Ghost Catching System

Chapter 112: Chapter 112: Giving You the Chance, Make Your Move_1

Zhong Minyue’s face was flushed with shame. Just now, when she was pushed down to the ground, Chu Hao had accidentally placed his hand on her chest and even gave it a squeeze. The electrifying sensation almost made her legs give way.

Chu Hao was speechless and said, ”Master, what are you doing? You gave me quite a fright.”

Zhong Minyue felt helpless. She didn’t even know how many times she had been taken advantage of. She said, ”I came to tell Master Chu that someone is casting spells downstairs, aiming to harm you.”

Chu Hao paused for a moment, walked over to the window, and immediately saw someone in a dark corner.

A person was burning paper money and lighting incense, facing in his direction.

Damn it! I’m not even dead yet, and you’re burning paper money for me? This is definitely a curse.

Chu Hao nodded and said, ”I’ll take care of it.”

He went downstairs and rushed out in a flash. The person suddenly realized what was happening and turned to run.

”HIYAH!” Chu Hao shouted, and with one kick, sent the man sprawling face-first onto the ground.

As he picked up the man, he realized it wasn’t Dong Qi but the person who had been surveilling him at the internet café. He scoffed, ”You think you can curse me with these pathetic skills?”

The man’s face was pale, wearing a sinister smile.

Chu Hao had the Yin Yang Ring, which allowed him to see the ghost inside the man’s body. This immediately angered him, and he said, ”Smile my ass. Let’s see if you can still smile later.”

Chu Hao took out a talisman. This was the Talisman Curse: ”With one stroke, I command the spirits to heed, all gods and ghosts shall retreat, I pray to the Grand Supreme Elderly Lord, let this decree be swift as the law.”

He slapped it onto the man’s forehead. The ghost was forced out, letting out a terrible scream before turning to flee.

Chu Hao grabbed it in one swift motion and gave it a hefty slap.

”AAAH!” The Fierce Ghost screamed, looking at Chu Hao in horror.

Chu Hao said, ”Go on, laugh.”

The Fierce Ghost made a face uglier than crying.

Another slap resounded, and the Fierce Ghost let out a shriek. With the Yin Yang Ring on, Chu Hao was able to touch ghosts, unlike ordinary people.

Moreover, the soul of a ghost is inherently fragile. A slap from him was ten times more painful than it would be for a living person.

Chu Hao commented, ”You have no standards, trying to use ghost possession to watch me like you’re some kind of secret agent 007.”

”DING... The host has made a pretentious comment, gaining 60 Pretentiousness Points.”

The Fierce Ghost trembled in terror and said, ”Great... great sir, I was just following orders. Please don’t destroy me.”

”Where is your master? Take me to him.”

The Fierce Ghost immediately agreed, fearing another slap from Chu Hao.

Zhong Minyue approached and said, ”Master Chu, allow me to accompany you.”

Chu Hao nodded, and the two set off together, arriving at a distant, old alleyway. It was nearly demolished, with rubble and abandoned buildings everywhere.

”He’s... he’s inside there.”

The Fierce Ghost pointed to a small house, its voice trembling.

Chu Hao walked over and kicked the door open. The person sleeping inside was immediately jolted awake.

Chu Hao was just about to show off when an excited voice said, ”Catch him!”

From all directions, four or five people burst in, their hooks catching Chu Hao’s hands and feet, rendering him immobile.

The lights in the room turned on, revealing Dong Qi and several others looking at Chu Hao with mocking expressions.

Dong Qi, the master of the Drought Fiend, was an ordinary-looking middle-aged man with considerable evil techniques, as he had managed to create a monster like the Drought Fiend.

He said viciously, ”Kid, I told you I’d come back for revenge. Didn’t expect it so soon, did you?”

Chu Hao glanced around. The Fierce Ghost had deceived him—this was a trap. They had already laid an ambush here.

