Ghost Catching System

Chapter 122: Chapter 122: Embarrassment (1st Update)_1

Chu Hao was furious. He grabbed one of the Flirty Female Ghosts and hoisted her up. ”Son of a bitch, daring to play tricks on this Taoist Master!”

The three girls were startled. They couldn’t see the Female Ghost and had no idea why Chu Hao was going crazy.

The rest of the Flirty Female Ghosts, scared off, ran away. Chu Hao had no interest in pursuing them. Glaring at the Female Ghost he was choking, he snapped, ”Are you looking for death?”

The Flirty Female Ghost was terrified and spat out a breath of Gui Yin at Chu Hao.

Chu Hao’s vision blurred, and he shivered, instinctively releasing his grip, which allowed the Flirty Female Ghost to escape.

He then remembered that his Golden Bell Pendant had shattered. He had actually been tricked by the Flirty Female Ghost.

Yi Qinglian quickly asked, ”What’s wrong?”

Chu Hao was beside himself with anger. The great Divine Master Bi Wang, actually aroused by a ghost!

FUCK!!

Telling this to anyone would be an utter disgrace.

Therefore, he didn’t want to reveal the truth to the three girls. ”This restaurant is haunted. Just now there was a ghost under our table, scared away by my mighty presence.”

The three girls were shocked and shuddered in unison.

After all, any normal person would be afraid of creepy stuff.

Chu Hao found it odd that the System had not reacted despite the Female Ghost’s prolonged teasing.

System: ”Host’s level has been upgraded to apprentice. Xiao Gui, Evil Ghosts, and Diabolos are no longer within the notification scope.”

So that was it; he was no longer just a Ghost-catcher in training.

Chu Hao was full of ire. He had been led around in circles. Liu Qingyan probably hadn’t intended to tease him tonight. Thinking it was her teasing him, he had teased back, tempting fate.

DAMMIT!!

There was no way to explain this one.

Chu Hao stood up. ”You all wait here, I’ll be right back.”

Tang Mo quickly said, ”I’ll go too.”

Catching a ghost? It sounded thrilling.

Yi Qinglian was also curious. ”I want to go, too.”

Liu Qingyan followed along as well.

Alright, let them witness the might of this Taoist Master.

Chu Hao set off in pursuit, thinking that as soon as he caught up with them, he would annihilate that group of Flirtatious Ghosts.

While chasing the Flirty Female Ghosts, they ended up at the hotel connected to the restaurant. Looking up, Chu Hao saw the Flirty Female Ghosts floating towards the fourteenth floor.

The four took the elevator. Tang Mo was about to press the button for the fourteenth floor but realized there was no button for the fourteenth floor.

This was a bit strange. Was there no fourteenth-floor button in the elevator?

Chu Hao glanced at it and immediately said, ”Go to the thirteenth floor.”

After reaching the thirteenth floor and stepping out of the elevator, the four opted for the staircase to go up.

Upon taking the stairs, they found that there was still no fourteenth floor. The thirteenth floor led directly to the fifteenth.

Liu Qingyan’s heartbeat accelerated as she said palely, ”This... could this be a ghost wall?”

Ghost walls are a common trick used by ghosts to confuse people. For example, when walking at night, one might find themselves wandering around the same place. Or, in a hotel, there might be room 113, but no room 114, with the next room being 115. That’s a ghost wall.

But Chu Hao frowned, because he hadn’t seen any Ghosts. Could this Ghost be very powerful?

Chu Hao took out an Illusion-Breaking Talisman and sneered, ”No Ghost, no Illusion Technique, can hide from this Taoist Master.”

The three girls looked on expectantly.

Chu Hao thought it was a good time to show off, so he recited the charm for the Illusion-Breaking Talisman, and the Talisman Paper burst into flames.

Still, there was no reaction.

Going up from the thirteenth floor, it was still the fifteenth that followed. Chu Hao was confused.

Something was off, wasn’t it? The ghost wall should’ve been broken, right? And then I’d show off some more.

Tang Mo looked at Chu Hao with suspicion and asked, ”Can you actually do this, or not?”

Chu Hao was speechless. Was there an illusion that couldn’t be dealt with by the Illusion-Breaking Talisman? How powerful must this Ghost be?

