Fate-Defying Demon Emperor

Chapter 125: Chapter 125: Class A Mission

Tianxuan Peak, Unparalleled Hall!

The news that Lei Ming had accepted a Class-A mission on Su Han’s behalf reached Qin Wushuang’s ears immediately. With his shrewd wisdom, he quickly guessed the reason, but he did not intervene. Instead, he summoned someone.

A clean-shaven, middle-aged man with a refined temperament walked in quickly. It was none other than Yan Liu, an Outer Sect Elder!

”Greetings, Master!” Yan Liu bowed respectfully, his face filled with reverence.

”Lei Ming has taken a Class-A mission for that brat Su Han. He’s to go to Qingmo City to ambush and assassinate the Bloodthirsty Little Demon Lord from the Heavenly Demon Cult. I want you to follow him secretly and find an opportunity to kill him,” Qin Wushuang ordered emotionlessly.

Although we have a three-month agreement, I can’t give Su Han time to grow. If an opportunity arises, I must strike first.

Since Wang Ziming and Luo Hongyi had disappeared, the Enforcement Hall was conducting an extensive search. Su Han’s departure at this time would undoubtedly raise suspicion, but Qin Wushuang wanted to use the situation to his advantage. By allowing Su Han to leave the Seven Stars Sect, he would be without Lei Ming’s protection, greatly increasing the chances of a successful assassination.

Yan Liu was no fool. He quickly surmised the entire situation and understood his master’s intentions.

”Rest assured, Master. I will certainly not let him return alive!” Yan Liu promised solemnly, full of confidence.

Su Han might be strong, but he’s still just in the Heavenly Human Realm. So what if he breaks through to the Phenomenon Realm? I’m a powerhouse in the Physique Realm; he’s no match for me. If it weren’t for the interference of Tongyan and Xing Kui from the Myriad Treasures Pavilion, I would have killed him long ago.

”Even when a lion hunts a rabbit, it uses its full strength. I don’t want any more accidents. This time, he must die!”

A terrifying killing intent erupted from Qin Wushuang’s eyes, as cold as a winter wind. It made Yan Liu’s heart tremble as if he had been plunged into an ice cellar.

Su Han had destroyed Su Tian, killed the Empress, and wiped out the Qin Family. He had provoked Tianxuan Peak time and again, slapping Qin Wushuang in the face repeatedly. A towering rage and murderous intent had long been building in his heart.

WHOOSH!

A streak of azure light whistled out, landing before Yan Liu.

Within the light was a dazzling talisman that pulsed with astonishing fluctuations, containing an energy that made even Yan Liu’s heart palpitate.

”This is the Grand Extinguishing Azure Gang Talisman, a superior-grade Dao talisman comparable to a Supreme’s strike. This time, I want him annihilated!”

Yan Liu’s heart skipped a beat as he cautiously accepted the talisman. The master’s killing intent is absolute! He’s not only sending me but has even prepared this Grand Extinguishing Azure Gang Talisman! He could feel his master’s unwavering determination to kill Su Han, and he understood the enormous responsibility he now carried. With this talisman, I could destroy even ten Su Hans.

”Master, if I fail to kill Su Han this time, you can have my head!” Yan Liu swore, pledging his loyalty to Qin Wushuang.

Qin Wushuang nodded. He trusted Yan Liu greatly. Otherwise, he would not have sent him to the Tianqing Dynasty to retrieve Su Tian.

”Go. Upon completing this task, I will promote you to the Inner Sect.”

Qin Wushuang offered a great incentive. The benefits for an Inner Sect Elder were far greater than for an Outer Sect Elder, and Yan Liu had never been promoted due to his insufficient seniority.

Hearing Qin Wushuang’s promise, Yan Liu’s eyes lit up with excitement.

”I am willing to go through hell and high water for you, Master! I will not shrink from any task. Please await my good news!”

Brimming with motivation, Yan Liu quickly accepted his orders and departed.

Watching Yan Liu’s retreating figure, Qin Wushuang’s eyes surged with a murderous intent as cold as frost.

Su Han, only by grinding your bones to dust and tearing you limb from limb can I ever dispel the hatred in my heart!

