Chapter 320: Chapter 173 Make Her Fall in Love Through Photography (Long Chapter, Subscription Requested)

”Bold photos?”

Yan Ning immediately gave Zhang Jingdong a sideways glance: ”Though I agreed to follow through on our bet, you can’t cross my boundaries.”

Zhang Jingdong curled his lip: ”Sometimes I really don’t understand. Many terms you women think of are even more over the top than us men, yet you always accuse us men of being lewd.”

”I just mentioned ’bold’ and your mind went straight to dirty stuff. Who really has less of a lower limit between us?”

”You...” Yan Ning obviously didn’t expect Zhang Jingdong to preemptively accuse her, she retorted indignantly: ”So what exactly do you mean by ’bold’?”

Zhang Jingdong said earnestly: ”In our photography field, ’bold’ usually refers to an unconventional style that shocks and appalls. Of course, it also means large scale in terms of scope.”

”But as a top photographer, I play with taste, I play with fun, understand?”

Yan Ning slightly frowned: ”That’s not exactly a nice term!”

Zhang Jingdong immediately laughed: ”You can even hear that ’fun’ isn’t a nice term, seems you know quite a bit!”

Seeing that Yan Ning was about to get angry again, he quickly changed the subject: ”Okay, let’s do it like this, just like how I asked you earlier, if you are not comfortable with the pose I suggest, just say it, and I’ll let you change it, okay?”

Yan Ning finally felt somewhat relieved: ”...Alright.”

Seeing her agreement, Zhang Jingdong felt secretly thrilled and then said: ”Now, go back to the window...”

Yan Ning did as instructed.

”Turn around.”

Yan Ning hesitated slightly, then did as instructed again.

”Slightly turn sideways... hold your arms, raise your head, stand tall, be confident, be natural...”

At this point, Yan Ning turned her head and glared at Zhang Jingdong, but eventually did as instructed.

Zhang Jingdong tried hard to hold back his laughter and pressed the shutter.

”Now keep your body still, then slowly turn your head, giving a small smile...”

Yan Ning continued to comply.

After Zhang Jingdong finished pressing the shutter, he looked at the photos and couldn’t help but praise: ”Not bad at all... I’ll show you once we’re done, come over now.”

Yan Ning tried her best to suppress various emotions in her heart, and walked over to the desk.

Zhang Jingdong then moved about three meters to the side, and then said: ”Now bend over with your left hand to grab a document from the desk.”

Yan Ning turned to do so but suddenly thought of something and immediately turned her head to stare at Zhang Jingdong: ”That’s a bit too much!”

Zhang Jingdong sighed: ”I’m actually being quite generous already. I took the photo from the side. If it were anyone else, I would definitely have to change the angle!”

”...Lewd!”

Yan Ning cursed bitterly, but then did as instructed once again.

After Zhang Jingdong finished taking the photo, he pretended to think for a while, and then said: ”Now sit in the chair, resume the demeanor of a director you usually have, the more domineering and decisive, the better!”

Yan Ning said annoyingly: ”What kind of language is that? I am not like that as a boss!”

Zhang Jingdong touched his nose: ”Well then, just be in whatever state you are when you usually work, this photo will just capture the real you.”

”The real me would never wear a cheongsam to work.”

”We’re going for a contrast here.”

Yan Ning sighed silently and then sat in the chair.

She casually picked up a document and instantly regained her usual composure and authority as a boss.

Zhang Jingdong couldn’t help but admire: ”Truly worthy of being a real boss, you just have the air of a boss sitting there.”

”Click...”

Another photo.

”The next one... you stand up and lean on the desk, pretend to contemplate the future strategy of the company...”

Yan Ning did as instructed again.

After finishing, Zhang Jingdong tentatively said: ”Now sit on the desk, a bit more unrestrainedly...”

Yan Ning, hearing this, sternly refused: ”I can’t do that!”

Seeing her firm stance, Zhang Jingdong thought for a moment and then said: ”Okay then, let’s just take a few group photos to wrap it up.”

Yan Ning instinctively thought of something, immediately waved her hands: ”I’m not taking a group photo with you!”

Zhang Jingdong smirked: ”Are you sure? If you don’t take a group photo with me, then I’ll let you experience what truly ’large-scale’ is!”

”You dare!”

Zhang Jingdong calmly replied: ”Yan Ning, ’large-scale’ is not about what others see, but about what the photos make people think, do you want to experience my skills in this area?”

Yan Ning weighed her options, then said: ”I’ll take a group photo with you, but you must not pull my hand, or touch me anywhere else!”

Zhang Jingdong casually agreed: ”Of course, I’m not really a lewd person, how could I possibly take advantage of you during the photo shoot!”

Yan Ning was still a bit uneasy, and confirmed again: ”You said it, you must keep your word!”

Zhang Jingdong earnestly replied: ”Honestly, the advantage I took during the dance earlier was quite enough, so rest assured, a satiated person will absolutely not steal food, that would be greedy, and I’m never that kind of person!”

Yan Ning, although she found his words problematic, he did promise, so she nodded: ”Alright, I’ll trust you one more time.”

Zhang Jingdong then said: ”The scene for the next photo is... you start off still sitting here, then I’ll suddenly appear beside you, startling you, caught off guard, a face full of surprise, we need to capture that specific moment, understand?”

Yan Ning was immediately bewildered: ”What... what kind of style is this? Are... are you sure?”

Zhang Jingdong mysterious: ”This is the legendary nonsensical style, particularly shocking, and a bit absurd. Later, you just exaggerate as much as you like, don’t care about appearances; after all, this photo will only be seen by the two of us!”