They ran up and down a few more times, but it was still just the thirteenth and fifteenth floors.

The four of them were panting, especially Yi Qinglian and Liu Qingyan; both women were now sweating profusely. At a glance, their skin was glistening, and the swath of snowy whiteness on their chests was mesmerizing.

Chu Hao also felt a bit alarmed and said with utmost caution, ”Be careful, this Ghost is extremely powerful.”

The three women were surprised and felt scared even with Chu Hao by their side.

Just then, a cleaning lady on the thirteenth floor asked, ”Young men, what are you all running around for? What are you trying to do?”

Chu Hao hurriedly said, ”Auntie, how come there’s no fourteenth floor here? We suspect we’re caught in an Illusion Technique.”

The auntie blinked and said with a laugh, ”Young man, you’ve been playing too many video games, haven’t you? Illusion Techniques, ha! The hotel is new, and the decorators mistakenly labeled the fourteenth floor as the fifteenth. They’re coming to fix it tomorrow.”

Chu Hao: ”...”

The three women: ”...”

To hell with it! What kind of incompetent decorator was this? You nearly scared people to death! Even I, Divine Master Bi Wang, felt terrified. I’ve really lost face this time.

Tang Mo looked at Chu Hao with disdain and said, ”You’re messing with us, right? Do you actually have the ability to catch Ghosts or not? And you call yourself a Taoist Master.”

Being looked down upon! Chu Hao was thoroughly unconvinced. Just wait, Brother Hao will catch that Flirty Female Ghost, and then we’ll see what you do!

They arrived at the quiet corridor of the fifteenth floor.

Chu Hao immediately saw a Flirty Female Ghost drifting into a room and breathed a sigh of relief. Just you wait, Tang girl. I, Divine Master Bi Wang, am not called that for nothing!

They came to room 1914, the very room the Flirty Female Ghost had entered.

Chu Hao wasn’t in a hurry and said, ”You dare to doubt this Taoist Master? Let me show you whether there’s really a Ghost in here or not.”

Tang Mo replied with disdain, ”Fine, let’s go in and have a look.”

Chu Hao returned to the front desk, claiming to be a police officer. The pretty receptionist quickly got a room card and followed him up.

He granted the three women the Heavenly Eye, preparing to show off and regain his prestige. The receptionist opened the door, and Chu Hao charged in, yelling, ”Evildoer, surrender now!”

The three women also rushed in, only to be stunned by the sight before them.

They saw seven or eight people inside. The scene unfolding before them was simply too explicit to watch.

The women screamed, blushing as they covered their eyes.

Chu Hao also widened his eyes, nearly spouting a nosebleed. The scene was utterly lascivious and unbearable, with all sorts of acts being performed.

Especially the women, who were very beautiful.

That one’s no human!

The woman twisted her head to look at Chu Hao and the others, her features contorting grotesquely into a rotting face with two long, sharp fangs, resembling a Vampire.

The only two men in the room didn’t even notice Chu Hao and the others crashing in. Their faces were as pale as death, yet they remained absorbed in their pleasure, unable to extricate themselves.

Buddy, do you have to be so engrossed?!

Something’s wrong; these two men are clearly bewitched, lost in their own world.

The Flirtatious Ghost Diabolos on top, with her sharp and long fangs, bent her head and bit into the neck of the man below her. Blood SQUIRTED out, instantly staining the sheets.

The eerie part was that the man beneath her felt nothing at all. He didn’t feel the pain, still sunk in his immersion, a look of enjoyment on his face.

Even Chu Hao shuddered at such a way of dying.

Isn’t this just the pinnacle of pleasure under duress?!

Chu Hao roared, ”Harming people right before this Taoist Master? You’re courting death!”

A Flirty Female Ghost lunged at him, her pre-death appearance extremely terrifying, with gnashing teeth and flailing limbs.

With one strike of his sword, Chu Hao reduced her to ashes.

”Ding... Killed a Flirty Female Ghost. Gained 5,000 Experience Points.”

The Flirtatious Ghost Diabolos released the man’s neck, seductively licked the blood from the corner of her mouth, and her face returned to its alluring form—that of a very beautiful Female Ghost.

”Kid, mind your own business,” said the Flirtatious Ghost Diabolos.
