Chapter 3027: Chapter 3028: Never Planned to Marry

Bai Ruozhu and Gao Zhou were invited to have Astrologer examined and saw Astrologer with a frosty demeanor.

”You don’t recognize Ao Song?” Bai Ruozhu was somewhat surprised, ”Then do you remember us?”

Astrologer nodded, ”You are my brother’s junior sister.”

His tone was indifferent, even though he was not a very enthusiastic person before, this attitude was clearly different from before.

”Then do you remember why we are here?” Bai Ruozhu asked again.

Astrologer furrowed his eyebrows, ”I don’t remember, I only remember coming with my brother to rescue you, then my brother went home, and I stayed to help you.”

This is selective amnesia, probably because his body was too severely backlashed.

Bai Ruozhu felt regretful, but such amnesia is not impossible to remember the past, it’s just that amnesia is too melodramatic, isn’t it?

She looked at the group in the room who were nervously watching, then took Astrologer’s pulse to check, his body was basically fine, and the previously injured meridians were surprisingly slowly recovering, Taisui meat is truly miraculous.

However, the human brain is such a mysterious place, it cannot be understood just by taking a pulse, she was powerless regarding Astrologer’s amnesia.

She thought there might be things Ao Song found difficult to say, so she told the others, ”I’ll chat with Ao Song and Astrologer, why don’t you all leave first.”

”Alright, alright.” Zhong lady had rushed over upon hearing the news, but at the moment her heart was in turmoil.

Her son-in-law had woken up, her daughter wouldn’t be widowed, marrying him wasn’t in vain. But he doesn’t remember her daughter, what if he doesn’t acknowledge the marriage? Or mistreats her daughter?

Zhong Kui was even more distressed; he had raised his daughter with such hard work only to give her to someone else, and now she is a stranger in this kid’s eyes.

If it weren’t for him saving his daughter, he, as a father-in-law, would’ve given him a good beating.

Everyone dispersed, Ao Song looked nervously at Bai Ruozhu, thinking Bai Ruozhu had something inconvenient to say in public.

”Astrologer, you don’t remember some things, but I’m your brother’s junior sister, you should trust me, right?” Bai Ruozhu asked.

Astrologer hesitated a bit, but still nodded.

”When we were in the Capital City, you and Ao Song caught monsters together and slowly developed feelings. Not long ago Ao Song’s family encountered some issues, she nearly lost her life due to backlash, and at the critical moment, you transferred the backlash to yourself.”

It shows how much you cared for her.

Bai Ruozhu saw his face chilled, so she swallowed the words back.

”Later, we took you to Ao Song’s home to save you, and you got married, becoming part of the Zhong Family. Then the Zhong Family used a secret technique to save you, but you don’t remember these things, perhaps you will gradually recall them.” She continued.

However, Astrologer furrowed his brows, ”Since I transferred the backlash, I should be unconscious, right? Then how did I marry her?”

This tone was questioning, just short of saying you are lying, I clearly didn’t marry her.

The atmosphere became tense for a moment, Ao Song’s eyes slightly reddened, but she quickly suppressed her emotions and spoke, ”You were injured to save me, of course I had to try my best to save you, marrying was the only way. It doesn’t matter if you don’t remember me, we can get to know each other again, start afresh.”

”Oh.” Astrologer’s tone was indifferent, but his expression showed disagreement, ”I never thought of getting married, it would affect my Yin Yang Techniques, once emotions are involved, the techniques become unstable.”
