Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

The journey of life and dreams is long.

The path is full of wind and frost hitting your face.

In the mortal world, how many directions can beautiful dreams take?

Finding a naive dream at the center of love.

The road follows people aimlessly.

...

This time, Zhang Jingdong was not only flanked by Lin Shishi and Xiao Fei, two school beauties he had adored in both lifetimes.

Moreover, he noticed Lin Shishi’s mouth gradually showing a faint smile, becoming more and more natural.

So he completely opened his heart and gave a one hundred percent Leslie Cheung performance, perfectly replicating the song.

Lin Shishi had always loved Zhang Jingdong singing Cantonese songs, and once again, she was deeply captivated by him.

The last bit of jealousy she felt about Zhang Jingdong and Xiao Fei disappeared completely.

Meanwhile, Xiao Fei was also deeply moved by Zhang Jingdong’s singing.

Furthermore, she felt that Lin Shishi had already silently approved of her situation with Zhang Jingdong, so she sighed in relief.

Her smile became more natural and more radiant.

Soon after Zhang Jingdong finished another song, the big private room fell silent for a moment, followed by enthusiastic applause and cheers from both Xiao Fei and Lin Shishi.

”Boss is truly the boss, I as a little employee admit defeat!”

”Zhang Jingdong, I must say, your singing skills have improved again, you’ve got quite the Leslie style!”

Zhang Jingdong then gently released their fragrant shoulders and smiled proudly: ”What can I do? Facing you two, I naturally have to give it my all!”

Then the three sang a little more, and Xiao Fei casually said: ”Getting a bit tired of singing, Boss Zhang, how about we play a game?”

Zhang Jingdong’s interest was piqued: ”Sure, go ahead, what game?”

”We’re both novices here, so you decide, but it has to be a game where you can’t cheat, and it can’t be something skill-based like darts.”

Zhang Jingdong glanced at Lin Shishi, thought for a moment, and said: ”Alright then, let’s play a number guessing game.”

”The way to play this is simple. One person writes down a number from 0 to 9, and the other two guess. Everyone gets two chances. If guessed correctly, the winner can punish the other two. If neither guesses correctly, the person who wrote the number can punish them. Is this okay?”

Lin Shishi and Xiao Fei nodded eagerly.

”Sure.”

”Agreed.”

”Alright, let’s begin. I’ll start...”

Zhang Jingdong said, taking out his phone, opened the text message screen to Lin Shishi, and entered a number.

Then said, ”I’ve written down the number, you two guess!”

Xiao Fei bit her lip: ”I’ll go first. As far as I know, Boss Zhang, your favorite number is 6, so my guess is... 9!”

Zhang Jingdong shook his head and laughed: ”Sorry, wrong guess!”

”You know, in any guessing game, you should stick to your first thought, otherwise you’ll never get the right answer.”

Xiao Fei blinked rapidly: ”Then... is it 6!”

Zhang Jingdong burst into laughter: ”Sorry, still wrong.”

Xiao Fei immediately rolled her eyes at Zhang Jingdong: ”You actually misled me!”

”Haha, when did I ever say I wouldn’t mislead you? This game’s all about psychological misdirection, you can’t win otherwise!”

”You... hmph... Shishi, you have to guess well and avenge me!”

Lin Shishi sighed: ”He’s so cunning... I’ll do my best.”

Lin Shishi carefully observed Zhang Jingdong’s expression, then said: ”I guess... it’s 3!”

Zhang Jingdong was instantly shocked: ”Is not... wow, the two of us really have a special connection!”

Saying this, he showed the phone screen to both of them, and indeed, the number was 3!

Xiao Fei was immediately delighted: ”Shishi, you do know him better!”

Lin Shishi shyly and a little happily shook her head: ”Honestly, I was just guessing.”

Zhang Jingdong shrugged: ”Alright, I lost fair and square, you can punish us now.”

Lin Shishi hesitated: ”I... how do I punish you?”

”You can either make each of us drink a bottle, or ask us a truth question, or... however you want to punish us, we’ll comply.”

Lin Shishi paused for a moment, then looked at Xiao Fei: ”Feifei, what punishment would you prefer?”

Xiao Fei thought quickly and said: ”Ask me a truth question then?”

Lin Shishi calmly said: ”Alright then... did you date anyone in high school?”

Xiao Fei laughed and shook her head: ”Nope... haha, I’m done!”

Lin Shishi then turned to Zhang Jingdong.

”What punishment do you want?”

Zhang Jingdong replied directly: ”I’ll drink.”

”Okay, then drink up.”

Zhang Jingdong swiftly opened a new bottle of wine and downed it in one go.

Xiao Fei then said: ”My turn now...”

Imitating Zhang Jingdong, she also took out her phone and entered a number.

”All set. You two can guess now!”

Zhang Jingdong extended a hand towards Lin Shishi: ”Ladies first, go ahead!”

Lin Shishi smiled sweetly and said: ”I guess... 6!”

Xiao Fei smugly waved her hand: ”Sorry, wrong! Even though you and Boss Zhang have that connection, us women, our minds aren’t easy to guess!”

Lin Shishi smirked playfully: ”Then... I’ll guess 9.”

”Haha, still wrong! Shishi, you lost!”
