Ghost Catching System

Chapter 62: Chapter 62 You are Sick_1

Yi Qinglian was startled for a moment when her small hand was caught by a larger one. Her face turned red instantly, and she looked at Chu Hao with confusion.

Chu Hao took back the bank card and glared at the two waitresses. ”Watch your mouths,” he said.

The two women were obviously startled. They didn’t know that Chu Hao had heard all of their conversation.

Yi Qinglian asked, ”What’s wrong?”

Chu Hao sneered. ”A bunch of snobs who look down on others, your words are no better than farts. I’m sick of people like you.”

Waitress Number One wouldn’t have it and said disdainfully, ”Please show some respect. If you’re not buying, you can leave. No one’s stopping you.”

Waitress Number Two said, ”Did we offend you? Why are you speaking so rudely?”

Chu Hao sneered and pointed at Waitress Number Two. ”You just called someone a Little White Face! And you,” he said, gesturing to Waitress Number One, ”accused me of putting on an act? I can’t stand people like you. What do you think you are? A bunch of green tea bitches, do you really think you’re that noble?”

The two women were both shocked and angry. Chu Hao had overheard their conversation. What kind of hearing does this guy have to catch their words from such a distance?

At this moment, a middle-aged female manager walked over and asked, ”Number One, Number Two, what’s going on?”

Waitress Number One said, ”Manager, he’s cursing at us.”

Chu Hao said disgustedly, ”Calling you names is putting it lightly. Given your snobby attitude, looking down on people like you do, I’m definitely not buying anything now.”

”Don’t buy if you don’t want to. You just can’t afford it, can you?” Waitress Number One huffed.

Yi Qinglian was stunned for a moment but quickly understood the situation and said coldly, ”Manager, you need to better manage your staff’s conduct.”

The manager was troubled. Waitress Number One was said to be a relative of the owner and always a troublemaker.

She hurriedly said, ”We will handle this. I apologize to both of you.”

Waitress Number One was relentless. ”Country bumpkin! If you can’t afford it, don’t come to places like this, letting a woman pay for you. Calling you a Little White Face is being generous! What kind of trash are you?”

Chu Hao’s gaze turned icy.

He walked over, looked Waitress Number One up and down, and said coldly, ”Do you really think you’re all that? Pretending to be so pure... tsk tsk... So you carry a deathly aura. You’re sick, aren’t you? If your boss finds out you’re ill, do you think they’d kill you?”

Waitress Number One was startled and actually somewhat panicked. ”What are you talking about?”

Chu Hao pinched his fingers as if making a calculation and sneered, ”Turns out you’re a real scourge. Let me tell you the truth: you absolutely won’t live more than three years.”

Waitress Number One was shocked and angry, and also stunned by his words. Does he somehow know I have AIDS?

Chu Hao stared at her expression and scoffed, ”If I’m not mistaken, it’s AIDS, right?” He snorted. ”Planning to take revenge on society?”

The crowd was stunned, looking at Waitress Number One. Normally, if someone had accused her of having AIDS, she would have exploded in anger long ago. But now, Waitress Number One was extremely panicked.

Chu Hao said to the others, ”Keep your distance from her. Don’t say this Taoist Master didn’t warn you. She came here, probably to take revenge on society. Hah... AIDS? Trying to drag a few more people down with her, huh?”

”Ding... Host has successfully shown off and earned 20 Pretentiousness Points.”

Waitress Number One was completely panicked.

The others were startled and reflexively took a few steps back.

Shaking, she pointed at Chu Hao and said, ”What nonsense are you spouting?”

Chu Hao sneered, ”Whether I’m talking nonsense, you know best. Let’s go.”

Chu Hao took Yi Qinglian and turned to leave.

Waitress Number One’s gaze turned malicious as she produced a small needle, smeared with her blood, and stabbed towards Chu Hao.

Yi Qinglian saw it and screamed in alarm.

But Chu Hao whipped around and, with a flashy kick, sent her flying.

Everyone was dumbstruck.

”Call the police, quick!” the female manager shouted hurriedly.

Soon, the police arrived.

