Ghost Catching System

Chapter 136: Chapter 136: Descend Head Straw Doll (1 more update)_1

Ma Li was furious, hurling her bag at him.

Chu Hao caught it with one hand, effortlessly tearing the LV bag to shreds and tossing it behind him.

The crowd was stunned by his strength.

”DING... Host has successfully shown off, earning 70 Pretentiousness Points.”

”My LV bag!”

Ma Li was beside herself with rage. That bag was worth 200,000!

Chu Hao looked coldly at the police officers and said, ”Five seconds have passed. Your 500,000 is gone.”

The two police officers’ eyes bulged. Was he serious?

Ma Li roared, ”What are you standing there for? Arrest him now! I want him in prison for life!”

Chu Hao remained calm. ”Lock me up for life? I truly suspect your brain is full of shit. But then again, your son is a piece of rat shit.”

What the hell! How dare she call me a bastard? Just watch, I’ll verbally destroy her!

”Old hag, you were born to be cursed, with despicableness in your very bones.”

”Right! I did a divination for you just now. Turns out your ancestors ran a brothel. It really runs in the family—a whole line of degenerate trash.”

”Don’t try to deny it. I rarely curse people, but you thoroughly deserve it.”

Ma Li was staggering. Indeed, she was so infuriated her lungs felt like they were about to explode.

The whole class was gobsmacked, but deep down they felt immensely satisfied.

Even the homeroom teacher felt a rush of pleasure.

At last, someone from the school administration arrived in the classroom—the school director.

He hastily asked, ”Ms. Mary, what happened?”

Ma Li said, ”You’ve come at the right time, Director Jiang. This class has no respect for elders, and even the homeroom teacher shares their deplorable attitude; they should be expelled. The rest should be severely punished, especially this Chu Hao. He crippled Wang Qi, and I’m taking him to the police station!”

The homeroom teacher’s face changed.

As for the other students, they were furious. This woman was being utterly unreasonable.

Upon hearing this, Director Jiang was incensed. With a stern face, he asked, ”Teacher Wu, is this true?”

The homeroom teacher was at a loss. After all, she didn’t dare offend the director.

Director Jiang snorted. ”Teacher Wu, you are suspended from teaching for a while. Go home and reflect on your actions.”

The homeroom teacher’s face turned pale as she said, ”Director, it’s senior year! Suspending classes now will affect the students.”

Ma Li was smug, thinking these powerless teachers and students actually thought they could fight her?

Director Jiang ignored the teacher and said to Chu Hao, ”As for you, Chu Hao, go with the police officers.”

”Cooperate? My ass!” Chu Hao cursed outright.

Director Jiang’s face changed, and he snapped angrily, ”What did you say? Say it again if you dare!”

Chu Hao replied coldly, ”Old hag, you say your son is crippled? Fine, then I’ll make sure he’s crippled even more thoroughly.”

”System, I want to buy a Descend Head Straw Doll.”

”DING... Host has purchased a Descend Head Straw Doll, consuming 200 Pretentiousness Points.”

Descend Head Straw Doll: One of the Eastern Evil Techniques. Effective immediately upon casting a spell on the straw doll. Unique item.

Chu Hao took out a strand of hair he had obtained from Wang Qi’s head earlier, having kept it as a contingency.

He tied the hair onto the straw doll, chanting several incantations to activate the Descend Head Straw Doll.

”Respect, lo, gee, ba, da, sā, tee!”

After finishing the incantation, he took hold of the straw doll’s leg and gently snapped it.

The crowd looked on, not understanding what he was doing.

Director Jiang frowned and asked, ”What are you doing?”

Chu Hao sneered, ”Not much. Her son isn’t completely crippled yet, is he? I’m just speeding up the process.”

As he spoke, he broke another arm off the doll.

A short while later, someone ran into the classroom, out of breath.

Liu Chan, his head wrapped in bandages, cried out in panic, ”Ms. Mary! It’s terrible! Wang... Wang Qi, his leg is broken!”

What!

Ma Li was stunned and immediately ran out.

Arriving at the infirmary, she indeed saw her son. His feet and hands were twisted at unnatural angles, as if someone had forcibly broken them.

Wang Qi screamed in agony, ”Mom... save me! AAAHH!! It’s killing me!”

