BTTH: Rebirth of Liu Xi

”Alright, got it!”

Zi Yan responded crisply, her amethyst eyes locking on the distant Sky Poison Dragon Scorpion Beast. Within them, threads of regal violet light began to shimmer, growing sharper with every passing heartbeat.

Though her opponent’s strength was undeniable, Zi Yan felt no fear. Instead, a fierce anger stirred deep in her chest—an instinctive rage born from her bloodline itself.

As one of noble descent, being challenged by a lesser creature was an unforgivable insult.

A ruler’s blood must never be defied!

At Liu Xi’s silent command, the Earth Demon Puppet suspended in midair stirred. Its hollow eyes flared with a cold gleam, and with a thunderous boom, it streaked forward like a bolt of silver lightning, smashing through the air toward the Sky Poison Dragon Scorpion Beast.

The beast’s face turned icy. Murder filled its scarlet eyes as it sneered, ”Once I tear that puppet apart, I’ll kill the rest of you next!”

Its blood-red claws extended. With a sweep of its dragon wings, its form blurred into a crimson shadow, claws slashing down like blades against the puppet’s steel torso.

Bang!

Clang—!

Sparks burst like meteors, the screech of metal grinding against metal echoing painfully through the ravine.

As the two figures crossed paths, the Sky Poison Dragon Scorpion Beast stumbled back, clutching its chest—the puppet’s raw strength had nearly crushed its ribs.

The Earth Demon Puppet bore five shallow gashes across its chest, but its blank eyes betrayed no pain. Silver light flickered once more, and the puppet vanished, reappearing like a phantom to strike again.

Meanwhile, Zi Yan’s once-playful face had grown solemn. Her delicate hands formed a series of blinding seals, each one rippling with draconic energy.

Suddenly—whoosh!—a torrent of amethyst radiance erupted from her body, flooding the air with divine brilliance.

Her small frame expanded rapidly, limbs stretching, curves blossoming. In moments, she stood transformed—a breathtaking woman with a slender waist, proud curves, and violet hair cascading to her hips.

Her tight-fitting clothes strained under the new figure’s power, fabric trembling as if on the verge of surrender. Liu Xi’s heart skipped a beat; he could almost hear the poor garment’s silent cry of resistance.

Then Zi Yan turned her head, mischief curling her lips. Her violet eyes sparkled as she teased, ”Big Brother, aren’t they impressive? Not any smaller than Sister Xian’er’s, right?”

Liu Xi coughed, forcing his gaze away. ’Now’s not the time for this conversation... there’ll be plenty of time for comparisons later.’

”Zi Yan, focus. We have business to handle.”

”Tch. Says the one who couldn’t even blink while staring,” she shot back with a grin, before turning toward the Sky Poison Dragon Scorpion Beast. Her expression hardened once more, and she raised her hand, voice ringing out like thunder:

”Soul Manifestation!”

A burst of blinding violet light erupted from the crown of her head, cascading across the heavens. The light converged, condensing into the shape of a colossal, majestic beast spirit.

Its true form was hidden within the dazzling glow, but the overwhelming dragon’s might it exuded left no doubt.

The instant the spectral beast appeared, it unleashed a deafening roar. The shockwave rippled outward as waves of violet energy that tore through the air itself.

The Sky Poison Dragon Scorpion Beast froze midair, its body stiffening instinctively. The Earth Demon Puppet, unaffected by the pressure, seized the moment—its massive fist slammed directly into the beast’s face.

”Aaargh!”

The creature’s agonized scream echoed as its body plummeted to the ground. Its nose shattered, tears and snot streaming freely down its once-handsome face—a sight both pitiful and grotesque.

Boom!

It crashed into the ground, leaving a crater in its wake. Raising its head weakly, it looked up at the violet phantom in the sky—and terror filled its eyes.

Its wounds were trivial. What truly horrified it was the presence above—an aura it could neither resist nor comprehend.

Fear. Submission. Despair.

One by one, these emotions flooded its mind. From the depths of its bloodline came a primal recognition—the ancient fear of a superior dragon race.

Its once-proud power began to unravel, its blood trembling, its Dou Qi faltering. In mere moments, half of its strength was stripped away—its might falling from that of an 8-Star Dou Zong to a mere 4-Star level.

BOOM!

Thunder split the sky once more as the Earth Demon Puppet descended like a lightning bolt. Tackling the beast to the ground, it straddled its chest and unleashed a barrage of devastating punches.

Fist after fist crashed into the Sky Poison Dragon Scorpion Beast’s face until even the heavens seemed to tremble.

Liu Xi’s eyes shone with delight. The suppression of Zi Yan’s Ancient Void Dragon bloodline was even stronger than he’d imagined.

Moments ago, the Sky Poison Dragon Scorpion Beast had fought the Earth Demon Puppet evenly. Now it could only writhe helplessly as the puppet pounded it into the dirt.

He had originally planned to summon his Three Heavenly Flames—the Green Lotus Core Flame, Sea Heart Flame, and Transmuted Flame—to form the Five Ring Flame Expelling Formation.

Unfortunately, his strongest flame, the Fallen Heart Flame, was still refining the Demonic Poison Spot, leaving it unavailable.

But with Zi Yan’s bloodline suppression, perhaps Ah Da alone would be enough to kill the beast.

”Zi Yan, how much longer can you maintain that state?”

Her eyes glowed like molten amethyst, her voice resonant with draconic majesty. ”If I only sustain my manifested form, I can hold it for fifteen minutes at least!”

Liu Xi grinned, azure flame wings unfurling behind him. ”That’s plenty.”

The Sky Poison Dragon Scorpion Beast’s face was a bloody ruin, its expression twisting with fury. Snarling, it whipped its scorpion tail around Ah Da’s waist, then with a mighty jerk, hurled the puppet skyward.

Spreading its wings, it staggered upright and leapt back, eyes wide and trembling as it stared at the phantom above.

”The… Ancient Dragon… That’s the power of the Ancient Dragon bloodline! Has my own bloodline forsaken me? No! I won’t die here!”

With a roar of desperation, it stomped the ground, fissures webbing beneath its feet as it launched itself into the sky.

ROAR—!

The poisonous clouds above began to churn wildly, spiraling into a colossal vortex of venom that devoured the surrounding mist.

From afar, within the army of venomous beasts, two 4-Star Dou Zongs watched in shock at their master’s humiliation.

The fat one roared and swung a massive hammer toward Yao Tianhuo, only to have every strike dissolved effortlessly.

The thin one hesitated, clearly reluctant to fight in earnest, his hesitation giving Yao Tianhuo even more freedom to suppress them both.

Elsewhere, Xiao Yixian was a vision of death within a shroud of gray-black poison mist.

Every venomous beast that charged her—fangs bared, eyes crimson—fell where it stood.

One step closer, one corpse more.

No creature in existence could rival the Woeful Poison Body. Even beasts that fed on poison withered before her touch.
