Fate-Defying Demon Emperor

Chapter 131: Chapter 131: If Someone Offends Me, I Will Offend Them in Return

Since the ambush failed, the trio did not linger. At Tongyan’s invitation, Su Han accompanied her to Qingmo City.

Meanwhile, in an underground cave, the Bloodthirsty Junior Demon Lord’s original body snapped open his eyes, his fury blazing.

”Damn that Tongyan and Yun Mokong! They destroyed my very last Blood Puppet.”

”And that disciple from the Seven Stars Sect! He dared to ruin my Eight Directions Blood Killing Formation, preventing me from gathering the last of the lifeblood I needed to refine the Yin Blood Demon Pill. He deserves to die!”

The Bloodthirsty Junior Demon Lord’s gaze was dark and brooding, killing intent surging through him like a tide.

He had come to Qingzhou specifically to slaughter its cities for the sake of condensing the Yin Blood Demon Pill. He had nearly collected enough, lacking only the lifeblood of the final three hundred thousand souls, but had failed at the last moment.

Moreover, crafting a Blood Puppet was extremely troublesome, consuming a great deal of Essence Blood and Divine Sense. Even with his power, he could only refine three of them. Now that all three had been destroyed, how could he not be enraged?

Tongyan, Yun Mokong, and Su Han had all become the targets of his hatred. He vowed to have his revenge.

Hmm?

Just then, the Bloodthirsty Junior Demon Lord’s expression shifted, and he retrieved a Communication Talisman from his Storage Ring.

”Bloodthirsty, we have entered the borders of Qingzhou and are preparing to initiate the ambush!”

An ice-cold voice, like a glacial wind that could pierce the very marrow, emanated from the Communication Talisman.

Upon hearing this voice, however, the Bloodthirsty Junior Demon Lord’s eyes lit up with sheer ecstasy.

”Xuanyin and Yinsha are finally here! With the three of us working together, we will definitely be able to kill Tongyan and Yun Mokong!”

His eyes gleamed with sharp confidence.

Like him, the Xuanyin Junior Demon Lord and the Yinsha Junior Demon Lord were True Disciples of the Heavenly Demon Cult, comparable to the Star Disciples of the Seven Stars Sect.

He had sent out a call for help and received a response from the other two. The three of them then plotted an ambush for Tongyan and Yun Mokong. Now that his allies had arrived, he no longer needed to hide, and the true ambush could begin.

”You want to ambush me, but I also want to ambush you. We’ll see who has the last laugh!”

The Bloodthirsty Junior Demon Lord laughed triumphantly, purging all the frustration he had felt from being hunted these past few days. He was already eager to witness the gruesome deaths of Tongyan and Yun Mokong. Oh, and that Seven Stars Sect disciple who ruined the Eight Directions Blood Killing Formation—he had to die, too!

”My Yin Blood Demon Pill only needs the lifeblood of another three hundred thousand souls to be complete. I will use that as bait and choose a fitting burial ground for them!”

The Bloodthirsty Junior Demon Lord glanced back at the Blood Pool behind him. It was thick with lifeblood, where a dragon-eye-sized, thoroughly crimson Yin Blood Demon Pill was absorbing the lifeblood, advancing toward perfection.

At this time, Su Han and Tongyan were unaware that danger was already upon them as they returned to Qingmo City.

Qingmo City stood at the junction of two provinces. Though it was a melting pot for all sorts of people, it was also extremely prosperous and the largest city within a thousand-mile radius.

The Myriad Treasures Pavilion had a Branch Pavilion here, where Tongyan was staying temporarily.

”Although the ambush failed today, the Bloodthirsty Junior Demon Lord shouldn’t have a fourth Blood Puppet. To complete his Yin Blood Demon Pill, he will need even more lifeblood. I suspect that the next time he makes a move, it will be with his original body.”

”Brother Yun, please have your people keep a close watch on all regions. Report any news immediately. We must also be fully prepared. If we encounter his original body, we absolutely cannot let him escape again!”

