Flash Marriage: He is a Wife-pampering Addict

Chapter 1705: Chapter 1704: Shall We Build a Snowman Together?

The smile in Luo Haofeng’s eyes spread through her voice.

He took a small step forward.

The distance between him and Bai Xiaoxiao was so close that their breaths intertwined.

A slight surprise flashed in Bai Xiaoxiao’s watery eyes.

Due to Luo Haofeng’s approach, her breath was slightly disrupted.

The smile on Luo Haofeng’s lips faded a little, and looking at Bai Xiaoxiao, his gaze deepened. He softly asked, “Xiaoxiao, if it snows heavily tonight and we can build a snowman in the morning, shall we build a snowman together?”

Bai Xiaoxiao’s heart trembled.

Her eyes opened wide in astonishment.

He said he wanted to build a snowman with her.

Why?

Was it because she mentioned in the afternoon that she used to build snowmen with Ranran when it snowed?

“Xiaoxiao, is that okay?”

Seeing her not speaking, Luo Haofeng asked again.

He wasn’t asking for much.

He just wanted to watch the snow and build a snowman with her once.

Actually, he called Xiao Yuting to his company in the morning because the weather forecast predicted snow today.

“Did you change Xiao Yuting’s travel plans for this reason?”

In the dim light, Bai Xiaoxiao looked at the man in front of her with a complex expression.

Hearing her words, his long phoenix eyes flashed, and he frankly admitted, “Yes, tomorrow is my birthday.”

Tomorrow is his birthday.

Bai Xiaoxiao certainly knew that.

But with their relationship, ordinarily, she had no reason to celebrate his birthday.

Xiao Yuting and she were supposed to travel on the day before his birthday. Originally, Xiao Yuting was supposed to handle other matters first before going to the Luo Family.

However, Luo Haofeng made him change his plans.

“What did you promise Xiao Yuting in return?”

She seemed to ignore his mention of his birthday.

Luo Haofeng slightly curved his lips, “Five percent of the profit.”

Bai Xiaoxiao widened her eyes in surprise.

Five percent of the profit?

“If I celebrate your birthday with you, what about Ruoyi?”

“Xiaoxiao, just this once.”

Luo Haofeng’s gaze changed slightly, his gentle voice carrying a hint of pleading.

Such a tone landed in Bai Xiaoxiao’s ears, and her heart suddenly constricted.

A single word, “Okay,” escaped her lips before she could think.

Hearing her own voice startled her.

A hint of bewilderment appeared on her clear and beautiful face.

Luo Haofeng’s handsome face blossomed into a smile in her bewildered eyes, and even his long phoenix eyes lit up.

The next moment, he clasped Bai Xiaoxiao’s shoulders with both hands, his joy unabashedly spreading across his brows, “Xiaoxiao, thank you.”

Bai Xiaoxiao’s thoughts were a bit chaotic.

Her mind felt a bit dizzy.

She didn’t know how she ended up agreeing.

She and Luo Haofeng had long since broken up, and they each had new partners.

However, she couldn’t bear his eyes filled with pleading and anticipation; her heart would race for his words, and her thoughts would become jumbled because of him.

A soft sigh echoed in her heart.

Under Luo Haofeng’s joyful gaze, the bewilderment in Bai Xiaoxiao’s eyes faded, and a faint smile appeared, “I haven’t prepared a birthday gift.”

“Xiaoxiao, you are the best birthday gift.”

With her there, it’s the best birthday gift.

After Luo Haofeng finished speaking, his hands, which were clasped around her shoulders, loosened slightly, and he smiled gently, “Xiaoxiao, why don’t you cook dinner for me as a birthday present?”

“Dinner?”

Bai Xiaoxiao asked a bit uncertainly.

“Come on, let’s go get some groceries.”

After speaking, Luo Haofeng’s large hand slid down from her shoulder, naturally holding her slightly cool hand. Bai Xiaoxiao’s heart trembled at his action.

The small hand held in his palm clearly stiffened.

“Let’s go to the mall.”

Luo Haofeng didn’t give Bai Xiaoxiao a chance to refuse, pulling her down the steps.

Snowflakes mixed with the cold wind hit their cheeks, sharp as knives; Luo Haofeng held her with one hand and shielded her head with the other.

The cold wind hit her face, and Bai Xiaoxiao’s tangled thoughts were slightly cleared.

Struggle flashed in her eyes.

Lowering her eyes, her gaze fell on Luo Haofeng’s hand holding hers.

Her hand was wrapped in his palm, feeling a continuous warmth.

But on the back of his hand, between his long fingers, fell bits of snow.

A certain part of her heart lightly ached again.

Bai Xiaoxiao closed her eyes and opened them again, to find Luo Haofeng had already pulled her to the car.

“Xiaoxiao, get in first.”

Luo Haofeng opened the passenger side door, shielding the top of the door with one hand.

Bai Xiaoxiao bent down and sat inside the car.

A moment later, Luo Haofeng got into the driver’s seat, saw her fastening her seat belt, started the car, turned on the heater, reversed, and drove out of the factory.

Bai Xiaoxiao hesitated for a moment, then reached into her bag and turned off her phone.

Her heartbeat hadn’t fully settled down.

From the moment she agreed to celebrate Luo Haofeng’s birthday, an inexplicable emotion surged within her.

Since she agreed to accompany him for his birthday, she didn’t want to be disturbed.

She told herself, just this once.

Be a little selfish once more.

After celebrating Luo Haofeng’s birthday this time, she really had to forget about him, let herself like Meng Ke, the man her mother was satisfied with.

And Luo Haofeng, he had a new girlfriend. In the future, they’d get married, have children…

A sharp pain hit her heart.

A gentle, low voice interrupted her thoughts.

“Xiaoxiao.”

“The snow seems to be getting heavier.”

Bai Xiaoxiao glanced out the window; indeed, the snowflakes were falling more densely and seemed to be larger.

The forecast had mentioned Little Xue with localized moderate snow.

If this continued, could it turn into heavy snow?

“Xiaoxiao, if it keeps snowing, we can really build a snowman tomorrow morning.”

Luo Haofeng’s eyes were filled with joy; he had already planned to build a snowman for Xiaoxiao.

Looking at his face full of joy, the emotions Bai Xiaoxiao had been ignoring became more intense.

“Possibly, but do you even know how to build a snowman?”

“You’ll know by tomorrow morning.”

Luo Haofeng raised an eyebrow, his tone joyful and mysterious.

Being infected by him, Bai Xiaoxiao couldn’t help but raise her eyebrows, her pretty face lit up by her smile, “Then I’ll wait until tomorrow morning to see what kind of snowman you can build.”

To Bai Xiaoxiao’s surprise, no one had called Luo Haofeng.

Her phone was turned off, so logically, if Xiao Yuting couldn’t find them, he should have called Luo Haofeng.

Luo Haofeng drove quite a distance, taking her to a mall where they bought groceries, resembling a sweet couple.

“Isn’t it your birthday? Why are you buying everything I like to eat?”

Looking at what Luo Haofeng put in the shopping cart, Bai Xiaoxiao couldn’t help but protest.

Luo Haofeng glanced at her and smiled, taking the shrimp weighed by the clerk and placing it in the cart, “Xiaoxiao, these are my favorites too.”

“…”

Bai Xiaoxiao widened her eyes, watching him.

Only then did she realize she didn’t really know what he liked to eat.

Yet he remembered her preferences so clearly.

“Come on, let’s go get some vegetables over there.”

Luo Haofeng didn’t give her time to daze off, pointed to the left, and pushed the cart forward.
