My Youth Began With Him

Su Yu was surprised to see Nie Lingxuan so soon.

It seemed that the decision made in the meeting room that day had already been conveyed.

Su Yu also knew that such an abnormal move might cause a stir in the company.

Those scheming actresses would also think that Su Yu liked Nie Lingxuan.

However, Su Yu still felt like he had let her down in the other world.

That was why he wanted to give Nie Lingxuan a chance. Besides, she had the capability.

“Ah, I’ve seen your file. You’ve been in the company for quite some time now. You’ve been working as an extra for the past few days. It’s been tough on you, and your acting skills are pretty good. The company has always been supporting newbies. Of course, we should also give the old employees a chance. Work hard.”

“President Su, I won’t let you down.”

Nie Lingxuan was a little excited as she looked at Su Yu with sparkling eyes.

Su Yu didn’t want to give her any thoughts and hurt her.

So, he should make her give up on this idea earlier.

Therefore, Su Yu smiled. “Go ahead, I’m going to have dinner with my fiancée.”

“Fiancée?” Nie Lingxuan was taken aback by this term. Was he going to marry Zhao Qingya?

Before she could finish, Su Yu left with An.

Nie Lingxuan felt that a pretentious b*tch like Zhao Qingya couldn’t match up to Su Yu.

However, Nie Lingxuan only admired Su Yu at the moment; she didn’t love him as much as she did in the other world.

After Su Yu left, Nie Lingxuan went to the publicity department.

“Miss Nie.”

“What’s Zhao Qingya’s afternoon schedule? I was thinking if she’s free, we could have a meal together.”

The staff smiled and believed her words.

She quickly searched through all the artists’ schedules on her computer.

In Zhao Qingya’s column, it was written—She was going to leave at one in the afternoon on the plane to promote a new movie, then she would stay at a hotel elsewhere at night.

“Oh, what a coincidence. Miss Zhao should be almost at the airport. Her flight is at one o’clock.”

“It’s fine. Since she’s not around, then what about Jian Tong?” Nie Lingxuan asked with a smile.

“Miss Jian… She has an interview at the TV station at 1:30 PM… I think the people from the TV station picked her up in advance and invited her to dinner.”

“Okay, thank you. I’ll eat alone then.”

Nie Lingxuan walked out of the publicity department with a smile. It wasn’t Jian Tong or Zhao Qingya.

So President Su’s fiancée… was someone else.

As long as it wasn’t from the company, she was happy for President Su.

She always felt that after becoming an artist, the word ‘pure’ no longer existed.

Although President Su occasionally had a bad temper, he was still a nice person. If he were to get married, she hoped that he would find a girl with a good personality.

Su Yu went to the press conference in the afternoon, and it was only three o’clock when he finished.

He drove An to the largest imported supermarket in the city center.

“Boss, are we buying something?” An was puzzled.

“Some groceries.”

“Are you buying groceries back to the old mansion?” An thought that he was going to buy some ingredients for Mrs. Su.

“No, I’ll go back to the villa after I buy them.”

“Who will be cooking?” An was scared out of his wits.

Although he knew how to cook, his culinary skills were only learned from the military unit. They were not authentic at all.

He was afraid of wasting the ingredients and getting scolded by President Su.

“Of course it’s me,” Su Yu said proudly.

“Um… Boss, I’ve been with you for a few years, but I’ve never seen you cook. Don’t blow up the kitchen, okay? Why don’t we go outside and eat? I’ll treat you.”

“You must be rich now, are you going to treat me? Can we go to the Returning Tide Restaurant? We will eat abalone, sea cucumber, lobster, until you go bankrupt…” Su Yu looked at An, amused.
