I Am Scouted by Real Madrid

Chapter 249: Chapter 4: Winter Transfer Window, Chen’s Departure (3-Month Span) (3)

Schuster has already deemed Chen Zhong as a ”traitor,” a ”turncoat,” and is dissatisfied that the fans’ love for Chen Zhong surpasses their admiration for him, believing that he himself is the true ”king” who created everything.

In simple terms, Schuster has become inflated with pride.

Meanwhile, the higher-ups at Real Madrid are quite troubled by this matter.

Strictly speaking, Schuster is one of Calderon’s people, and since his team’s performance is still acceptable, having helped the team defend their title last season, Calderon, eyeing the hefty termination fee, ultimately decided to make Chen Zhong endure some grievances.

At the same time, he continues to be busy competing for votes, even contemplating engaging in underhanded tactics privately.

On the other hand, former president Florentino looked at Chen Zhong and muttered, ”Good kid, good kid!” as he glanced at his supporters around him.

Secretly, he made a decision in his heart.

After leaving Real Madrid, Florentino had been pondering his previous failures and has gradually found some answers.

Florentino wasn’t initially worried about the chaos at Real Madrid or the matters within the locker room.

Some grievances for Chen Zhong are bearable; after all, he’s only 17, still very young, and has plenty of time ahead.

However, what Schuster is currently doing and the short-sighted things Calderon is doing have already crossed Florentino’s bottom line.

Florentino has always dreamed of developing a youth academy, hoping to build a Real Madrid Youth Army.

Undoubtedly, Chen Zhong is the most outstanding youth academy player Real Madrid has had in recent years and is considered by Florentino as the future building block for Real Madrid.

But now!

Damn it!

You tell me!

You plan to waste my ”dream,” sideline him for a whole season without playing?

How many promising talents have withered away just because they didn’t get to play in crucial times?

In recent years, Calderon has wasted quite a few players, like Soldado...

For those, it might have been fine; at most, they were S or SR level, but this one is an SSR!

Diligent, sensible, with leadership qualities and a bright future, a ”Crown Prince” deeply loved by the fans!

Florentino also understood the grievances between the two—simply that Raul had not explicitly supported Schuster during transfers, and Schuster had taken many losses on transfer issues, while Raul visited Chen Zhong’s room once!!!!!

Plus, minor issues like Robinho giving Schuster a backstab.

But the way you’re acting now!

A true Madridista, a true Real Madrid supporter, would never agree!

Schuster’s words have affected Real Madrid’s state; time quickly moved into December, and in recent matches, Real Madrid won 1 and lost 2, significantly affecting their form.

Among them, the turbulence in the locker room was clearly a major reason.

Many players began to have opinions on Schuster’s behavior.

Following the standard procedure, Schuster should soon be dismissed, but some people thought that Real Madrid was not chaotic enough, and strangely, Calderon’s votes seemed to be in a relatively safe position publicly.

Thus, a bizarre proposal arose.

Transfer Chen Zhong out!

However, the transfer proposal was quickly dismissed.

Not even Calderon would agree to sell Chen Zhong now, as everyone knows, if Chen Zhong remains uninjured, he will become one of the world’s top players.

He possesses all the factors for success.

Exceptional football intellect, outstanding physical attributes, ample diligence, and excellent spirit attributes.

Although a buy-back clause can be included post-transfer, clearly, Calderon doesn’t want to take any risks; he would at most agree to a loan.

Not long after, a shocking piece of news turned the rather quiet winter transfer market hot again.

Real Madrid was going to ”sell” Chen Zhong!!!

Chen Zhong!

Chen Zhong!!

Just 16 years old, a super genius with double digits in goals and assists in a single season!

In the Premier League, there’s Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool...

In the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich, Dortmund...

In Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain, Monaco...

In Serie A, Juventus, Inter Milan, Milan...

If Real Madrid didn’t refuse to ”sell” the player to La Liga, it’s believed that teams like Barcelona and Atletico Madrid wouldn’t be stingy either.

But soon, Real Madrid issued a clarification.

They didn’t mean to sell Chen Zhong but intended to loan him out!

Upon this clarification from Real Madrid, clubs got even more excited.

The most enthusiastic of all was Milan!

The renowned Milan!

The Serie A giants Milan!

In the 08-09 season, most of their transfer market investments failed, with the high-priced signings not performing well. Their attempt to buy key players to revive Milan seemed to have failed.

Now, they urgently wanted to solve the team’s ”terrible” defense problem.

With their current defensive system and capability, Milan’s goals conceded this season might even set a historical record!

And now!

You’re telling me!

Chen Zhong, who transformed Real Madrid on defense last season, capable of playing center-back, midfielder, even striker, the super genius Chen Zhong, is available for loan???

To buy, Milan knew their competitiveness among the top clubs might not be enough.

But a loan!

We can, we absolutely can! No problem at all!

With interest from other clubs significantly waning, Milan stood out alone!

Soon, both clubs made an official announcement.

Real Madrid, No. 22, Chen Zhong, will join Milan on loan this winter window.

Domestically, the news that Chen Zhong ”joined” Milan already spread, adding another layer to his already ”hot” reputation; after all, Serie A used to dominate locally, with memories of Milan thriving still fresh.

Because number 22 in Milan was worn by Kaka, when they announced over there, Chen Zhong’s number was 25.
