Prodigal System in the Flourishing City

Chapter 28: Chapter 28: Make Him Cry! [Please favorite. Please recommend!]

With the support of Lu Xiaobu, a Weibo cursing battle began.

But unfortunately, there were too few students in class six, and their so-called counterattacks were often drowned out in countless comments in an instant, without causing any ripples.

Instead, every one of their curses became a tool for others to attack them.

Take an example!

Li Qiang: ”Idiotic Delicious Life, you actually slander Young Master Bu, do you have no shame?”

First Floor: ”You’re the idiot, when has Delicious Life ever slandered anyone? Plus, just listen to how you address Lu Xiaobu, it’s obvious you’re one of Lu Xiaobu’s people, you stinky idiot!”

Second Floor: ”I go to nm! This is slander, Lu Xiaobu is a prodigal son, saying he’s a misfortune, is there something wrong with that?”

Third Floor: ”You who start by cursing, still have the nerve to speak of reason? I was half-convinced before, but now I believe it, Lu Xiaobu is indeed an idiot!”

Fourth Floor: ”...”

...

999th Floor: ”...”

...

9999th Floor: ”...”

Right, it’s worth mentioning that the development trajectory of this world is different from Earth, Weibo appeared before smartphones, and even old mobile phones could use the web to access Weibo.

...

”Young Master, we can’t hold on,” said Li Qiang, looking miserable: ”I, a nobody, have already accumulated over ten thousand followers, 9999 of whom are haters, with the remaining one being my alt account, I really can’t handle it!”

The fatty was also furious: ”Damn it, I personally clarified, but people are saying I was coerced, even that I’ve been bought off, a bunch of bastards! They demand actual pictures for proof, not even believing my own words! They are really talented at inverting right and wrong!”

Wu Qianmin was even crying: ”Xiaobu, using my Weibo has led to me being cursed so terribly...”

”Exactly, we’re too few in number, just a few dozen of us, while they have hundreds of thousands of fans, we simply can’t out-curse them.” Zhou Jingyuan also advised, ”Otherwise, shall we think of another solution?”

”Can’t out-curse? Motherf*!” Lu Xiaobu slammed his phone on the table, full of displeasure, ”Can’t out-curse? What kind of joke is that? Call a troll army for Young Master, I have loads of money!”

Being cursed at and still holding back is not in his nature.

”Troll army?” Wu Qianmin was taken aback, ”What is a troll army?”

”Seriously? You don’t even know what a troll army is? It’s those teams that help people curse at others.”

Now it was Lu Xiaobu’s turn to be stunned—How can it be that while Weibo exists, the troll army doesn’t?

”What exactly is a troll army?” Zhou Jingyuan was also confused.

”Forget it, I know now. It seems I have to start this industry myself.”

Lu Xiaobu sighed—He hadn’t expected the people in this world to be adorably excessive, lacking even the indispensable necessity of the era like a troll army.

Lu Xiaobu: ”Li Qiang.”

Li Qiang: ”Present!”

Lu Xiaobu: ”I now appoint you as the chief of the troll army, and all students in class six as troll army leaders!”

Li Qiang: ”Yes! May I ask, what does a troll army do?”

Lu Xiaobu: ”Specialize in cursing people!”

Li Qiang: ”Alright, Young Master, no problem, Young Master.”

Lu Xiaobu: ”Now, everyone, stop all attacks on Delicious Life, go to various social platforms to recruit people. Tell them, fifty cents for each comment. Screenshot as proof, pay promptly, first come first served.”

Li Qiang: ”Alright, Young Master. Everyone, let’s move.”

Class six students: ”Yes!”

Lu Xiaobu: ”Remember our principles, one, ensure that I, Young Master, am absolutely right; two, ensure absolute justice; three, if the above two points conflict, refer to the first point!”

Class 6 student: ”Yes, Young Master! The Young Master is absolutely just!”

”Wuh...” Wu Qianmin was speechless.

”Wuh...” Zhou Jingyuan also broke down.

