My Youth Began With Him

“No, I’m not yet in a relationship…”

“You aren’t? What do you mean?” Mrs. Su felt like her son was implying something.

“I haven’t won over her heart yet… When the day comes, I’ll bring her home for you to see.”

“Don’t tell me she’s from the entertainment industry again. Is she a female artist from your company?” Mrs. Su was a little worried.

“No, no, definitely not,” Su Yu denied without hesitation.

“Then…”

“Gosh… Mom, I’m not fooling around this time. I’m serious. If she is willing, I even want to get married… and have kids… Life is short… I want to enjoy it in time.”

“Yu, you’ve finally thought things through.”

Mrs. Su was elated to hear her son say that.

In the past, it was useless no matter who said it.

Mrs. Su had always thought that her son was celibate and that he was very unlikely to get married and have children.

Now that he had said that, Mrs. Su immediately saw hope.

“Okay, okay, please stop nagging. Mom, I’m a little tired… See you tomorrow. Oh, right… I want to eat your dumplings.”

“With seafood filling, right?” Mrs. Su smiled gently.

“Yes. Please prepare more of my favorite dishes. I must eat a great meal.”

“Alright. Mom will definitely prepare them for you. Rest well.”

After hanging up, Su Yu felt sleepy…

Then, he slowly drifted into his dreams…

This time, it was indeed a dream.

Because the people in the dream could not see him, nor communicate with him.

He watched the scenes replay as though he was watching a movie alone…

Master Wu gathered everyone together, saying that after they entered the incubus, there were still some things that had to be settled. They needed to do some rituals to get rid of some bad luck.

He even brought everyone to Jiangnan Town, where the Su family lived in seclusion.

Grandpa Su had already retired by then. He was playing chess and drinking tea every day, but the Su Family never forgot about Su Yu.

After Master Wu used some unknown method, everyone fell asleep instantly.

When they woke up… everyone had become different.

Everyone happily gathered for a meal to drink and eat.

Pudding and Little Bean sat in Grandpa Su’s arms while Little Bean playfully stroked his beard.

A smile that hadn’t appeared in a long time also appeared on Mrs. Su’s face…

Huo Mian was carrying her baby and leaned into Qin Chu’s arms.

During dinner, the baby cried, and Qin Chu quickly carried him to the garden.

Everything seemed so harmonious…

Su Yu finally understood that his wish had come true.

Everyone in that world had forgotten about him.

Actually, it didn’t matter to others. It was mainly the people related to him.

The Su Family and Huo Mian probably were the ones who suffered the most.

What Huo Mian was feeling was more of guilt…

Back then, when Pudding asked her that question, she smiled without saying anything.

Actually, she was indirectly admitting that she would have liked Su Yu.

1

That was because she had always loved Su Yu in a way that was beyond kinship.

But towards Mr. Qin, it was love between a man and a woman.

Therefore, Su Yu was finally at ease.

Master Wu had already fulfilled his last wish.

While everyone gathered happily.

Master Wu carried a jar of aged wine to a remote corner.

He came to a cherry tree behind the Su family mansion.

“Yu… I did what you asked me to do… Everyone in this world will forget about you… but I can’t… I want to leave behind my only memory as proof that you’ve been in this world… So, Yu, you have to be happy in the future, you must be happy.”

After saying that, Master Wu took a big gulp of wine.

Su Yu noticed that his master’s eyes were a little red, as if he had been crying…
