Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 341: Chapter 180: Handling the Three Women (Subscribe for a Big Chapter)

Qin Yu wanted to believe that Zhang Jingdong harbored no ill intentions towards her, but his gaze at that moment was just too obvious!

She hesitated for five seconds before finally standing up, both embarrassed and indignant saying, ”You... you actually peeped at me!”

Knowing there was no way to dodge the issue, Zhang Jingdong straightforwardly said, ”I didn’t peep at you...I was looking at you openly and honorably, and didn’t I already tell you the reason just now?”

”But...” Qin Yu grew anxious seeing Zhang Jingdong still not admitting it, ”Just now, that was certainly not the way a master looks at his apprentice. You...you deliberately made me do that and then... took advantage of me!”

Zhang Jingdong curled his lips: ”Alright, I admit I indeed looked at you. But I swear at the beginning it was indeed to see if your moves were correct, but later...”

”Mainly I didn’t expect your figure to be so good, so I got a bit... carried away!”

”You...”

Qin Yu was clearly not expecting Zhang Jingdong to suddenly tell the truth, so she was a bit at a loss for how to respond.

Essentially, this was just peeping; under such circumstances, she couldn’t really call him a pervert, especially since he had saved her today.

But she felt she couldn’t just let him off so easily either.

So, she changed the subject and said, ”Just now you were serious about taking me as your apprentice, now you’re acting like this, is this any way for a master to behave?”

Zhang Jingdong immediately understood she had forgiven him for peeping, as her current complaint was just to embarrass him a little.

Subsequently, he said with a thick skin: ”But I feel that as a master, you can’t always be so serious; that’s too stern. I advocate being both a mentor and a friend (meaning both a master and a boyfriend).”

(Of course, he did not say the words in parentheses.)

”Moreover, I’ve already hinted earlier, we are like the Ancient Tomb Sect from ’The Return of the Condor Heroes’, you must know the ending between Little Dragon Girl and Yang Guo, right?”

Qin Yu never expected Zhang Jingdong to be so direct, and angrily said, ”You’re... you’re going too far, I’m ignoring you!”

Having said that, she turned around and walked away.

Zhang Jingdong saw her reach the door and was about to actually open it, he then suddenly let out an ”ouch” and lay down on the bed.

Qin Yu immediately turned back with a panicked look and hurried over: ”What’s wrong with you? Is there something wrong with your wound? I’ll call the doctor...”

Zhang Jingdong waved his hand: ”No need, I did that on purpose... just wanted to stop you!”

”You...”

Qin Yu was once again defeated by his ”honesty”, but she just turned her head and didn’t leave.

Zhang Jingdong seized the opportunity and said: ”Alright, don’t be mad, it was just a joke.”

”Besides, I’m not the first one to sneak a glance at you, and certainly won’t be the last. Every time you go to the law firm or court, every man present definitely takes their chance to peek at you.”

Qin Yu really wanted to say ”But none of them has ever looked at me like you just did!”

But in the end, she held back because she thought that with this guy’s way of thinking, he would likely take it as a compliment, not as a disgrace.

So, she simply continued to ignore him.

Zhang Jingdong, seeing she was still not yielding, continued to up the ante: ”Alright, since I’ve seen it, as compensation, I will share with you the method behind the magic trick I just did. This is my specialty, something I never reveal to anyone.”

”Now letting you know as a compensation for my sneak peek just now, that should be acceptable, right?”

Without waiting for her to argue, Zhang Jingdong started demonstrating: ”Look, it’s actually like this...”

Initially, Qin Yu wanted to say ”How could that be the same?” so she didn’t turn her head.

However, as Zhang Jingdong genuinely began to explain, she couldn’t help but turn around.

There’s no helping it, that’s the curiosity of a top student!

And after Zhang Jingdong finished, Qin Yu no longer had the indignation from before, but a face full of astonishment: ”Even if you explain it, I won’t be able to learn it, your hands move too fast!”

Seeing that he had successfully diverted her attention, Zhang Jingdong then said: ”Fast? This is just the most basic sleight of hand magic. Do you want to see some real sleight of hand tricks?”

Qin Yu nodded directly: ”Mhm.”

Zhang Jingdong took a deck of playing cards from his bag.

He handed it to her: ”Pick any card.”

Qin Yu hesitated for a moment, then did as she was told.

”Give the card to me.”

Qin Yu did so again.

Zhang Jingdong took the card and glanced at it: ”Your card is the Five of Clubs, right?”

”Right.”

Zhang Jingdong then extended his hand holding the Five of Clubs towards Qin Yu, flipped it, and said, ”There’s nothing else in my hand besides this card, right?”

”...Right.”

”Watch my hand, don’t blink...”

With a slight flick, the Five of Clubs in Zhang Jingdong’s hand instantly turned into the Ace of Clubs!

Qin Yu looked on in disbelief: ”This... you’re too amazing!”

Without a blink, Zhang Jingdong flicked again and the Ace of Clubs turned into the Ace of Diamonds!

He didn’t stop; with another flick, it turned into the Ace of Spades, and with one more, the Ace of Hearts...

Zhang Jingdong showed Qin Yu ten or so cards in a row.

Finally, Qin Yu couldn’t help but say: ”Can... Can I check your hands?”

Zhang Jingdong pretended to be troubled: ”That’s a bit much of a request, isn’t it? Not to mention the difference between men and women, mainly, a magician’s hands contain nearly all their secrets. You can look, but we never let anyone touch...”

”But... since I’ve annoyed you just now, alright, then I’ll let you check, but I must declare firmly, just this once, so you better take the chance and check thoroughly!”