Tongyan was not only beautiful but also remarkably sharp and intelligent.

”Rest assured, Miss Tongyan. Next time, I will not let the Bloodthirsty Junior Demon Lord escape!” Yun Mokong said with a smile, eager to show off in front of the beautiful woman.

Tongyan understood his intentions, but unfortunately, she was not interested in him and maintained a polite distance in her words and actions.

”Miss Tongyan, I’ll go make the arrangements now!” Yun Mokong knew that killing the Bloodthirsty Junior Demon Lord was what Tongyan wanted most. Not wanting to linger, and hoping to leave a good impression on her, he took his leave.

Before he left, however, he shot Su Han a cold glance, making no attempt to hide his murderous intent.

You brat, you dare compete with me for a woman? I’ll make sure not even your corpse is left whole!

After Yun Mokong had departed, Tongyan turned to look at Su Han.

She had already learned that Su Han was here on a mission, with the Bloodthirsty Junior Demon Lord as his target. Although Su Han’s strength had improved significantly, it was still far from enough to deal with his quarry.

”Su Han, you haven’t disappointed me. To have grown this much in just two months, your innate talent is beyond doubt.

”Although you killed Qian Yuan of the Phenomenon Realm, you’re still in the Heavenly Human Realm. The Bloodthirsty Junior Demon Lord, however, is not only at the Sixth Layer of the Phenomenon Realm, but he also has countless tricks up his sleeve, making him impossible to guard against. This time, you can just act as support for us. That way, you can complete your mission as well.”

Tongyan believed Su Han could defeat the Bloodthirsty Junior Demon Lord eventually, but not yet. He still needed more time to grow. For now, contributing as support to complete the mission was a good outcome. This wasn’t Tongyan looking down on Su Han. On the contrary, she was helping him. After all, he was a prodigy she had scouted personally. The stronger he became, the more it would prove her keen judgment and wise investment.

Su Han smiled, in no rush to prove his strength. As for the Bloodthirsty Junior Demon Lord, Su Han was determined to kill him—not just for the mission, but for the Yin Blood Demon Pill as well.

”By the way, you don’t need to pay any mind to Yun Mokong. As long as I’m here, he won’t dare to do anything to you,” Tongyan said, her intent to protect him obvious. After all, Yun Mokong was not only a Star Disciple of Kaiyang Peak but also a powerhouse at the Seventh Layer of the Phenomenon Realm. Su Han’s current chances of defeating him were extremely low.

”Don’t worry, Miss Tongyan. I won’t cause trouble if no one provokes me. But if they do, I will strike back!”

He had to give Tongyan some face, but Su Han was no coward. If Yun Mokong tried to bully him, he would naturally fight back.

Tongyan understood his meaning and nodded without saying more.

”By the way, where is Elder Kui?” Su Han asked, puzzled. Elder Kui was a Physique Realm expert. His involvement would greatly increase their chances of killing the Bloodthirsty Junior Demon Lord.

”Elder Kui is away on some business, but he will be back in a while,” Tongyan explained openly.

”Alright, you’ve had a long journey and must be tired. Go and rest. I’ll call you when we have news about the Bloodthirsty Junior Demon Lord.”

Tongyan summoned a maidservant to lead Su Han to a room.

Su Han did not linger and took his leave.

Once in his room, he dismissed the maidservant and closed the door to rest.

The Bloodthirsty Junior Demon Lord’s methods are indeed strange. Finding him won’t be easy. However, I possess Demonic Qi, which might allow me to sense and track him.

Su Han’s eyes narrowed as he mulled over the situation.

As for Yun Mokong... if the opportunity arises, I won’t let him off the hook either!

Su Han did not look for trouble, but he was not afraid of it, either. Yun Mokong had provoked him so openly; if he did not fight back, it was not in his character.

Hmm?

Suddenly, Su Han’s expression shifted, and he looked down at his Bronze Ring.

Inside the Prison Divine Palace, the Three-Eyed Demonic God corresponding to the Star Cloud Celestial Body had finally awakened
