Prodigal System in the Flourishing City

Chapter 1193: Chapter 1192: Your Ancestor

As Lu Xiaobu finished speaking, Zhang Meng appeared like a ghost in front of the two Japanese people: ”Our young master has something to discuss with you!”

”Lu Xiaobu, what are you up to?!” Ookata Hiroya’s face changed immediately, turning to stare at Lu Xiaobu: ”This has nothing to do with you!”

”Of course, your business with Mr. Zheng has nothing to do with me, but as everyone knows, I’m a nationalist, and there are some things I just can’t listen to.” Lu Xiaobu stretched lazily as he stood up, speaking indifferently.

”What do you want?!” Ookata Hiroya’s face was ugly; unless absolutely necessary, he really didn’t want to face this Lu Xiaobu.

He really hadn’t expected it to turn out like this.

According to their Japanese thinking, his business with Zheng Tianlai was theirs alone, and Lu Xiaobu shouldn’t interfere!

But clearly, he had overthought it!

”Simple, I’m not unreasonable. Just apologize and shout internationally twice, saying when it comes to the tea ceremony, the Heavenly Dynasty is Japan’s ancestor.” Lu Xiaobu picked at his ear as he spoke.

”You!” Ookata Hiroya’s face turned even worse.

Apologizing is nothing; they apologize every day, more than say hello.

But that international statement, he absolutely wouldn’t make it!

”What? What about me?” Lu Xiaobu sneered: ”Even your Emperor wouldn’t dare say anything in front of me, and you two think you’re on top of the world!”

Suddenly, Minami Kanai spoke up: ”Even if we issued such a statement, would anyone acknowledge it?! How arrogant! Does your Heavenly Dynasty even have anything called a tea ceremony anymore?!”

”How about this, if you can find a tea ceremony master in the Heavenly Dynasty better than the two of us, I’ll issue that statement!”

As he said this, his face was full of mockery!

He was resigned to it!

Right now, they were in control, and resisting was useless; better to stand firm!

Ookata Hiroya, hearing this, understood: ”That’s right, this is how we Japanese talk, being matter-of-fact. When we say you’re not good enough, it’s just factual. If you have someone better, of course, we’ll acknowledge them!”

After saying that, the two just stared at Lu Xiaobu.

The gauntlet had been thrown down, and if Lu Xiaobu resorted to force, he’d have to kill them!

Zheng Tianlai watched this scene, his mind in turmoil.

This had gotten out of hand!

He thought about it and prepared to dissuade Lu Xiaobu; regarding the tea ceremony, the Heavenly Dynasty indeed had declined somewhat, no question about it.

If there were really good tea masters in the Heavenly Dynasty, he wouldn’t be associating with the Japanese.

But there weren’t!

Otherwise, with his status, inviting a tea master wouldn’t be effortless, but certainly not too difficult!

Now, competing in this area wasn’t really necessary!

However.

”Fine, I’ll compete with you, but losing won’t just be about an apology, it’ll cost an arm each.” Lu Xiaobu said lightly.

He gave them the chance, but they didn’t cherish it, so too bad!

”You? Tea ceremony?” Ookata Hiroya suddenly laughed, his laughter filled with ridicule: ”Has the Heavenly Dynasty’s tea ceremony declined this far?!”

”Anyone dares to claim proficiency in the tea ceremony?!”

”Alright! Then today, let me show you what the tea ceremony really is!”

With that, the two Japanese didn’t leave and came back again.

Zheng Tianlai watched this scene, his brain throbbing with pain!

This Lu Xiaobu really was reckless enough!

The tea ceremony isn’t a fight?!

Many things can’t be learned on the spot!

Originally, letting them go would have sufficed, but they had to escalate it to this point?!

However, he also knew, at this moment, there was no room for further dissuasion!

He could only let nature take its course!

The chubby guy and Zheng Hai whispered to each other.

Chubby guy: ”Haizi, does the boss know tea ceremony?!”

Zheng Hai: ”Never heard of it!”

Chubby guy: ”Does the boss think that just making tea with water is the tea ceremony?!”

Zheng Hai: ”Maybe he does!”

Chubby guy: ”Wouldn’t that be embarrassing! Should we come up with something?!”

Zheng Hai: ”We’ve gotten to this point; what else can we do?!”

Chubby guy: ”Simple! We drug those two bastards, the addictive kind, then it’s in our control!”

Zheng Hai: ”You... you’re really ruthless!”

...

Everyone had mixed feelings, but as it stood, this contest viewed by everyone as a one-sided match was about to begin.

Of course, besides Lu Xiaobu thinking he’d crush them, everyone else thought it was the other way around!

Ookata Hiroya kneeled down, speaking to Zheng Tianlai: ”I came in a rush and didn’t bring good tea. Could Mr. Zheng please allow the Ghost Cave Iron Luo Han to enhance the glory of this contest?!”

They were still fixated on that Ghost Cave Iron Luo Han.

Zheng Tianlai saw Lu Xiaobu nod and sighed, bringing out the Ghost Cave Iron Luo Han he had obtained with great difficulty.

This was not those deceiving, fake master-made teas on the market.

He had witnessed the picking from the most precious tea trees, meticulously processed!

This was incredibly rare, extremely hard to produce, and just this tiny bit of leaves was worth millions!

If it weren’t so precious, he wouldn’t have given it to Lu Xiaobu, nor would these Japanese have come all the way to ask for it!

After all, it wasn’t something money alone could buy!

Zheng Tianlai gave a portion to Ookata Hiroya.

Ookata Hiroya washed his hands, taking the tea.

In a flash, the hostility on his face vanished completely, becoming incomparably serene: ”Good tea, truly good tea!”

At that moment, he entered a profound state.

Nothing in the world could influence him anymore; in his eyes, there was only tea!

He first lit a fire to boil water, pouring the boiling water into a purple sand pot, Public Service Cup, aroma cup, and tasting cup, cleansing the tea sets and warming them up.

Then, he placed the tea leaves into the teapot, filling it to exactly seven-tenths of its volume.

”This is called Dragon Enters the Palace!” Ookata Hiroya said as he worked.

Then he poured boiling water into the teapot.

”This is called Mountain Stream, which means pouring from high above, letting the boiling water forcefully impact the tea leaves.” Ookata Hiroya said calmly.

Next, he put a lid on the foam.

Ookata Hiroya: ”This is called Spring Breeze.”

After covering the teapot, he poured boiling water over it, performing a wash over the teapot.

Ookata Hiroya: ”This is called Washing the Celestial Features.”

The first pot of tea is used for washing and is not drunk; the boiling water is poured into the pot and poured out rapidly. The initial brewed tea is used to rinse the teacups, known as ”cup washing”.

Ookata Hiroya: ”Ruochen Bathing!”

By the second pot, it was ready for serving.

He poured the tea from the pot into the Public Service Cup, to ensure every person could taste tea of uniform color, aroma, and flavor.

Ookata Hiroya: ”Jade Liquid Returns to the Pot”

Finally, using tea tongs, he arranged the aroma cups and tasting cups in sets, placing them on the tea tray.

Only then was it ready to start drinking tea!

Lu Xiaobu was practically falling asleep—what an effort, by the time the tea was ready to drink, he was dying of thirst!
