My Youth Began With Him

“When I was at the office today, my leg was hurting a little.”

“And then?” Huo Mian furrowed her brows.

“I don’t know if it’s a relapse… I’ve injured it again… I want you to help me check.”

“If you want to do a follow-up, come to the hospital tomorrow morning. The experts are here, and the hospital has the equipment,” Huo Mian recommended.

“I don’t want to go to the hospital anymore. I have a phobia… After all, I’ve stayed there for so long… so I want you to take a look for me.”

“I’m just a nurse.”

“But you went to a medical university and majored in gynecology. You’re not a simple nurse. I believe you.”

Su Yu was obviously sucking up to her.

When Huo Mian saw this message, she was so angry that she laughed.

He was really resourceful to know that she had studied gynecology.

The reason why she became a nurse was that she did not have connections and did not pay any bribes.

It was basically impossible to become a doctor directly, especially a doctor from a hospital with three A grades.

That was why she planned to slowly build up her qualifications.

Previously at the First Hospital, she was at the Gynecology Department.

However, because she had fallen out with Ning Zhiyuan, she was transferred to South Side, which wasn’t easy to work at. Moreover, she was transferred to another department, so her salary wasn’t too high. It was really hard for her.

“Su Yu, you said yourself that I studied gynecology… You’re not pregnant, how can I do a check-up for you?”

“My leg is just a little injured.”

“Then you should go to the Orthopedics Department,” Huo Mian emphasized.

Su Yu continued to act shamelessly, “Then… why don’t you look at my legs using your gynecology knowledge?”

“I’m impressed.” Huo Mian didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

“Alright, alright. I believe in your capability.”

“Fine.” In the end, Huo Mian gave in.

“What time are you getting off work? I’ll pick you up.”

“Don’t. Your car is recognized all over the world. I’d better take the bus myself.”

“There’s no bus near my house. Why don’t you call a cab?”

“That should be expensive, right?” Huo Mian’s first reaction was that rich people liked to live in the suburbs. The scenery there was good and the air was good.

“It should be around 60 yuan. I’ll give you a red packet and reimburse you.”

Su Yu immediately sent over a 200 yuan red packet and reimbursed the return travel expenses.

“Forget it, just count me unlucky. I’ll just pay for a ride… I don’t want this little bit of money. I’ll earn a big sum out of you in the future.”

Huo Mian tactfully refused to accept the red packet. She also joked a little to prevent making it awkward.

Su Yu liked her high EQ. If she wasn’t so angry, she wouldn’t embarrass him so easily.

It wasn’t that Huo Mian was kind, but rather, she felt that one shouldn’t be too harsh on others.

After all, one wouldn’t know if they had offended a gentleman or a villain.

Therefore, Mian’s high EQ was what initially attracted Su Yu’s attention.

Even though she and Su Yu often bickered with each other, everyone liked Huo Mian’s manners.

Although she came from a commoner’s family, she was still very carefree and confident.

People with confidence had a natural charisma.

“Sure, you can pay the fare yourself. I’ll treat you to a feast. I will personally cook. How about that?”

“You know how to cook?” Huo Mian was in disbelief.

In the other world, Su Yu didn’t have many chances to eat alone with Huo Mian.

Even when Huo Mian moved in with the Su Family when she was pregnant, she stayed at the old mansion.

Su Yu didn’t have many chances to spend time with her alone.

Therefore, this time, Su Yu suddenly thought of making her a meal.

After speaking, Su Yu was a little nervous; he was afraid that Mian would reject him. After all, she was a person who did not like strangers.
