Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 699: Chapter 301: She Looks Stunning at the Modeling Competition...

”And the education of true elite schools is as strict as that of high schools in our country, so they can learn real knowledge and become the elite of Beautiful Country society in the future.”

Zhang Jingdong said meaningfully: ”According to what you’re saying, it seems like Beautiful Country’s happy education is actually a policy to keep people ignorant. Their purpose is to make the lower-class people dumber and dumber, so they can accept the rule of the elite generation after generation.”

Lin Qingci was obviously caught off guard by the high-dimensional thinking, and after a moment’s pause, she nodded in agreement: ”Exactly, that should be their ultimate goal.”

Zhang Jingdong continued: ”Then, the second question, are the governors and legislators there really that clean and honest, without getting involved in any kind of such affairs?”

Lin Qingci shook her head with a smile: ”They might be even worse. They don’t take money secretly because they take it openly, legally and legitimately.”

Zhang Jingdong looked curious: ”What do you mean? Give an example?”

Lin Qingci thought for a moment and then said: ”For example, previously a state in Beautiful Country had an enforcement agency that enacted a law, stating that the enforcement agency has the right to seize a citizen’s illegal property just based on suspicion.”

”For instance, if they merely suspect you of robbing or stealing, they can go to the other’s house and confiscate their cash, jewelry, and even real estate.”

”The most interesting thing is that Beautiful Country has always had a very famous law, which is that a citizen’s private property is sacred and inviolable.”

Zhang Jingdong laughed immediately: ”I knew it. When they have power in their hands, how could they ever be honest!”

The two ate and chatted for a while.

At this moment, Zhang Jingdong put down his chopsticks and casually asked: ”What’s your dream?”

Although this sentence was mocked by Wang Toutiao a lot in later years, at this time, it was still quite passionate, spirited, and quite touching.

Lin Qingci’s eyes obviously lit up, and then she said with some excitement: ”I didn’t have a clear dream before, but now... I want to create a successful enterprise.”

”Then what is your definition of a successful enterprise? Listing on Nasdaq?”

Lin Qingci’s expression unconsciously showed a bit of shyness, but quickly turned to determination: ”Yes!”

Zhang Jingdong said freely: ”I think that can only prove our enterprise’s success in terms of money; it doesn’t represent the real success of our enterprise.”

”Because I believe a truly successful enterprise should have a sense of social responsibility. While making money, we should also try to create more jobs and more tax revenues for society. Our ultimate goal should be to earn society’s respect.”

It was the first time Lin Qingci heard a company owner speak these words.

But she could tell Zhang Jingdong wasn’t joking, so she felt his uniqueness once again.

Moreover, she found this goal very noble and full of love, because she also believes that only enterprises like this can be considered truly great.

So she gladly said: ”I think you’re right. I completely agree, and in the future, we will strive to build such an enterprise.”

Zhang Jingdong then raised his glass with heroism: ”Come, let’s drink to our shared dreams!”

Lin Qingci was instantly ignited by Zhang Jingdong’s words and then, excitedly and joyfully, she raised her wine glass: ”Alright, cheers!”

The two clinked their glasses and each drank up.

After drinking, Zhang Jingdong looked deeply at Lin Qingci.

Lin Qingci met Zhang Jingdong’s gaze for a few seconds, and her pretty face, initially a bit flushed due to excitement, somehow instantly turned completely red.

Twenty minutes later, the two left the restaurant.

When they arrived at the car, there were cars parked all around, making the reversing space very small.

Zhang Jingdong seized the opportunity and said: ”Can you back it out? Why don’t I try?”

Lin Qingci glanced around, and although somewhat reluctant, she had to nod: ”...Okay, I’ll help guide you.”

”You just stand there and enjoy my driving skills.”

”...Okay, I want to see if you can back it out in one go in such conditions!”

She said and tossed the car keys to Zhang Jingdong, then went to the side.

Zhang Jingdong caught the keys, smiled and shook his head, then got into the car by himself.

He first carefully sniffed the fragrance inside the car, then started it, and with neat operations, directly backed the car out.

Lin Qingci witnessed the whole process and was once again amazed by Zhang Jingdong’s car skills.

Zhang Jingdong at this time lowered the car window: ”Get in, I’ll drive us back, let you have a good look at my race-level driving skills!”

Lin Qingci hesitated slightly, thinking firstly that he was already in her driver’s seat and driving her car, which couldn’t be changed now.

Secondly, she was really curious about his driving skills.

So she simply said: ”Alright.”

She then really got into the passenger seat.

Zhang Jingdong watched as Lin Qingci fastened her seatbelt and nodded his chin towards her: ”I suggest you also hold onto that handle.”

Lin Qingci blinked her beautiful eyes: ”Is it that exaggerated?”

Zhang Jingdong’s lips showed a trace of a mischievous smile, then with a flick start, the car directly flew out.

Upon merging onto the main road, Lin Qingci clutched the handle tightly.

Zhang Jingdong was pleased inside, then directly entered full throttle mode.

Along the way, Lin Qingci felt that Zhang Jingdong seemed to have brought a racing game to reality, various overtakes, various extreme maneuvers, yet the car remained stable throughout, without a hint of losing control.
