Clan Rise: Starting as a Grandfather

Chapter 1129: Chapter 763: Specialties of the Spirit Source Land

Yang Zhenshan gestured for them to sit down, then turned to Yang Mingcheng and said, ”Tobacco, alcohol, and tea will be our main products. Although we have been producing them before, we haven’t set any targets. From now on, we need to produce them in large quantities!”

”Ming Cheng, Treasure Hall should come up with a plan for this, organize manpower, establish workshops, and ensure the Commerce Department’s supply needs!”

There is no need to say much about alcohol and tea; they have always been the most important specialties of the Spirit Source Land.

As for tobacco, it also has a market among martial artists, although the market is not very large, as only a minority of martial artists smoke.

What Yang Zhenshan referred to was not ordinary tobacco, but spiritual plant-level tobacco.

This is considered an accidental product of the Spirit Source Land.

When Yang Zhenshan sowed seeds back then, he might have scattered some tobacco seeds, and Treasure Hall accidentally discovered a tobacco leaf that had advanced to a spiritual plant while searching for spiritual medicine.

Originally, they intended to cultivate it into a herbal medicine, but later they found that this stuff is similar to ordinary tobacco leaves and can also be made into tobacco.

Moreover, this tobacco leaf contains spiritual energy. Inhaling it not only doesn’t harm the lungs but also has a soothing effect on them.

The effect isn’t very miraculous but has a slight benefit for cultivation and can serve as a supplementary resource for cultivation.

Yang Zhenshan personally tested it and thought it was pretty good, so he asked Treasure Hall to increase the cultivation of this thing.

Currently, the cultivation scale of tobacco leaves isn’t very large, but next year the scale can be expanded, and by then, tobacco with spiritual energy can be produced in large quantities.

Therefore, Yang Zhenshan designated it as one of the leading specialties of the Spirit Source Land.

”Understood!” Yang Mingcheng stood up and replied.

Yang Zhenshan continued, ”Establish a Beast Taming Department and a Spiritual Insect Department under Treasure Hall. The Beast Taming Department will focus on training beast tamers and breeding Red Cloud Horses for now, while later Green Wolves, Flying Slave Eagles, and Snowfield Deer will also be handed over to the Beast Taming Department for cultivation!”

”In addition, the Beast Taming Department can also train other mutant beasts. There are many wild beasts in the mountains evolving into mutant beasts; you can capture some to cultivate!”

”As for the Spiritual Insect Department, we currently have two types of spiritual insects, Snow Silkworms and spirit bees; these need to be cultivated carefully, and Treasure Hall should have a plan for them too!”

Spiritual insects are a very magical existence; although they don’t possess the powerful combat ability like mutant beasts, they can produce many special items.

Such as snow silkworm silk and spirit bee honey, which are popular products in the Sea of Spirit.

Although in terms of value, they are far less than Spirit Pills or spiritual weapons, their market is vast, especially snow silkworm silk, which is the main material for martial artists’ clothing.

Currently, Spirit Source Land also has a workshop specializing in silkworm cultivation and silk production, albeit small in scale.

As for beekeeping, it’s even yet to begin.

Yang Zhenshan hopes Spirit Source Land can develop comprehensively; alchemy, artifact refining, array formations, beast taming, textile, spiritual insects, cultivation, etc., should all have a development plan.

Alchemy, artifact refining, and arrays are just starting, currently at the talent cultivation stage, but beast taming, textile, spiritual insect farming, and spiritual plant cultivation in Spirit Source Land have already made the most critical step; next just needs to expand the scale.

After discussing Treasure Hall matters, Yang Zhenshan spoke to Yang Chengze, Wang Mingzhe, and others about the Alchemy Workshop, Artifact Refining Workshop, and Array Formation Department.

Currently, the Alchemy Workshop is progressing the fastest, able to refine seven or eight types of elixirs, but the manpower to refine Spirit Pills is still limited, unable to sell in bulk. However, cultivating alchemists has always been Spirit Source Land’s top priority; it is believed that in a few years, Spirit Source Land will have a large batch of lower-grade alchemists capable of mass refining lower-grade Spirit Pills.

The Artifact Refining Workshop progresses a bit slower, currently barely able to forge lower-grade spiritual weapons, also facing a manpower shortage. Large-scale forging of spiritual weapons would require at least five to six years of accumulation.

No need to discuss the remaining Array Formation Department; they are still researching the basic runes of arrays, unable to set up a complete array until now.

Therefore, currently, the specialties Spirit Source Land can sell outward are tobacco, alcohol, and tea.

The day after the clan meeting concluded, Yang Zhenshan went to Lingxi Mountain.

”How is the situation in Yu Mountain Town?”

In the courtyard of the Lingxi Yang Family, Yang Zhenshan asked Li Chang.

Li Chang shook his head, ”Still the same; always fighting, both sides have casualties!”

Since Yang Zhenshan returned from the Ancient Relic Array, the Three Sects Twelve Clans have begun a war with the Nether Prison Sect.

The battlefield is located three hundred miles east of Yu Mountain Town, within the mountain range. Initially, the conflicts were small-scale, but over time, the scale of fighting between both sides grew larger.

Currently, there are over three thousand Innate Martial Artists gathered near Yu Mountain Town, even the Lu family participated, and Lan Peng went to Yu Mountain Town, not returning to Nanqing Mountain.

Their wars are not like mundane wars, focusing on capturing territory.

Of course, they are also battling over resources and forces, resulting in a thorough war of attrition.

Consuming resources, consuming lives—a true Asura field.

Many small families were also drawn onto the battlefield by the Three Sects Twelve Clans, causing Nanxia County to become quite desolate.

”Hmm, let’s go to Cold Valley County!”

Yang Zhenshan was not concerned with the war between the three great sects and Nether Prison Sect; he hoped they would keep fighting for more years, with more casualties.
