My Youth Began With Him

“Leave it there first. I’m not hungry, I shall not be eating it first.”

Su Yu was determined to look for Huo Mian, so he had been standing by the window an hour earlier.

“Boss, it won’t taste good when it gets cold.”

“It’s okay. I’m not afraid of it turning cold.”

An: “…”

“By the way, have you packed the items?”

“Yeah.”

“Send them to Mian after her morning meeting.”

.

“Okay.” An nodded.

Just then, Su Yu saw Huo Mian coming to work in casual clothes.

Maybe it was because of the warm weather, but she wore only a white short-sleeved shirt and a pair of jeans and flats.

The bag she was carrying was not branded, but the style was not bad. It was not ostentatious but elegant.

Huo Mian walked in with her colleagues with a simple ponytail.

They were talking and laughing. Su Yu was watching them intently, afraid that he would miss a scene.

The military binoculars were extremely powerful. When it was fully magnified, it could even see the tiny mole on Huo Mian’s face.

Su Yu didn’t put down his binoculars until Huo Mian walked into the building.

Then, he entered the washroom to wash his hands before coming out to eat.

For some reason, his appetite had improved over the past few days.

The steamed buns, soup, and pickled vegetables that An bought were all delicious.

They were from a breakfast restaurant that Su Yu frequented.

After Huo Mian finished her morning meeting, she returned to the on-call booth. She was on day duty for the day.

An walked over with the packed breakfast.

“Miss Huo.”

Upon seeing An, Huo Mian nodded politely. “Hello.”

“My boss asked me to give this to you… Please enjoy.”

After that, An put down the things and ran away. He was afraid that if Miss Huo rejected him, he wouldn’t be able to report to his boss.

“Hey…” Huo Mian wanted to say something, but it was too late.

She opened the food packet and saw shrimp dumplings that had skin as clear as crystal, a box of fresh dumplings, two hot sesame seed cakes, some side dishes, and a bowl of soup.

This was really a luxurious breakfast…

The nurse beside her stole a glance.

“Aiyo, isn’t this the most famous breakfast restaurant? It’s very expensive. Last time, my boyfriend and I went to eat it… It wasn’t even this much, but it cost more than 300 yuan. Your food probably cost more than 500 yuan at least.”

Huo Mian rubbed her forehead awkwardly.

“Mian, wasn’t that Young Master Su’s driver? Young Master Su gave you these, right? Oh my god… Young Master Su likes you?”

Huo Mian didn’t know what to do with her colleagues’ shock.

Wasn’t Su Yu being a little too concerned about her?

When the nurse said that, a few people who were chatting nearby also heard it and ran over.

They surrounded Huo Mian and the breakfast.

“Sister Mian, what’s going on?”

“Sister Mian, Young Master Su really gave these to you…”

“Young Master Su treats you really well…”

“Yeah, Sister Mian, if you become successful, don’t forget about us…”

Huo Mian coughed…

“Calm down, everyone. It’s not what you think… I didn’t know Su Yu before, but because he’s such a pampered person… and had high expectations for injections, I had to go. Plus, he had a fever yesterday, and I was the one who gave him the medication… I think he was just thanking me… He’s rich, that’s all… He might even donate 3,000 or 5,000 yuan to beggars on the streets… So, in his eyes, this breakfast isn’t even comparable to his golden retriever’s food,” Huo Mian explained awkwardly.

“Then we want to eat like golden retrievers too… Mian, I heard that if Young Master Su likes someone, they’re going to make a fortune… You have to seize the opportunity, I have faith in you.”

After explaining so much, everyone still didn’t believe her. Huo Mian was exhausted from all the talk about her relationship with Su Yu.

She was not in the mood for breakfast, so she shared it with everyone.

After working for a while, Huo Mian went to Su Yu’s room at 10 am in her white coat.

“Su Yu… I have something to tell you.”
