Prodigal System in the Flourishing City

Chapter 1167: Chapter 1166: Braised Lion’s Head

Lu Xiaobu and Lin Feng followed Rashed as they wandered around the Dubai Palace.

Of course, the first thing Rashed introduced, and his favorite, was his territory.

To be honest, Lu Xiaobu didn’t think this was a place for human habitation.

Lions, tigers, and leopards roared in unison!

Lambos, Maseratis, Ferraris were all present!

This place was simply a combination of a zoo and a car show!

It seems this guy really loves these things!

Of course, his love for cars hasn’t changed to this day!

However, his love for animals has shifted from how good they look to how good they taste!

You could tell just by the look in his eyes, staring at the lions and tigers, his eyes even gleamed green as he whispered to Lin Feng and Lu Xiaobu:

”My two friends, isn’t there a dish in the Heavenly Dynasty called braised lion’s head?! How does that main lion look to you?! Although this is a white lion, it can be cooked, right!”

”Um...” Lin Feng and Lu Xiaobu’s mouths twitched.

Braised lion’s head?!

Braised real lion’s head?!

Brother, aren’t you getting a bit carried away?!

”What’s wrong? Did I say something wrong?! I heard you guys often eat braised lion’s head! Lions in the Heavenly Dynasty must be quite pitiful!” Rashed lamented inexplicably.

Lu Xiaobu’s eyes darted around at this time, revealing a mischievous smile: ”Actually, we also have a dish called Husband and Wife Lung Slices! It’s extremely delicious!”

”Husband and Wife Lung Slices?! Husband and wife?! Oh my, you eat people too?!” Rashed got so scared that his hair stood up!

”And there’s a specific requirement for this dish, you have to select a couple from Chengdu in their thirties, and the husband must have smoked for at least ten years, ideally having lived in our Imperial for five years! This way, the Husband and Wife Lung Slices are more flavorful!” Lu Xiaobu commenced an earnest talk full of nonsense.

”Hiss!” Rashed instinctively took two steps away from Lu Xiaobu.

This is terrifying! Eating humans is one thing, but they have so many conditions?!

He’s human, too, and he has a wife!

However, he still responded, ”That’s a pretty harsh requirement!”

”Actually, it’s not necessarily so. We people from the Heavenly Dynasty who know how to cook always try to cook many things we haven’t seen before!” Lu Xiaobu continued with a straight face.

”For example, you know crayfish, right? This thing is actually an invasive species from America. You know invasive species, right? Like rabbits from Australia and such, these invasive species have no natural enemies, so they wreak havoc on local environments!”

”Yes, yes.” Rashed nodded quickly, as invasive species really are a headache for many countries. Does the Heavenly Dynasty have such problems too?!

But does this invasive species have anything to do with the previous topic?!

”So what’s the result?! Ever since the Heavenly Dynasty discovered crayfish could be eaten!”

Saying this, Lu Xiaobu paused, giving Rashed enough time to react.

”Now in the Heavenly Dynasty, crayfish barely survive through human cultivation!” Lu Xiaobu said very seriously.

”What?! Crayfish are almost extinct?!” Rashed nearly jumped up.

Oh my gosh! This... this... this! People from the Heavenly Dynasty are terrifying!

He couldn’t help but start associating, wondering if the extinction of many species around the world was somehow related to the people of the Heavenly Dynasty?!

For example... braised lion’s head?!

”What I’m saying, in essence, is maybe your Dubai couples could also become Husband and Wife Lung Slices. Based on my foodie experience, and the observations over these past few days, members of the Royal Family would be the best candidates,” Lu Xiaobu said slowly.

Rashed immediately jumped back, warily watching Lu Xiaobu.

”Especially those who love animals and cars the most!” Lu Xiaobu said, holding back laughter.

Rashed jumped back again, standing two meters away from Lu Xiaobu!

”And especially those who are now watching me with great anxiety!” Lu Xiaobu couldn’t hold it anymore!

”Father! Help!” Rashed was about to bolt out the door!

My goodness! I thought of you as a friend, but you’re just observing whether you can eat me?!

People from the Heavenly Dynasty are terrifying! Absolutely terrifying!

Father, help me, or else by tomorrow, you might have to carry me out like you did with the tigers a few days ago!

Or worse, sneakily eat me at night!

Help!

Lin Feng was also struggling to hold it in; this Rashed, why is he so adorably naive?!

But no wonder, having already eaten a tiger and thinking braised lion’s head really means eating a lion’s head, it left a certain impression that people from the Heavenly Dynasty will eat anything.

Now with Lu Xiaobu spewing more nonsense seriously, Rashed isn’t entirely convinced but isn’t completely doubting either!

”Alright, we’re friends. I won’t eat you,” Lu Xiaobu stopped Rashed.

”Really?!” Rashed stopped, still cautiously eyeing Lu Xiaobu.

”Of course, so I’ve planned to eat another dish, Wife Cake!” Lu Xiaobu said again.

”Wife, run!” This time, Rashed dashed out of the room, off to find his wife!

People from the Heavenly Dynasty are too frightening!

Not eating Husband and Wife Lung Slices, but instead going for Wife Cake!

His wife couldn’t be turned into a Wife Cake!

”This guy...” Lu Xiaobu laughed heartily, clutching his stomach from laughter.

”I guess he’s playing along,” Lin Feng chuckled too.

”Isn’t he?! This is Dubai Palace, and he is a prince; even if we could eat humans, we wouldn’t act here!” Lu Xiaobu chuckled happily, ”It seems this guy genuinely considers us friends.”

Everyone’s the same, in front of friends they trust, their intelligence can take a backseat easily.

Now it feels like Rashed’s IQ is taking a backseat.

Lin Feng gave no reply, he had some reservation about the words ’friends’, and as for why, it’s common knowledge.

Afterward, Lu Xiaobu and Lin Feng each began admiring Rashed’s collections.

Lu Xiaobu watched the animals, Lin Feng checked out the cars.

Although Lu Xiaobu and Lin Feng were not on a higher status level than the Crown Prince Rashed, being a prince had its own uniqueness.

Hence, many of the collections Rashed had were things even Lin Feng hadn’t seen.

Like an incredibly ancient, antique car that any country would place in a museum, which was right in front of him.

And of course, the white lion Rashed mentioned earlier, intended as a braised lion’s head!

These were definitely treasures.

Now they were all placed in Rashed’s room for him to admire at his leisure.

At this time.

Lu Xiaobu stroked his chin looking at the exotic animal—the white lion, saying, ”Is it really possible to use a real lion head for braised lion’s head?! Why don’t we get four lions and give it a try?!”

Lin Feng’s mouth twitched—a meal with four lions, are you planning to make lions extinct?!