Su Han had no idea what had transpired between Qin Wushuang and Yan Liu. He bid farewell to Lei Ming and Ning Feifan, then left Yaoguang Peak and the Seven Stars Sect.

The Bloodthirsty Little Demon Lord of the Heavenly Demon Cult! As Su Han made his way toward Qian Yuan City, he pondered the target of his mission.

The Desolate Heavenly Ancient Realm contained Five Domains, which were further divided into Three Thousand Dao States. Qingzhou, located in the southeastern part of the Eastern Region, was but one of these states. Adjacent to Qingzhou were several large states, one of which was Mozhou. The Heavenly Demon Cult was the overlord of Mozhou and a mortal enemy of the Seven Stars Sect.

The Bloodthirsty Little Demon Lord was a True Disciple of the Heavenly Demon Cult, a status comparable to the Stars of the Seven Stars Sect. This Demon Lord had come from Mozhou and rampaged through Qingzhou, massacring city after city. He refined their people into blood water to cultivate his evil Demonic Technique. He was a true Demon Cultivator, a name that made everyone turn pale with fear and shun him like a venomous snake. The local Tiayun Dynasty was powerless to resist and had no choice but to report the matter to the Seven Stars Sect, requesting that they dispatch an expert to resolve the crisis.

This Class-A mission was, therefore, to assassinate the Bloodthirsty Little Demon Lord.

However, the Bloodthirsty Little Demon Lord was exceptionally talented and powerful. Although he didn’t possess a Special Physique, the Demonic Technique he cultivated was extremely bizarre. Even though he was only at the Sixth Layer of the Phenomenon Realm, many experts at the Seventh or even Eighth Layer found him difficult to handle.

Lei Ming had considered this carefully before accepting the mission for Su Han. Firstly, Su Han possessed the Black Blade and the Ghostly Face Mask, two Demonic Weapons that offered some resistance against Demon Cultivators. Secondly, he had the Character Technique of Motion, giving him extreme speed to track the Little Demon Lord. As for the danger, Su Han’s ability to easily slay Qian Yuan was proof enough of his own strength. Furthermore, he had obtained the Golden Light Fiery Mirror from Luo Hongyi, so he was not lacking in Dao Artifacts either.

Of course, as a precaution, Lei Ming had also given Su Han a life-saving item: a Supreme Thunder Pearl. Condensed from his own thunderbolt power, it could unleash a strike at his full strength. With all these preparations, Su Han’s safety was more or less guaranteed, and his chances of killing the Bloodthirsty Little Demon Lord were high. It was the most suitable Class-A mission for him.

The greatest difficulty of this mission isn’t killing the Bloodthirsty Little Demon Lord—it’s finding him! Su Han thought as he carefully read the mission details.

Although the Bloodthirsty Little Demon Lord was strong, the Tiayun Dynasty’s power was comparable to the Tianqing Dynasty’s. They did not lack experts in the Physique Realm or even the Heavenly King Realm. The main reason the Tiayun Dynasty hadn’t captured him was that he had too many tricks up his sleeve, and his movements were incredibly elusive, making it impossible to pin him down. Otherwise, even ten Bloodthirsty Little Demon Lords couldn’t withstand an attack from King Tianyuan.

I’ll go to Qingmo City first and use the Myriad Treasures Pavilion’s channels to gather some information!

Qingmo City was located at the border between Qingzhou and Mozhou, and it was also where the Bloodthirsty Little Demon Lord had first appeared. The city was a chaotic place where good and evil mingled. As it was on the border, the Little Demon Lord could commit his atrocities and then quickly retreat back into Mozhou. This made it a perfect strategic location for both attack and defense.

Soon, Su Han arrived at Qian Yuan City and headed straight for the Myriad Treasures Pavilion marketplace to find Pavilion Master Sun Buzhou. Thanks to the Jade Pendant he’d received from Tongyan, he was granted a meeting almost immediately.

”You’re going to Qingmo City?” Sun Buzhou asked, a hint of surprise in his voice.

”What’s the matter?” Su Han asked, puzzled.

”Miss Tongyan is there as well. If you go, you might run into her!”

Sun Buzhou’s words were an unexpected and pleasant surprise for Su Han.

Tongyan is actually in Qingmo City!
