat…”

After Su Yu was done cooking, An cleaned up the mess.

He washed the cutlery and laid it on the table.

The food cooked in the hotpot was ready for eating.

The seafood had just been cooked and was still steaming hot.

Accompanied with Su Yu’s European renovation style, it felt extremely grand.

Su Yu pulled out a chair for Huo Mian like a gentleman.

“Mian, sit here.”

“I don’t think that’s a good idea. This is the owner’s seat.” Huo Mian felt like the seat was too outstanding and felt inappropriate.

“It’s okay, Miss Huo. You’ll be the mistress of this house from now on anyway,” An said honestly.

Then, the entire room fell silent…
