Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1533: Chapter 577: With the Two of Them at Qian Gui KTV

Half an hour later, Zhang Jingdong and the others arrived at Qian Gui KTV.

Xu Nuo was clearly not used to such places, as even the front desk didn’t know her, and her expression showed visible nervousness.

Even though she’s a rich girl, she’s still just a first-year college student, a pure 19-year-old girl, and this kind of place is usually frequented by more worldly people.

Fortunately, it was just after 2 PM, and there was only one group ahead of them.

After waiting for less than 3 minutes, they went to the front desk, booked a small room, and followed the attendant to the private room.

Zhang Jingdong picked up the microphone and said, ”Honestly, when you guys said you’ve hardly been to KTV before, I didn’t really believe it, but now I do. I understand why you’re all so bad at singing!”

”But in my opinion, you’re not elementary students, middle school students, or high school students anymore. You’re college students now, genuine adults, so it’s time for you to visit adult entertainment venues like this.”

”Secondly, it’s about time you practiced your singing. After all, you’re all so good-looking, but can’t sing, which is kind of lacking in style!”

”So, this afternoon I’ll teach you how to sing, and then some proper adult drinking games, how about that?”

Qi Siyuan suddenly looked excited, ”Sure!”

Zhang Jingdong then looked at Xu Nuo, ”Xu Nuo, you’re my girlfriend now, can you be more eager to respond to me than Qi Siyuan?”

Xu Nuo gave him a bashful yet delighted glance but then nodded, ”...Okay.”

Zhang Jingdong continued, ”To prove to you that I have enough skill to teach you singing, I’ll sing a few songs with sixty percent of my power so you can see that my singing skills are not inferior to professional singers.”

Xu Nuo and Qi Siyuan exchanged a glance, thinking Zhang Jingdong was a bit cocky, yet they were filled with anticipation.

Zhang Jingdong went to the song selection panel, made some selections, then returned to the sofa, casually wrapping his arm around Xu Nuo’s fragrant shoulders.

Soon, Zhang Yusheng’s face and the song title ”I Expect” appeared on the big screen.

As the prelude ended, Zhang Jingdong began his performance:

I expect one day I will return

Return to my first love

Return to the innocence’s radiance

...

Though Xu Nuo and Qi Siyuan felt Zhang Jingdong’s singing was decent from the first few lines, since they didn’t sing well themselves, they couldn’t tell if he was truly good.

Mainly because the first part of the song was all about emotion, with a very low tune, almost like a poetry recitation.

Later on, they even started thinking about how to react so Zhang Jingdong wouldn’t realize they didn’t find his singing that impressive.

At that moment, Zhang Jingdong suddenly hit a high note: ”Say goodbye, Say goodbye, probing back and forth, roundabout...”

In that instant, they were both amazed by Zhang Jingdong!

While they both breathed a sigh of relief, their eyes were filled with genuine admiration.

That high note from Zhang Jingdong was so clean and crisp, it was on par with those of professional singers.

After several more high notes from Zhang Jingdong, they started to sense the deep feelings and unique atmosphere encapsulated in the song, becoming immersed in it.

When Zhang Jingdong finished his song, they both couldn’t help but applaud him.

Qi Siyuan praised with delight, ”Boss Zhang, you’re simply a genius! Who would’ve thought you could sing this well!”

”Congratulations Host for receiving genuine praise from the target person, rewarded with 200,000 yuan!”

While Xu Nuo was partly due to Zhang Jingdong’s earlier reminder and partly due to being deeply moved by his performance.

She also sincerely praised, ”Zhang... Jingdong, you weren’t bragging, your singing ability is really strong!”

”Congratulations Host for receiving genuine praise from the target person, rewarded with 200,000 yuan!”

Zhang Jingdong felt secretly pleased inside, but on the surface, he said arrogantly, ”This is just the beginning, the real show is about to start!”

Just then, Jacky Cheung’s face and the song title ”Stealing Heart” appeared on the big screen.

If ”I Expect” was a gentle and moving masterpiece, then ”Stealing Heart” is its soul-stirring counterpart.

As the prelude ended, Zhang Jingdong deliberately closed his eyes and started to sing:

Loneliness slowly occupies my heart

The long nights grow colder and cold

Memories grow lonelier and lonely

...

Thanks to the buildup from ”I Expect,” Qi Siyuan and Xu Nuo felt the high difficulty of Zhang Jingdong’s singing from the start and soon got lost in it.

When Zhang Jingdong sang, ”Who silently stole my heart, unable to tell night from dawn...”, Qi Siyuan got so moved her eyes turned red.

She quietly glanced at Xu Nuo and found tears flowing down Xu Nuo’s face.

To be honest, she had always felt her feelings for Zhang Jingdong were deeper than Xu Nuo’s, considering she got into a relationship with him first.

But at this moment, she realized that Xu Nuo must have fallen for Zhang Jingdong too.

When Zhang Jingdong finished the song, Qi Siyuan and Xu Nuo gave an even more enthusiastic applause than before.
