Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1519: Chapter 572: Moved Her with the Details!

Qi Siyuan immediately chimed in, ”Hey... that’s a bit biased, don’t you think? You’re letting her get away with just a kiss?”

Xu Nuo gave Zhang Jingdong a sidelong glance: ”You... do you know what you’re saying?”

Zhang Jingdong spread his hands: ”Then you can sing.”

”I... I already told you just now that I can’t sing.”

Zhang Jingdong stared straight at Xu Nuo: ”I told you earlier that the punishment in this game is going to be much harder than the one we wagered on before.”

”If you say you can’t sing and skip the punishment, then you’re really not playing fair, are you?”

”You... I... fine, I’ll sing.”

Zhang Jingdong intentionally grinned with satisfaction: ”Tsk tsk, you say you can’t sing, but now one of you sings and one dances, that’s just perfect!”

Zhang Jingdong leaned back on the sofa: ”Alright, you two can start now.”

Qi Siyuan said, ”Nuonuo, let him have his moment, we’ll definitely win later!”

Xu Nuo nodded, then hesitantly said, ”I can only sing a part of ’Love is Just a Word’, is that okay?”

Zhang Jingdong was a bit surprised: ”That’s totally fine!”

Xu Nuo prepared a bit and then began to sing:

Part the dark clouds in the sky

As beautiful as blue velvet

I climb mountains for you

But have no intention to see the scenery

...

Zhang Jingdong knew right after the first line why she said she couldn’t sing, because she was off-key from the very start.

It seems that fate is fair to most people, giving her so much but not the gift of singing.

Then he realized that setting this punishment for her was like punishing himself, because he couldn’t laugh or make any facial expressions, so he had to endure it.

Luckily, Qi Siyuan started dancing along, so he shifted his focus to appreciating Qi Siyuan’s graceful figure.

Soon the two completed their punishment, and Zhang Jingdong clapped his hands: ”Hmm! Not bad at all!”

But Xu Nuo knew her own singing was off, so instead of feeling encouraged by Zhang Jingdong’s praise, she shot him a resentful look.

Zhang Jingdong then said deliberately, ”Alright, to prevent you guys from losing too terribly, let’s stop here for today. We can continue when you feel confident again.”

Qi Siyuan immediately said, ”How can this be? We just finished the punishment, and you’re calling it quits? That’s not fair!”

”Honest to heaven, I’m really thinking of your own good. You’ve already lost twice today, and the punishments were pretty harsh. If we keep going, you’ll definitely lose badly!”

”Who are you looking down on? Are you sure you can always beat us?”

”We lost before because you always set the games. Now it’s our turn to do that, and you won’t have it easy!”

At this point, Qi Siyuan turned to glance at Xu Nuo and continued, ”We have to play another round, to give us a chance to win one back. We also need to punish you!”

Zhang Jingdong turned to Xu Nuo: ”What do you think?”

Though Xu Nuo wasn’t as intense as Qi Siyuan, she didn’t want to end on a loss either.

Mainly because Zhang Jingdong was too smug earlier, so she wanted to win one back too.

Thus, she gathered her courage and said, ”I’ll listen to Yuanyuan.”

Seeing her fall into the trap, Zhang Jingdong said, ”Alright, since you’ve both made up your minds, I’ll play another round with you. But as this is an additional round, the punishment will be harsher than the last one, so you’d better think it over!”

Qi Siyuan said straightforwardly, ”Who are you trying to scare? Whatever the punishment, we’re not afraid!”

”Likewise, since you said it yourself, if we win, the punishment we set for you will also be particularly harsh, and you must accept it!”

Zhang Jingdong extended his hand: ”In that case, bring it on. Even if I lose, and you ask me to transfer a billion Huaxia Coins to you, I’ll definitely do it!”

Qi Siyuan teased, ”Don’t worry, we don’t want your money, but the punishment we’ll set will be harsher than this one!”

”Is that so? Alright, I’ll be waiting, so what game do we play next?”

Qi Siyuan quickly thought and said, ”We’ll play the most traditional game, where cheating’s impossible—Rock, Paper, Scissors. What do you say, Boss Zhang, no problem, right?”

Zhang Jingdong pretended to be a bit hesitant: ”Isn’t this game a little bit too simple?”

Qi Siyuan pouted: ”As they say, the simpler, the fairer. What, does this game not showcase your strengths, are you scared?”

”Just kidding, I’ve never been afraid of playing games. At worst, I’ll just do the punishment, I’m absolutely a good sport!”

”Are we doing one punishment per round, or several?”

Qi Siyuan glanced at Xu Nuo again, then said, ”One punishment per round. It’s getting late, so let’s just play two rounds.”

Zhang Jingdong: ”Alright, I agree!”

Though Xu Nuo was a bit surprised by the ”one punishment per round,” she relaxed after hearing ”only two rounds” and even felt a rare thrill.

So she nodded in agreement.
