My Youth Began With Him

Qin Chu had expected that their journey would be full of dangers; he became extra careful after the professor’s call.

The professor knew Lu Yan’s abilities more than anyone else, but he had told them it was a dangerous journey.

So, Qin Chu wasn’t surprised no matter what he encountered.

He was ready to deal with anything coming his way, just as Mian used to say.

To rescue his wife and Su Yu, Qin Chu had no choice but to charge forward.

Instinctively, he knew this big fellow wasn’t easy to handle.

Qin Chu was agile, and his six feet height was an advantage for him. But this big fellow was at least 7 feet 2 inches tall and was very brawny.

If he got punched by this small giant, he’d never get up again.

Qin Chu was cautious from the very beginning.

As the big guy walked forward, the ground shook with a banging sound for each step he took.

At Qin Chu’s order, his subordinates didn’t dare to make a move without his permission.

They watched the fight anxiously.

“That fellow looks like a monster. So tall and big, he doesn’t look like a human being…” One of them mumbled.

“Yeah. President Qin’s going to have a tough battle. Keep alert. The boss didn’t bring us here for tea. We must keep him safe even if we have to pay with our lives.”

“Don’t worry, guys. Our President Qin is very good; maybe he’ll win. Didn’t that guy say he’d let us pass if President Qin defeats him?”

They decided to wait and see.

Qin Chu beckoned at the big dumb guy challengingly.

The monster charged at him in anger and punched towards Qin Chu’s head.

Qin Chu had thought the big guy’s movements would be slow due to his huge size, but to his surprise, the big monster moved and punched with great speed.

This battle was… tough.

The big monster attacked in fury; everyone who had watched the Incredible Hulk would know how horrible this kind of furious destructive force was.

Qin Chu ducked the punches calmly, trying to find out the pattern of the monster’s moves.

But the monster attacked tirelessly without a pause, giving Qin Chu no time to take a breath. After five minutes, Qin Chu began to pant.

Leila watched the combat on the monitor screen with a smile.

“That’s all he can do? Gongor is an energetic guy… If Qin Chu keeps dodging, he’ll get exhausted and be stomped into a meat pie by Gongor.”

Leila was right. If Qin Chu continued to dodge, he’d lose.

Qin Chu had realized it himself, so in the eighth minute of the fight, he found an opportunity and extended out his leg, trying to trip the big monster.

Unfortunately, even though his leg made the contact, the monster didn’t fall.

The monster was so strong that he bumped Qin Chu to the ground.

Then the monster lifted his foot and stepped towards Qin Chu’s chest with vicious force.

“Watch out, President Qin.”

Alarmed, Qin Chu’s subordinates almost dashed up to help him.

Fortunately, Qin Chu reacted quickly and rolled to one side, dodging the vicious foot.

He stood up quickly…

The whole process lasted only three seconds, which showed Qin Chu’s stunningly quick reflexes. He owed it to his professor who gave him the special brain power training and development when he studied at Harvard Medical School.

If he was another person, Qin Chu would have been stomped to death by the monster.

Leila chuckled as she watched the scene on the monitor screen.

“Do you want to place bets on how long he’ll last…?” Leila seemed to be in a great mood. She loved watching life-and-death fights between strong fighters.
