Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Xiao Fei was taken aback when Zhang Jingdong dared to say that about her: ”Boss Zhang, is that how you talk? What’s wrong with me?”

”What’s wrong with you?” Zhang Jingdong smirked: ”Xiao Fei, let’s not discuss anything else, the fact that you would say bad things about me right in front of my girlfriend, do you think I can trust you to be friends with my girlfriend?”

Xiao Fei rolled her eyes at Zhang Jingdong: ”Tsk... That’s precisely why I want to be friends with my sister Shishi.”

”By having the chance to interact with you privately, I can see your true nature more clearly, so my sister Shishi won’t be easily fooled by you.”

Zhang Jingdong sighed: ”I always wondered why my progress with Lin Shishi was so slow, turns out it was you, the elder, contributing to the situation.”

”Alright, I understand now, Xiao Fei. I’m telling you as your boss now, you’re not going home this summer. You’ll have so many gigs that you won’t even have time to sleep.”

Xiao Fei was initially stunned, then adorably shrugged: ”Sorry, Boss Zhang, you’re my boss, but I only listen to our boss lady now.”

With that, she directly grabbed Lin Shishi’s slender hands: ”Boss lady, say something to bring down his arrogant attitude!”

Lin Shishi looked at the two, then teased: ”Don’t worry, he’s just scaring you. You’re practically the best artist at their company right now. He wouldn’t bear to make you so exhausted.”

Xiao Fei immediately felt like she had a Death Exemption Token, and with a bit of smugness, she stared at Zhang Jingdong: ”Boss Zhang, sorry, you heard our boss lady just spoke. If you dare to make things difficult for me, I’ll complain to our boss lady anytime.”

Zhang Jingdong glanced at Lin Shishi, smiling and shaking his head: ”Alright, since you’ve found a backer, in light of our boss lady, let’s pretend nothing happened today.”

”Okay, hurry up and eat. After you’re done, go wherever is cool and take a break; don’t be the third wheel here.”

Xiao Fei chirped: ”Boss Zhang, that’s not quite right. Although you’re Shishi’s boyfriend, when it comes to knowing her, I’ve known Shishi for almost two years now, and when we first chatted, you were probably still preparing for the college entrance exams.”

Zhang Jingdong shrugged: ”So what? There’s a phrase ’late bloomers’, although I met Lin Shishi later than you, since we’ve known each other, our relationship has surged forward. In her heart, I’m definitely more important than you now.”

”You...”

Xiao Fei was initially puffed up with anger but soon thought of something: ”But you’re still just Shishi’s boyfriend. Have you ever heard the saying, to truly win over your girlfriend, you first have to win over her best friend, otherwise you might be dumped in a second.”

”And as Shishi’s best sister, not only are you not flattering me, you’re talking to me like this. Zhang Jingdong, it seems you’re not interested in taking things further with my sister Shishi?”

At this point, Zhang Jingdong realized she was definitely not planning to leave, and he didn’t want to show her too little face in front of Lin Shishi.

So he relented: ”Okay, what you said makes some sense, fine, today you can do whatever you want as long as Lin Shishi agrees, I’m okay with anything.”

Xiao Fei saw Zhang Jingdong finally backing down and immediately flashed a victor’s smile: ”Smart move!”

Turning to Lin Shishi: ”Shishi, didn’t you say a couple of days ago that you haven’t heard me sing in a while? After dinner, let’s go to the KTV, since you’re still on campus before the holidays, I’ll sing a few songs for you.”

Lin Shishi glanced at Zhang Jingdong, hesitating: ”It’s the end-of-term exams soon; aren’t you going to review your coursework well now?”

With ease, Xiao Fei replied: ”Shishi, don’t worry, I’ve already finished revising. I’ve been recording an album and reviewing all my subjects since last month.”

”Also, don’t forget, while my grades aren’t as terrifying as yours, I’ve scored above 80 in all subjects during each past exam, and I’ve never failed a subject.”

She noticed Zhang Jingdong was about to speak, so she quickly added: ”Also, Boss Zhang, you don’t need to worry at all, firstly, he’s even smarter than me, secondly, when I reported to his office last month, I saw study books on his desk. With his intelligence, he should have no problem now.”

Zhang Jingdong saw Xiao Fei performing so convincingly and figured Lin Shishi was now completely convinced.

So he said: ”Alright, since you’ve said so much, I’ll take a hit and accompany you to sing tonight.”

Lin Shishi was initially worried Zhang Jingdong would be unhappy if his plans weren’t fulfilled. Seeing him agree now, she breathed a slight sigh of relief.

She gave him a look and then said: ”Alright, I indeed haven’t heard you sing in a long time. Tonight, I must fully appreciate the talent of our country’s most popular female singer.”

Xiao Fei was thrilled with Lin Shishi’s agreement and said: ”Haha, I knew Shishi really values me as her sister!”

After saying that, she also secretly gave Zhang Jingdong a slightly smug, slightly giddy, and somewhat expectant look.

Then the three of them continued to eat and chat together. After finishing their meal, they went downstairs amid surprised glances from others, left the cafeteria, and got into Zhang Jingdong’s car.
