Prodigal System in the Flourishing City

Chapter 1174: Chapter 1173: That’s Just How It Is

This John handles things quite swiftly.

Of course, it also has something to do with Lu Xiaobu showing him the data without any hesitation, immediately fulfilling the bet, and transferring 5% of Lego Company’s shares to Lu Xiaobu.

The market value of Lego Company is about 90 billion RMB, and this 5% is 4.5 billion!

However, the greatest value of these shares isn’t the money, but the say in what happens.

So, the previous 7.2 billion in gold that John wanted was almost equivalent in value.

With the bet completed, John was truly convinced and naturally, the atmosphere between them instantly turned harmonious.

John’s group couldn’t stop apologizing and flattering.

”Sorry! Sorry! It was my mistake before! I shouldn’t have underestimated you!”

”You people from the Heavenly Dynasty are incredible! This kind of speed is something we simply can’t achieve!”

”You truly are amazing from the Heavenly Dynasty!”

”Absolutely convinced, absolutely convinced!”

”...”

These people weren’t in a hurry; after all, they’re technical staff, and once the data came out and they saw the results, they were naturally satisfied!

But one person wasn’t satisfied!

That was Rashed, a car enthusiast, who saw this as a car and nothing else!

If a car doesn’t hit the road, is it still a car?!

”My friend, please let me drive it! I’m begging you! I’ll give you my favorite lion; you can take it to make braised lion’s head, how about that?” Rashed was so anxious he was scratching at Lu Xiaobu.

”Alright, alright,” Lu Xiaobu relented. ”If I don’t let you drive it, you might just start crying!”

”Thank you, thank you, thank you!” Rashed immediately had the road cleared, allowing the car to hit the road.

Meanwhile, John was on the phone with Lego Group.

He couldn’t help it, as this sudden transfer of 5% shares isn’t a small matter.

It could very well decide the future development of the group!

This is one major flaw of publicly listed companies; though they can acquire a large amount of capital quickly for development,

it can also lead to powerful financial groups investing and taking control, drastically changing the group’s dynamics.

Sometimes, even the original founder gets kicked out of the company.

Just like Weibo’s Wen Cun, who was kicked out by Lin Feng from the very group he founded!

Let’s not talk about that.

Under Rashed’s urging, everyone with Lu Xiaobu got into the Bugatti and hit the road.

Claiming everyone else was drunk, Rashed personally took the wheel.

Well, he splashed Li Jin with alcohol and insisted that Li Jin smelled like booze!

Anyway, the point is, whether or not he ultimately buys the car, he must drive it this time!

Everyone just chuckled and didn’t argue with him.

Though Rashed appeared amicable, he is still a prince, and it wouldn’t be right to not give him face.

So, this Bugatti, with a maximum speed of only 20 kilometers per hour, hit the road.

Though slow, everyone’s spirits were high!

After all, this essentially was a bunch of toys put together!

People on the road were puzzled seeing this car.

”Eh? Isn’t that a Bugatti?! Why is it going so slow?!”

”Yeah! But it looks a bit different; is it the new model?! Or has it been wrapped?!”

”Either way, this car is way too slow! Is there no traffic on the road, or is the driver new?!”

”...”

People in Dubai are different from elsewhere; they’re used to seeing luxury and sports cars.

So, seeing a Bugatti didn’t catch their attention; what caught their attention was the Bugatti’s speed!

This isn’t the speed a Bugatti should have, right?

When the car got closer,

they noticed something different!

”What the hell! What the hell! What the hell! This isn’t a real car!”

”Nonsense! If it’s not a car, what is it?! We’re not blind!?”

”Take a closer look, it’s all made of Lego!”

”What?! Really?! Lego?!”

”Did the Lego Factory come up with something new?! That’s incredible! Lego’s on the road now?!”

”Impressive! Truly impressive!”

”...”

As everyone marveled at Lego’s prowess, someone with sharp eyes noticed a difference!

”Wait! Wait! This isn’t made by the Lego Group! It’s the people from the Heavenly Dynasty!”

”What?! How do you know?!”

”Look closely; there’s a line of words on it!”

”Really?! Let me see! Wow, there really is; I’ve learned Chinese, it says—Created by the Heavenly Dynasty?!”

”It really was created by people from the Heavenly Dynasty?!”

”Amazing! Could it be those two from the Heavenly Dynasty earlier?!”

”It’s probably them! Those people from the Heavenly Dynasty are incredible!”

”...”

How could Lu Xiaobu let Lego Company steal the spotlight?!

So, he directly added four characters in front of this Bugatti—Created by the Heavenly Dynasty!

His intention was to say, don’t give Lego the credit; this is something from the Heavenly Dynasty!

That’s just how he rolls!

And so, those Heavenly Dynasty people, who had already been making waves in Dubai by buying a bus, buying out Gold Street, flaunting their wealth, and attending state banquets, once again became the talk of the town.

Meanwhile, many Chinese language training centers saw an increase in business.

Of course, the most successful was the relatively new but highly reputable Lu Group Training Center.

It’s also part of Lu Xiaobu’s business ventures.

This is why, even when abroad, Lu Xiaobu’s funds could be transferred almost instantaneously.

This time, it seemed like Lu Xiaobu spent money, but in the end, he didn’t really lose; the value of the Lego shares almost made up for it.

Furthermore, gold maintains its value.

Plus, with some miscellaneous profits, it seems he even made a slight gain after all.

Wu Qianmin watched from the side, eyes sparkling with admiration.

Previously, she didn’t understand and just thought Xiaobu was amazing!

But now, although her intelligence increased, she still couldn’t comprehend making money seemingly out of thin air, making her even more worshipful!

Just as Rashed was pleading with Lu Xiaobu to sell him the car, Lin Feng gestured to Lu Xiaobu.

Lu Xiaobu shrugged and tossed the car keys to Lin Feng, then said to Rashed, ”Alright, go talk to him; the ownership of this car is his.”

He got the shares, so giving the car to Lin Feng isn’t too much.

This kind of unspoken agreement doesn’t need to be verbalized between him and Lin Feng.

Moreover, he understands inside; do you think Lin Feng is silent and uninvolved?!

He actually made a fortune!

Not to delve into the deeper aspects, just this car can peel a layer off Rashed, like in the oil business!

You get it!
