Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1534: Chapter 577: With the Two of Them at Qian Gui KTV...

Qi Siyuan, with tears in her eyes, said with a smile, ”Boss Zhang, your song is truly powerful and moving! I used to see people on TV crying while listening to songs, and I always thought they were acting. But now I understand, when a singer sings well enough, the audience is genuinely moved.”

”Boss Zhang, I now think your singing ability is not just amazing, I think you could become a professional singer yourself, and you might even become more popular than Xiao Fei!”

At this point, Xu Nuo chimed in, ”Jingdong, I think Yuanyuan is absolutely right. Your singing skills are indeed better than many professional singers. If you decide to become a professional singer in the future, I’ll definitely come to your concert. I’ve never been to any singer’s concert before.”

Zhang Jingdong chuckled and sighed, ”Here I am doing well as the boss of this entertainment company, and suddenly you’re demoting me. Do you think this is good?”

”But, Xu Nuo’s suggestion isn’t bad at all. Although I won’t become a professional singer, I might seriously consider releasing a few songs and holding a few concerts in the future.”

”When that time comes, you must not go back on your word; you all have to be there at the concert to support me!”

Upon hearing this, Qi Siyuan and Xu Nuo immediately nodded.

”Definitely!”

”We’ll for sure be there!”

Seeing their enthusiasm, Zhang Jingdong seized the opportunity to say, ”And, you can’t just come for free. I have a small request for you now. If you agree, then I’ll release songs and hold concerts; if you don’t, then let’s forget I said anything about being a singer.”

Xu Nuo immediately said, ”Go ahead, what’s the request? We’ll definitely agree!”

Qi Siyuan quickly echoed, ”Yes, no matter what the request is, we can agree to it!”

With a serious face, Zhang Jingdong said, ”You said it yourselves, so my request is that at that time, you must come on stage and sing a song with me. How about that? Do you agree to this request?”

Hearing this, Xu Nuo and Qi Siyuan glanced at each other, both looking a bit troubled.

Qi Siyuan bit her lip, ”But we... we’re just average singers. There’s no way we could match your performance then.”

Zhang Jingdong shrugged, ”Are you a goldfish? Did you forget what I said half an hour ago?”

”I said I would teach you how to sing. Do you think I was just showing off when I sang to you for half the day? I was trying to tell you that I have the ability to teach you singing, alright?”

Xu Nuo hesitantly asked, ”But, are you sure we can actually learn how to sing?”

Zhang Jingdong nodded directly, ”Absolutely. First, your natural vocal talents are actually not bad, especially you, as a voice actor. Your breath control and voice are definitely not a problem.”

Then he turned to Qi Siyuan, ”And last night I also heard you sing. Your biggest issues are pitch accuracy and breath control, which can all be improved with training.”

”Moreover, your teacher here is not only good at singing but also top-notch in teaching others how to sing. I’m a hundred percent confident that I can get you to professional singer levels within a year.”

Although Xu Nuo and Qi Siyuan found this rather unbelievable, Zhang Jingdong did not seem to be joking at all. They both soon looked pleased because, after all, who doesn’t have a dream of becoming a professional singer?

Xu Nuo, unusually a bit excited, said, ”Alright, since you’ve said so, we’ll definitely learn well with you!”

Qi Siyuan immediately agreed, ”To be honest, when I was young, my dream was to become a singer. But after one music class, when some boys in my class said I sang poorly, I stopped liking singing. And all these years, I’ve always thought I’m just average at singing.”

”Now that the boss of professional singers has said so, I trust you and will surely give it my all and learn well from you!”

”Great! Since you’ve all made up your minds, let’s officially start the lessons now!”

Over the next two hours, Zhang Jingdong fully demonstrated his rich teaching experience, giving them targeted guidance.

Xu Nuo had fewer issues, so her progress was noticeably faster.

While Qi Siyuan had more significant issues, her progress was also more substantial.

At this point, Zhang Jingdong raised his hand to check the time and then said, ”Alright, due to time constraints, we’ll wrap up our lessons here for today.”

”Now let’s see how much you’ve learned. Each of you will sing a song. Xu Nuo, you go first.”

Xu Nuo nodded, then operated the song selection device before returning to Zhang Jingdong’s side.

Soon, Lu Guanting’s face and the song title ”But I hope people will last long” appeared on the big screen.

This is Xu Nuo’s favorite Cantonese song, but she has never sung it in front of others before.

Because of this, even though her singing had improved under Zhang Jingdong’s guidance, she was visibly very nervous at the moment.

At that moment, she suddenly felt someone holding her hand, and she instinctively looked at Zhang Jingdong.

Zhang Jingdong mouthed to her, ”Believe in yourself, you can do it!”
