Clan Rise: Starting as a Grandfather

Chapter 1302: Chapter 845: Reorganization of White Jade City (2)

If everything goes as expected, the Spirit Source Land will certainly develop in the direction of a Sect in the future.

”You can take people to take over the Lian family’s properties at any time now!” said Yue Qing.

”Oh, how many properties did you leave for me?” Yang Zhenshan asked curiously.

”Not much, just a Lian Family Town!” Yue Qing laughed.

Yang Zhenshan nodded slightly, not surprised.

The Three Sects managed to leave him with a Lian Family Town, which is already quite generous. This Lian Family Town does not just refer to the town itself but includes the spirit fields outside the town, approximately over three thousand acres of spirit fields.

As for the other properties of the Lian family, they must have been divided among the other families.

The Three Sects did not care for those properties, but other families would definitely want them. This time, the Twelve Families of the Three Sects suffered significant losses, so naturally, they need some compensation for appeasement.

”Understood, I’ll send someone to take over Lian Family Town in a few days!”

With Lian Family Town in hand, the Spirit Source Land has truly established itself within the Sea of Spirit, which will make future operations outside more convenient.

After sending off Yue Qing and Master Jing Shui, Yang Zhenshan promptly returned to the Spirit Source Land.

In the Clan Hall, all members of the Clan Council were gathered.

Yang Zhenshan sat in the main seat, looked at the people in the hall, and said, ”Does anyone have thoughts regarding Lian Family Town?”

”With Lian Family Town, I think we should change its name first!” Liang Shengze smiled.

His injuries had almost fully recovered, and his cultivation was stable, so he now had time to manage the affairs of the Clan Council.

”Then let’s change the name to Yang Family Town!” Yang Zhenshan agreed readily, smiling.

Hearing this, everyone couldn’t help but laugh; Yang Family Town, the name sounds ordinary but it represents a different significance, and everyone was satisfied with it.

”Let’s hear your plans!” Yang Zhenshan generally doesn’t intervene in the operations of the Clan Council, though every decision of the Clan Council is reported to him, so he’s well aware of its situation.

Everyone looked at Yang Chengmao, who thought and said, ”Grandfather, should we adjust the system of the Clan Council first?”

”Oh, you’ve already planned it?” He knew the Clan Council was recently discussing system reform, but he wasn’t familiar with the specifics.

Yang Chengmao said, ”It’s almost done!”

As he spoke, he handed a booklet to Yang Zhenshan.

Yang Zhenshan opened it and couldn’t help but chuckle.

”Directly renamed to White Jade City!”

”Haha, we all think this name is very good. In the future, when we walk outside, it will have more prestige!” Yang Chengmao laughed.

Spirit Source Land or White Jade City, ultimately they’re just names, not very crucial.

The reform proposed by the Clan Council not only changed the name, but also modified structures at all levels.

Heavenly White Jade City, Twelve Floors Five Cities.

They reformed according to the Twelve Floors Five Cities structure.

The Five Cities are Yu Heng City, Longevity City, Changqing City, Changming City, Changyao City.

Yu Heng City based on the existing Clan Hall, is built below the Spiritual Spring waterfall, serving as the core main city of the Spirit Source Land, with within twelve floors.

Namely, Taiwei, Ziwei, Heavenly Market, Tianshu, Merak, Phecda, Tianquan, Yu Heng, Kaiyang, Shaking Light, Heavenly Treasure, Tianliang Twelve Floors.

Taiwei Tower serves as the Elder Hall, subdivided into Immortal Hall and Martial Hall, Foundation Establishment Cultivators and Golden Body Realm Martial Artists join the Immortal Martial Two Halls as elders.

Ziwei Tower is the power center, where the Tower Lord concurrently serves as the City Lord of Yu Heng City, equivalent to the Sect Master of the Sect.

Heavenly Market Tower is in charge of politics and finance, responsible for livelihood management and economic development of the Spirit Source Land.

Tianshu Tower serves as the intelligence center, under which Secret Martial Guards operate, responsible for intelligence gathering externally.

Tianquan Tower serves as the Commerce Department, managing the external properties of the Spirit Source Land.

Yu Heng Tower acts as the Foreign Affairs Department, managing the affairs between the Spirit Source Land and the outside world.

