Fate-Defying Demon Emperor

Chapter 118: Chapter 118: I Will Surely Kill You Today

”Su Han, you’ve finally come. But today, you are destined not to leave here alive!”

A vicious smile crept across Wang Ziming’s lips, his eyes brimming with excitement and malicious glee. ”You previously provoked my Tianxuan Peak and even dared to steal my treasure. That was my humiliation, and the humiliation of Tianxuan Peak. Today, I will watch you die with my own eyes!”

Wang Ziming’s voice dripped with venom as he spoke through clenched teeth.

But Su Han paid no attention to Wang Ziming, even ignoring Luo Hongyi at his side. His gaze was fixated on the blood-drenched figure of Ning Feifan, a cold killing intent spreading through his heart.

Ning Feifan was covered in blood, his clothes torn and stained red. Vicious whip marks, deep enough to expose bone, crisscrossed his body as crimson blood dripped incessantly from the wounds—a truly miserable sight.

”Boss, you have to run! It’s a trap!” Ning Feifan’s face was covered in blood, but he disregarded his own safety, loudly urging Su Han to escape. Though he had always shed blood but never tears, he burst into tears upon seeing Su Han. He felt responsible, believing that if he hadn’t been captured, Su Han would never have come and put himself in such danger.

Looking at the horrifying whip marks on Ning Feifan, Su Han’s heart clenched violently as a terrifying killing intent erupted from within his clear eyes.

Though Ning Feifan was not his kin, he was a true friend. Seeing him tortured like this because of him, how could Su Han not be enraged?

”All of you will die!”

The words, laced with murderous intent, escaped through Su Han’s clenched teeth. In the next instant, he executed the Character Technique of Motion, transforming into a streak of light and charging straight for Wang Ziming. He drew the Black Blade in an instant, gripping it tightly as a pitch-black blade light slashed toward Wang Ziming. This strike, born of Su Han’s fury, was immensely powerful and filled with a terrifying killing intent.

Wang Ziming hadn’t expected Su Han to be so fast. His pupils contracted in sheer horror. But he was no weakling. He retreated quickly while conjuring a barrier of Spiritual Energy before him, intending to block the attack.

Unfortunately, his impression of Su Han’s strength was still stuck in the time of the Sect Competition. He was completely unaware of the tremendous progress Su Han had made in just a few days. This misjudgment cost him his life. The Black Blade struck like lightning, instantly shattering Wang Ziming’s Spiritual Energy Protection before the razor-sharp edge sliced into his body.

SPLAT!

A scream erupted as blood splattered. Wang Ziming was cleaved in two at the waist, the cut as smooth as a mirror.

Wang Ziming, after all, was a prodigy at the Seventh Layer of the Heavenly Human Realm and ranked sixty-eighth on the Azure Cloud Rankings. Yet, before Su Han, he was utterly defenseless, killed in a single blow. This outcome was beyond his wildest expectations. Even in death, his eyes remained wide with shock and horror.

Ning Feifan was also stunned. He hadn’t expected Su Han to be so powerful as to kill Wang Ziming with a single slash. When he finally came to his senses, tears of overwhelming emotion streamed down his face. He had been tortured and whipped by Wang Ziming and hated the man to his very bones. Now that Su Han had avenged him, he was beside himself with joy. Moreover, Su Han had risked everything to come here, not shrinking back but decisively killing Wang Ziming. How could he not be moved by such loyalty?

To follow a boss like this... I’d have no regrets even in death!

”Su Han, how dare you kill Wang Ziming! You have some nerve! I’ll make sure not even a complete corpse of you is left!”

A cold killing intent emanated from behind him. Luo Hongyi’s delicate face was frosted with fury, her beautiful eyes shooting daggers of murderous intent. She also hadn’t expected Su Han to dare to make the first move, let alone kill someone. Furthermore, his speed using the Character Technique of Motion was simply too fast; she only managed to react after Wang Ziming was already dead. It felt like a stinging slap to her face—a painful humiliation she could not accept.

”Boss, be careful! That’s Luo Hongyi from Tianji Peak!” Luo Hongyi’s killing intent sent an involuntary shudder through Ning Feifan. Snapping back to his senses, he urgently shouted another warning. ”She’s at the Seventh Layer of the Phenomenon Realm and has the Crimson Flame Emperor Body! Wang Ziming was nothing. The real danger is Luo Hongyi! She’s incredibly strong, a Star Disciple of Tianji Peak. Boss, you can’t withstand her!”

”Draw Sword Slash!”

Sensing Luo Hongyi’s killing intent and hearing Ning Feifan’s warning, Su Han neither retreated nor cowered. Instead, he took the initiative, slashing at Luo Hongyi with his blade. With this strike, Su Han activated the Character Secret of Combat. The pitch-black light from his blade streaked like black lightning, moving with unstoppable momentum as it tore through the air at extreme speed.

Simultaneously, Su Han unleashed his Invincible Tao Xin. An invincible aura surged from his body, pressing down on Luo Hongyi like an invisible mountain, attempting to overwhelm her with its sheer presence.

Su Han didn’t know Luo Hongyi, but her presence here made her an enemy. And Su Han never showed mercy to his enemies, man or woman. Sensing Luo Hongyi’s immense power, he held nothing back, putting his full strength into this first strike.

The invincible aura pressed down on Luo Hongyi, suppressing her slightly. However, her own strength far exceeded Su Han’s, and with her heart filled with rage and murderous intent, the effect was limited.

”You dare to attack me first? You’re truly courting death!”

Luo Hongyi sneered, her hand reaching out to grasp a fiery red sword. It was the Crimson Spirit Sword, a priceless Supreme Grade Magic Artifact of peerless power. Flames blazed upon the Crimson Spirit Sword, radiating a scorching heat so intense it warped the very air around it.

CLANG!

The sword and blade collided, sending sparks flying in all directions. The terrifying shockwave shredded the surrounding grass and trees to pieces. Su Han was forced back three steps, while Luo Hongyi took only one. In terms of raw power, Su Han was her inferior, yet even being forced back a single step left Luo Hongyi deeply dissatisfied.

”Ninth Layer of the Heavenly Human Realm... It’s only been a few days, and you’ve broken through again!”

Luo Hongyi stared at Su Han in shock. During the Sect Competition, he was only at the Seventh Layer of the Heavenly Human Realm. In a mere four or five days, he had broken through two entire layers. Such a cultivation speed was simply unheard of.

If I give him three months, won’t he be able to break through to the Phenomenon Realm? In his life-and-death duel with Senior Brother Qian Xuan, he might actually have a ten or twenty percent chance of winning. No, I can’t allow that. I mustn’t let him continue to grow. I have to kill him now to eliminate this threat for good.

Luo Hongyi’s killing intent surged once more. Qian Xuan was her idol, and she could not permit even a ten percent chance of his defeat. She resolved to kill Su Han here today, no matter the cost.

”Kill!”

With a cold shout, Luo Hongyi’s aura exploded. Flames swirled around her body, making her look like a goddess of fire. She activated her Crimson Flame Emperor Body, preparing to kill Su Han with her full power.

Seeing this, Su Han’s gaze sharpened, yet he showed no trace of fear. He reached out, took out the Ghostly Face Mask, and placed it over his face.

”Today, I will kill you!”
