Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1549: Chapter 582: Xu Nuo’s ”Surprise”!

Xu Nuo originally thought that Zhang Jingdong would likely not let her off easily, but she didn’t expect him to come at her with such a severe punishment.

She stared straight at Zhang Jingdong, ”You... are you sure?”

Zhang Jingdong said cheerfully, ”Of course, I’m sure. I’ve even prepared the gemstone necklace!”

As he spoke, he gave his right hand a light shake, and suddenly there was indeed a sapphire necklace in his hand!

Moreover, judging by its quality, it completely outshines the ”Heart of the Ocean” that Rose wore in Titanic.

After all, the one in the movie was a fake prop, and Zhang Jingdong’s is a Bulgari treasure, so both in design and luster, it appears much more valuable.

Xu Nuo was clearly not expecting him to pull this off, and she was instantly stunned!

And she was already prepared to accept defeat gracefully, so because of his gesture, her original grievances were greatly alleviated.

It’s not that she covets the necklace; she was just suddenly struck by how romantic he was being.

After all, she majored in art, so she has a particular fondness for that scene in Titanic.

Moreover, she even had some inexplicable anticipation for Zhang Jingdong’s painting skills.

So after quickly steeling herself, she quietly nodded, ”...Okay.”

Seeing her agree, Zhang Jingdong immediately stood up and came over to her, ”Let me put it on for you.”

Xu Nuo had felt relieved a moment ago, but now she felt a bit nervous.

She pouted slightly and then lifted her hair.

Zhang Jingdong leaned over and helped her put on the necklace.

He took a step back, looked at her, and said naturally, ”Hm! It suits you well! Just admit that my taste is impressive, right?”

Qin Siyuan, who was beside them, felt a slight pang of envy, but considering Zhang Jingdong had also given her a gift before, she quickly felt at ease.

Then she helped Zhang Jingdong by saying, ”Tsk tsk, Boss Zhang, while you might be boasting a little, I have to say this necklace is indeed one in a million, and it obviously costs a fortune!”

Zhang Jingdong stared intently at Xu Nuo, ”Price signifies sincerity, right? A gift for a girlfriend shouldn’t be stingy.”

At this point, worrying Xu Nuo might hesitate to accept the gift, he changed the subject, ”Alright, Xu Nuo, shall we start now?”

Xu Nuo was just grappling with whether to accept Zhang Jingdong’s gift as even though they seemed to have confirmed their relationship, this necklace must be worth at least tens of thousands or even more, making it extremely precious.

But hearing his words, she couldn’t help but start thinking about the real challenge she was facing.

This punishment involved recreating that scene!

That scene, although classic, presented incredible demands on her!

But she also knew there was no way out now.

After all, she had to accept defeat gracefully, and Zhang Jingdong had already put the necklace on her.

So she hesitated for a few more seconds, then decided to just go for it: Fine, considering he’s leaving Guangzhou tomorrow...

Then she surprisingly went ahead and did it!

Zhang Jingdong held back his excitement and pretended to casually start painting.

He was fine when painting the face and shoulders, but when he got to the rest, he could no longer contain himself.

And Xu Nuo noticed this too.

To be honest, when Zhang Jingdong was pretending to be calm earlier, she thought he was quite the gentleman, but in her heart, there was a trace of inexplicable disappointment.

After all, given what she was doing, he was still so composed.

But now...

She couldn’t help but show a trace of indescribable happiness at the corner of her mouth.

Zhang Jingdong couldn’t quite describe that happiness either, but he captured it with his brush.

Half an hour later, Zhang Jingdong put down his brush, carefully examined his work, and said, ”Alright, come take a look.”

Xu Nuo let out a long sigh of relief, swiftly cleaned up, and came over.

Although she felt extremely shy, with just one glance, she was utterly amazed by Zhang Jingdong’s painting skills!

”This... did you... did you also study painting professionally?”

Zhang Jingdong feigned innocence, ”Do you think my painting skills compare to you professionals?”

Xu Nuo took another careful look at Zhang Jingdong’s work, then exclaimed, ”Honestly, your skills far exceed even our professional teachers’!”

Zhang Jingdong teased, ”You’re being a bit like a lover fantasizing about Fan Li. Though I know my painting isn’t bad, you shouldn’t exaggerate so much!”

Xu Nuo gave him a mild glare, ”...You’re doing this on purpose, right? I’m not exaggerating; you must have studied painting professionally and kept it a secret just to show off now!”

Seeing her speak so plainly, Zhang Jingdong felt he could no longer keep pretending, ”Alright then, since you’ve caught on, I should confess. I actually studied painting professionally for several years when I was a kid.”

As he said this, he looked at his painting again and then fixed his gaze on Xu Nuo, ”Tsk tsk, I have to say, your beautiful legs already look stunning, and when I was painting them just now, I found they fit the golden ratio perfectly, really amazing!”

Receiving the compliment, Xu Nuo felt a bit happy inside but said, ”...Nasty! Okay, let’s continue the game!”

Zhang Jingdong immediately said, ”You still dare to continue the game now? I say we call it a night, or else you might keep losing and end up losing everything!”