Tianshu, Tianquan, Yu Heng Towers are essentially equivalent to the previous Foreign Affairs Hall.

Merak Tower serves as the Teaching Hall, Phecda Tower as the Education Department, Kaiyang Tower as the Law Enforcement Department, these three towers primarily work with Heavenly Market Tower to govern internally within the Spirit Source Land.

Shaking Light Tower is equivalent to the previous Treasure Hall, responsible for spirit plant, beast taming, silk farming, and weaving, etc.

Heavenly Treasure Tower is equivalent to the previous Secret Skill Pavilion, responsible for research in runes, overseeing Pill Hall, Instrument Hall, Arrangement Hall.

Tianliang Tower is equivalent to the previous Protection Hall, the original Guardian Army converted to Garrison, mainly responsible for security in the Spirit Source Land, including guarding Pocket World Gates, etc.

Additionally, the Yu Heng Three Guards are established, representing the true military force of the Spirit Source Land.

This structure isn’t much different from the Sect forces, merely a matter of nomenclature.

Yang Zhenshan casually glanced over, asking, ”Where do you plan to build the other three cities?”

”Grandfather, it’s not three, but four cities.” Yang Chengmao replied.

”Four cities?”

”Exactly, four cities. We plan to incorporate the current Longevity City into Yu Heng City, and select four locations for construction, although construction will not commence immediately, it might take a long time before it begins!”

Yang Zhenshan laughed, ”You have quite the ambition!”

Incorporating Longevity City into Yu Heng City implies that all population and buildings in the Spirit Source Land currently belong to Yu Heng City?

In reality, the current Clan Hall is less than twenty miles from Longevity City, truly unsuitable for division into two cities.

Moreover, the current population in the Spirit Source Land is barely over a hundred thousand, inadequate for supporting five major cities.

”Haha, we believe the future of the Spirit Source Land will be much broader!” Yang Chengmao laughed.

”Indeed!” everyone echoed.

Yang Zhenshan pondered for a moment, then asked, ”What about personnel appointments?”

”This requires Grandfather’s direct appointment!” Yang Chengmao said.

Yang Zhenshan flipped to the end, looking again at the official position hierarchy in White Jade City, which essentially showed no differences from before.

Supreme Elder, Elder, Tower Lord (City Lord), Vice Tower Lord (Deputy City Lord), Hall Master, Vice Hall Master, six levels of attendants, three levels of hall members.

At the top, Supreme Elder, Elder, Tower Lord and Vice Tower Lord are added, removing ministers, with attendant levels increasing from three to six.

Supreme Elder and Elder have cultivation requirements, Elder must be at Foundation Establishment Realm and Golden Body Realm, while Supreme Elder is reserved for Golden Core Realm and Divine Soul Realm.

Among the Twelve Floors and Five Cities, the City Lord of Yu Heng City and the Ziwei Tower Lord are held by a single person, overseeing everything, leading all affairs in the Spirit Source Land.

Currently, the Spirit Source Land only has one city, Yu Heng City, so the other four cities remain vacant.

Each tower appoints two Vice Tower Lords, with respective halls under them.

For instance, Heavenly Treasure Tower, overseeing Pill Hall, Instrument Hall, Arrangement Hall, etc.

Ziwei Tower, establishing an assembly hall, akin to the previous Clan Council, retaining its function of legislation and major position appointments.

The number of halls established depends on demand, setting up six or seven halls isn’t an issue if necessary.

With such adjustments, the functions of each tower become more distinctly outlined, making position roles and authorities more explicit.

”Let’s do this, you shall serve as the Tower Lord of Ziwei Tower!” Yang Zhenshan addressed Yang Chengmao.

”What, me? Shouldn’t Grandfather take on this role?” Yang Chengmao was taken aback.

Yang Zhenshan waved dismissively, ”No need, from now on, you will lead the developments in White Jade City!”

He didn’t need to hold any position, the Spirit Source Land belonged to him, his control over the Spirit Source Land came from himself, not the power of a position.

Moreover, he didn’t have time for trivial matters, previously, he rarely meddled in the Clan Hall’s affairs, going forward, he would meddle even less.

Yang Chengmao had performed well before, familiar with the affairs of the Clan Hall, he could quickly adapt to White Jade City’s responsibilities.

Thus, having him serve as the Tower Lord of Ziwei Tower is most suitable.