Everyone was horrified. Recalling the straw doll Chu Hao had been holding earlier, a chill ran down their spines.

Ma Li was utterly dumbfounded, as were the police officers and Director Jiang behind her.

CRACK!

As they stood there in a daze, they heard a sharp CRACK!—the sound of a bone in Wang Qi’s finger snapping.

One, two, three...

All ten fingers were broken.

”Mom... Mom, save me!” Wang Qi fainted from the pain, frothing at the mouth.

A terrifying and sinister atmosphere spread, making everyone’s scalp tingle with dread. Ma Li screamed in terror, ”It’s him! It must be him! Stop him, quickly!”

Back in the classroom, Chu Hao was sitting calmly, a cold smile playing on his lips.

The students were all very curious, wondering what had just happened.

Seeing Ma Li and the others enter, Chu Hao said indifferently, ”Is your son crippled yet?”

”DING... Host has delivered a shocking display of pretentiousness, gaining 140 Pretentiousness Points.”

The two police officers felt their scalps tingle, cold sweat beading on their foreheads, their faces filled with disbelief.

Ma Li, especially, was pointing at Chu Hao, speechless, her face stricken with horror.

”You! You did this?” Ma Li trembled with fear.

Chu Hao, arms crossed, chuckled coldly. ”Your son isn’t crippled because of me. You cursed him to be crippled yourself.”

Ma Li screamed, truly like a shrew, ”AHH!! I’m going to kill you, you little bastard! I’m going to kill you!”

Ma Li went berserk. Many people felt that this woman wasn’t just suffering from a hormonal imbalance; she was more extreme than Madam Miejie.

Two people entered the classroom: Vice Principal Ma Dehua and Principal Lu Junhe.

With a ferocious expression, Ma Li pointed at Chu Hao and said, ”Principal Lu, you’ve finally arrived! I insist this little beast be locked up in jail! I don’t care what methods you use!”

Director Jiang also said, ”Principal, this person spews nothing but foul language and shows no respect for his elders. Xingmeng School does not need such a student. It’s best to expel him as soon as possible.”

Everyone’s breathing quickened. Now that the principal had arrived, this was serious trouble.

They heard Lu Junhe speak, his tone somber, ”Indeed, things have gone too far.”

A wave of relief washed over the onlookers, especially Ma Li, whose expression twisted as she glared at Chu Hao.

Chu Hao looked at Director Jiang and sighed, ”People who don’t court death won’t die. Director Jiang, you certainly carry yourself with a grand air.”

Director Jiang was taken aback and said indignantly, ”You’ll be expelled! Definitely!”

Chu Hao, arms still crossed, watched the drama unfold with a cold gaze.

Lu Junhe said, ”Director Jiang, please submit your resignation letter tomorrow.”

Director Jiang was stunned, his face a picture of disbelief, thinking he had misheard. Pointing to himself, he stammered, ”Principal, a resignation letter? Me...?”

Lu Junhe nodded, his voice cold. ”Yes! Come submit your resignation letter tomorrow. You may leave now.”

Director Jiang was completely panicked, utterly dumbfounded. ”Principal! No, that’s not right! There must be some mistake! Why me...?”

Lu Junhe waved dismissively. ”Enough. Xingmeng School does not need someone like you.”

Director Jiang: ”...”

He was completely shattered. What the hell was happening? The principal came, and now *he* was being fired? Was it because he wanted to expel Chu Hao that the principal decided to get rid of him?

Vice Principal Ma Dehua sneered inwardly. He, too, had expelled Chu Hao once and ended up unable to eat or sleep properly for days, tormented to hell and back. And you? You’re just getting expelled, you fool.

At the same time, he sighed. Director Jiang was truly courting death. Of all people to provoke at such a critical juncture, he had to choose Chu Hao!

Ma Li, her face grim, said, ”Principal Lu, what do you mean? The person you should be expelling is this little bastard!”

Chu Hao’s anger flared at her words. ”Old bitch, who are *you* calling a little bastard?”

Everyone gasped. Chu Hao was too fierce, but they all felt his retort was immensely satisfying.

Lu Junhe said with a cold look, ”Ms. Mary, go back and tell your husband that Star Dream High School will be withdrawing all its shares from his ventures.”

Ma Li was dumbfounded.