There were five of them in total, but Chu Hao wasn’t the least bit nervous. He said, ”Is this all the manpower you’ve got? I, as a Taoist Master, am very disappointed.”

The other four were both shocked and furious. This kid was way too arrogant, not even realizing the dire situation he was in.

A gaunt man said, ”Kid, you’re still so arrogant when death is staring you in the face. I’m going to flay you.”

Damn! Definitely the Evil Cult. They’re always so keen on skinning people and ripping out tendons. I’m so scared.

Chu Hao fixed his gaze on him and said, ”I, the Taoist Master, will remember you.”

Dong Qi sneered. ”Kid, you dared to annihilate my Drought Fiend and ruin my plans. I will turn you into a Blood Corpse, severely torment your soul, and make you wish for a death that won’t come.”

Chu Hao’s eyes grew icy. ”Never mind your Thousand-year Drought Fiend; even a Ten-thousand-year Drought Fiend wouldn’t make me bat an eye. You’ll soon realize what kind of person you’ve provoked.”

Indeed, that statement intimidated Dong Qi. After all, the last encounter had greatly shaken him; Diao Chan was indeed too terrifying.

”DING... The host’s outstanding pretentiousness earned 60 Pretentiousness Points.”

Suddenly, someone burst into the room—it was Zhong Minyue. She shouted, ”Release Master Chu!”

The four men were startled—there was another person. The moment Dong Qi saw Zhong Minyue, he froze, exclaiming, ”Min Yue, junior sister?”

Zhong Minyue glanced at Dong Qi, equally surprised, and said, ”Dong Qi, senior brother.”

Chu Hao was also dumbfounded.

What the hell? Are these two on the same side?

Damn it! Was Zhong Minyue also from the Nether Cult?

Zhong Minyue snapped out of it and yelled sternly, ”Dong Qi, you betrayed your mentor and dishonored our lineage! The order from our sect is clear—should we encounter you, we must kill you on sight!”

Dong Qi shook his head. ”Min Yue, you are no match for me. This kid must die.”

Several silver needles appeared in Zhong Minyue’s hand, and she swiftly threw them. The five men holding Chu Hao cried out in pain and released their hooks.

”Master Chu, get out of here! I’ll hold them off!”

Dong Qi shouted angrily, ”Zhong Minyue, you don’t know what’s good for you! Do you really think I wouldn’t dare to kill you?”

Hey, hey... Are you acting as if I don’t exist?

Zhong Minyue took a deep breath and said, ”Dong Qi, repent and return to the right path.”

Dong Qi roared, ”I have no path to return to! That old fart Zhong Yizhen, I followed him for so long, but in the end, he passed the Suppressing Evil Seal to you and expelled me from the sect! Fine! Today, I’ll take back the Suppressing Evil Seal and kill you all!”

Chu Hao couldn’t help but speak up, ”Are you acting like I don’t exist?”

Dong Qi’s face twisted with rage. ”Kid, you destroyed my Drought Fiend, the culmination of my life’s work! I’ll grind your bones to dust!”

Chu Hao’s foot flew up and kicked Dong Qi squarely in the face, fast and vicious. Dong Qi’s face contorted as he was sent flying, crashing heavily against the wall.

Chu Hao said casually, ”I gave you a chance, but you’re just shameless. Who do you think you are? Listen well, I am the strongest BOSS here. What are you compared to me?”

”DING... The host’s successful display of arrogance earned 60 Pretentiousness Points.”

The others were taken aback. The force behind that kick was unexpectedly powerful. Even Zhong Minyue was surprised. She knew Chu Hao had vanquished the Yin-Yang Child Demon but hadn’t expected him to be so formidable in combat.

Chu Hao’s gaze turned greedy as he eyed the four men. ”Since you’re from the Nether Cult, you might have learned some Evil Techniques. Come on and give me some Experience Points.”

”You lot, don’t say I didn’t give you a chance. Whatever moves you’ve got, bring them on.”