What is the point of these rules, really?

”Young Master, I’m in too!” Yumian Chilong suddenly ran over, huffing and puffing, ”Although I don’t know what Young Master is up to, now they’re smearing Young Master’s name using my reputation, I can’t just sit idly by; my Weibo still has over a hundred thousand followers, I can surely help Young Master.”

”Alright, no problem.” Lu Xiaobu waved his hand grandly: ”Once we take down this hill, we’ll reward according to merit! Follow me, I promise you’ll eat well and drink well!”

”Thank you, Young Master!” Everyone bowed with fists clenched, a gesture laden with the resolve of the devoted!

As Lu Xiaobu made arrangements, the mudslinging on Weibo suddenly stalled, and fans of Delicious Life took complete control.

”Hahaha, Lu Xiaobu, got nothing to say now, huh? Just admit your mistake early, we might still forgive you.”

”Don’t forgive, who said anything about forgiving? Such scum should starve!”

”Down with the uncompassionate Lu Family!”

”...”

Li Qiang and the others, looking at these comments, were furious yet could only furiously but silently recruit online trolls on various social media platforms.

They gritted their teeth in secret — dare to slander Young Master Bu, just you wait, once we’ve gathered enough people, when we come back, we’ll curse you all to death!

...

Not to be underestimated, Fatty’s hundreds of thousands of followers indeed weren’t for nothing.

With Fatty’s help and assurance...

Under Lu Xiaobu’s financial onslaught...

The first and largest trolling army on Water Blue Star, counting over three hundred thousand, was officially established.

”Report to Young Master, the troll army is assembled, numbering over three hundred thousand. Shall we launch the attack?” Li Qiang said, his face alight with excitement.

At that moment, Lu Xiaobu’s phone rang.

”Hey, Xiaobu, I know about the online issue, you don’t worry about it, don’t stress out. Big Brother has already sent someone to dig out that bastard’s address, I’m going after him!” The furious voice of Lu Hongbin came through.

”Big Brother, no need, I’ve already arranged everything. They dare to curse me, I’ll make sure they lose sleep over it,” Lu Xiaobu said with a cold laugh.

”Hm? Xiaobu, don’t overdo it. I just saw your counterattack, it’s too weak. To deal with these people, you need to go hard.”

The equally furious voice of Lu Wenhao came through, ”Don’t worry, Second Brother has lots of connections, loads of hacker classmates, athletes, we have plenty of resources! They dare say you cause trouble? I’ll make their ancestors’ graves smoke!”

”Exactly, Xiaobu, leave this matter to your Big Brother and Second Brother. If you feel unsatisfied, I’ll personally take you over and beat him up,” said Father Lu, his voice accompanied by the sound of him banging the table.

Hearing their words, Lu Xiaobu felt a warm surge in his heart—this was his family, willing to do anything for him.

Wu Qianmin helplessly shook her head.

The Lu family was like this, usually, they were indeed philanthropists, doing good deeds was commonplace.

But whenever it involved Lu Xiaobu, they all changed completely, even the refined Second Brother exploded with vulgar words, and the self-cultivating Uncle Lu was ready to go beat someone up.

However, Zhou Jingyuan showed an envious expression.

How she wished she could have such a family.

Even though she acted high and mighty and unrestrained daily, only she knew—that was just her feeble resistance against her fate.

Listening to his Big Brother and Second Brother’s disbelieving words, Lu Xiaobu could only speak up, ”Dad, Big Brother, Second Brother, there’s really no need, I’m not being rash, I’ve already built up a troll army of three hundred thousand, specifically for hurling insults, about to launch the full assault.”

Hearing Lu Xiaobu’s words, the Lu men were somewhat dumbfounded.

But Liang Lan, known as Tian Jilan, sparkled brilliantly in her eyes.

Young Master Bu was miraculous, this was such a terrifying power! If controlled by me, it would be a real army!

A troll army under the control of Tian Jilan was about to unleash the most fearsome power in the world of cyberspace!
