My Youth Began With Him

Zhao Qingya vaguely felt that Su Yu was different from before.

In the past, Su Yu had a bad temper and could explode at any time.

Nowadays, he rarely lost his temper and often smiled. He was much more cheerful.

However, she felt that he had become even more scheming. She felt that he had a story to tell.

“President Su…” Zhao Qingya cried as she tried to fight for her last chance.

“If you don’t court death, you won’t die… If you continue to work in the company and earn money, I won’t forget to schedule you for activities. I won’t care who you eat with or spend the night with… but if you meddle in other people’s business, don’t blame me for being ruthless. I’m sure you’ll understand.”

Su Yu looked at his watch; it was time.

Then, Su Yu pushed open the door and left…

Zhao Qingya was stunned. She realized that President Su was definitely a smart person.

Zhao Qingya got up and left the president’s office, thinking about what Su Yu had said as she walked.

Obviously, President Su was going to replace her… President Su had changed a lot of female partners over the past few years.

However, they all heard that Su Yu wasn’t interested in sleeping with anyone. He was just putting on an act, going to the nightclub or having dinner together.

When Zhao Qingya first came to the company, she was still a nobody.

At that time, her name wasn’t Zhao Qingya, but Zhao Xiaoying.

Later on, the manager felt that the name was too tacky, so she changed it to a classy and more elegant one.

Then, she had dinner with Su Yu a few times and it was hyped up by the media. That was how she became famous in recent years.

She also naively thought that she and Su Yu could progress further.

Even if she didn’t become his wife, she could be his mistress and give birth to a child in the future.

With Su Yu’s wealth and status, she would be able to live comfortably for the rest of her life. But now, it seemed like she was overthinking things.

Su Yu really didn’t have any feelings for her…

Was it because he took a liking towards Jian Tong?

Right now, the only people in the company who could compare to her were Jian Tong and Mo Xue’er, who had ended her contract and left.

However, Su Yu also warned her that he didn’t care what she wanted to do.

She couldn’t interfere with Su Yu’s business anymore, or else she would lose her job.

Zhao Qingya didn’t look too good. She lowered her head and went downstairs.

Inside the conference room.

After finishing his work, Su Yu glanced at the executive director.

“Director Zhang… arrange more schedules for Nie Lingxuan in the coming days. There are some good variety shows that she can attend.”

“Nie Lingxuan?” As Nie Lingxuan wasn’t famous yet, the director couldn’t remember her.

“Oh, President Su, are you talking about the little girl from our second department who’s been here for a few years?”

“Mhm.” Su Yu nodded.

“But she doesn’t have much talent, and she’s not as pretty as Miss Jian and Miss Zhao…” That person didn’t seem to think highly of this girl.

“Do as I say, okay?”

Su Yu looked around with a dark expression.

“Yes, President Su.”

No one dared to argue anymore. Su Yu stood up, opened the door, and left.

An hurriedly said on behalf of his boss, “Meeting adjourned.”

Everyone walked out nervously.

“Huh? Why did President Su start supporting that newbie all of a sudden? Wasn’t he in a relationship with Miss Zhao?”

“I don’t know. Maybe President Su wants to replace her.”

“Has he taken a liking to Nie Lingxuan? I’ve never heard of her interacting with President Su… I feel like ever since she joined the company, she’s only been playing roles as extras… She’s even receiving a 3,000 yuan monthly pay from the company as well while taking up some small roles and commercial performances.”

“We can’t guess what the boss is thinking either, so let’s just do as he says.”

Zhao Qingya was already gone when Su Yu returned to his office.

He turned on the stereo and played some light music.

Then, he impatiently took out his phone and sent Huo Mian a WeChat message, “What time are you getting off work?”

“What’s up?” Huo Mian immediately replied.

“Yeah, something big happened.” Su Yu pretended to be serious.

“What is it? Just tell me,” Huo Mian said in a business-like tone.
