Clan Rise: Starting as a Grandfather

Chapter 924: Chapter 660: Spiritual Spring Medicinal Soup (Part 3)

Yang Chengye laughed, ”Uncle, have you forgotten there’s a nephew-in-law in the Southern Border Town?”

Yang Mingzhao was taken aback, then immediately thought of Yang Wanqing.

”You want to drag the Qu family into this?”

Yang Chengye’s lips curled slightly, ”It’s inevitable, but there’s no rush. We can take it slow!”

”Once I raise troops in Chongshan Town, the Qu family will have to make a choice. With Wanqing there, Duke Xing is sure to choose us!”

”But what we can offer the Qu family isn’t much, at most another hereditary duke title, so in fact, I hope they don’t leave Southern Border Town!”

Yang Mingzhao laughed heartily, ”You, indeed, think quite far ahead!”

Yang Chengye didn’t hide it, ”There’s no choice, at this point, I naturally have to think long-term!”

”Duke Xing, Marquis Changping, Marquis Haichang, Uncle Anshun, these are all our family’s through marriage, so we should win them over!”

”Duke Ning, Marquis Nanyang, Marquis Jianliang, they’re always close with our family, so we should win them over too!”

”And there’s also the six families of the Tenglong Guard, the Luo family, the Zhen family, the Lv family, etc., they’re sure to help!”

”And any close people and powers, as long as they’re willing to help, I can grant them a hereditary noble title when the time comes.”

”I’ve already thought it through, six dukes, twelve marquises, thirty-six earls, all hereditary, becoming nobles of the new dynasty.”

”The Qu family, the Liang family, the Zhou family, the Xue family, the Xie family, the Han family, will be the six dukes!”

”As for marquises and earls, whoever contributes more will be granted!”

Yang Chengye hasn’t been idle these days; he’s already considering which forces to leverage next, even thinking about future arrangements for various families.

Which powers and families can be won over, which must be destroyed, which ones need looking after, and how to build a new stable group of nobles, etc.

Once not in the position, don’t manage its affairs, but now Yang Chengye knows he can’t decline; he’s ready to contend for the world and establish a new dynasty, so naturally, he must plan for the long-term.

And now his greatest reliance is not Chongshan Town but the Yang family’s connections built over the years.

Yang Mingzhao thought for a moment and said, ”Alright, I’ll help you take Bashu and keep an eye on Anxi Town and Wusi Town! This is my little uncle’s support for you!”

”Haha, nephew toasts uncle!”

Yang Chengye toasted with tea instead of wine.

In the following days, Yang Chengye began visiting various families on the island. He first visited Jiang He, and the first one he roped in was his cousin Jiang Feng, followed by Liang Qing’an and Lin Yaozong, and then Wang Mingzhe’s son Wang Chengxue.

Among these four, Jiang Feng was the oldest, at twenty-six this year. Liang Qing’an, Lin Yaozong, and Wang Chengxue were almost the same age, all just in their early twenties.

Then he visited each family in turn, recruiting a young talent from each.

In just a few days, he had nearly twenty young talents by his side.

Although these people are very young, they are all talents selected from each family.

The news of Yang Chengye’s ambition to contend for the world in Da Rong had already spread, and the heads of the families on Divine Wood Island had all received the message.

Compared to Yang Chengyou establishing the Dajing Dynasty, they were much more enthusiastic about Yang Chengye establishing a new dynasty in Da Rong. While not saying they’d give their all, they were supporting as much as possible.