They found Waitress Number One’s medical records. She indeed had AIDS and had already transmitted it to seven people, one of whom was the store’s owner.

The people in the store were petrified.

Yi Qinglian also covered her small mouth, looking at Chu Hao in disbelief. How did he know that?

”How did you know?” Yi Qinglian asked curiously.

Chu Hao, with his hands behind his back, smiled. ”Have you forgotten what I do? Besides catching ghosts, I can also tell fortunes. Just now, by looking at her face, I knew this woman is afflicted by the Lonely Star and her aura shows signs of misfortune. She’s bound to go straight to Hell after death.”

”Ding... Host has successfully shown off, earning 20 Pretentiousness Points.”

Yi Qinglian exclaimed. It was the first time she had ever seen fortune-telling like this. ”Doesn’t that mean you know what many people have done?” she asked.

Chu Hao shook his head. ”It’s not that exaggerated. It’s a Divine Arithmetic. I only know the general situation. Some people can’t be divined, like you, for example.”

Yi Qinglian had been thinking of asking Chu Hao to do a reading for her but, hearing what he said, she felt a bit disappointed.

Suddenly, the woman handcuffed by the police had an incredibly fierce expression. She glared at Chu Hao, bellowing, ”Even as a ghost, I won’t let you go!”

With that, she broke free from the police officers and jumped from a high floor of the building, crashing through its glass facade.

Screams erupted from the crowd as the woman’s body splattered on the ground below, a truly gruesome death.

Yi Qinglian’s face turned pale, somewhat nauseated.

Chu Hao walked over, looking at the dead woman. A malevolent energy is slowly coalescing... Is her soul deteriorating?

This is a sign of an emerging Fierce Ghost. This is the first time I’ve witnessed the birth of a Fierce Ghost, Chu Hao thought, taken aback.

He then saw a soul emanating from the woman’s corpse. It gave Chu Hao a vicious glare before flying off towards the street outside.

Chu Hao released Sadako. ”Chase,” he commanded.

However, as soon as the spirit emerged from the building, it vanished into the crowd.

”Damn it!”

Chu Hao was frustrated. Who would’ve thought I’d run into something like this on a date?

Clearly, that Fierce Ghost has targeted me after that look it gave. But would I, Chu Hao, be afraid? Hardly.

Yi Qinglian was terrified, and Chu Hao immediately led her away.

The date had left them both quite dejected; they definitely weren’t in the mood to continue.

Chu Hao pulled out a piece of Warding Jade and handed it to her. ”Wear this. That woman has turned into a Fierce Ghost. Knowing how powerful I am, I’m afraid she might target you instead.”

Yi Qinglian shivered with fear, her voice weak as she said, ”Chu Hao, will anything happen?”

Chu Hao shook his head, saying with bravado, ”No worries. It’s just one Fierce Ghost. I’ve even dealt with a ten-thousand-year-old Drought Fiend before. If she dares to show up, I’ll finish her in minutes.”

Regardless of what he said, Yi Qinglian was still quite frightened.

Continuing the date was out of the question now, as neither of them was in the mood anymore.

Chu Hao cursed inwardly, That green tea bitch! Just wait until I catch you, I’ll make you pay!

It was then he remembered: the Red-clothed Female Ghost he had caught earlier was still in the Ghost Gourd. He decided to deal with her thoroughly tonight.

After sending Yi Qinglian back, Chu Hao was about to leave, but she timidly said, ”Chu Hao, can you... can you not go back? I’m scared.”

Chu Hao was startled, then grinned mischievously. ”Sure.”

Yi Qinglian’s face flushed as she said, ”What are you thinking? I’m just scared. Just stay with me for a while.”

Chu Hao thought for a moment. The Fierce Ghost will probably come tonight. This is a perfect opportunity to eliminate her. Besides, spending the night with a big star... that doesn’t sound too bad either.

Chu Hao nodded. ”Okay.”

Upon hearing that, Yi Qinglian breathed a sigh of relief. A charmingly beautiful smile bloomed on her face as she said, ”Are you hungry? I’ll go cook.”

Chu Hao, surprised, asked, ”You know how to cook?”
