Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

There were no gunshots. Hearing that, Xia Jinyuan frowned. He raised his binoculars and looked again. His vision was blocked, so he couldn’t see anything.

The situation in the village was unknown. The government forces had never sent soldiers to check on the problem, but they hoped that the peacekeeping forces would send soldiers into the village. Xia Jinyuan lowered his binoculars and said in a low voice, ”Return the way we came.”

”That village…”

Before the lieutenant could finish speaking, Xia Jinyuan interrupted him with a cold facial expression. ”Even the government forces don’t care about it. Do we have the right to care?”

That was true!

The lieutenant immediately understood what Xia Jinyuan meant. Sometimes, one needed to be vigilant when negotiating with the government forces. If the government forces didn’t do anything, the peacekeeping forces couldn’t do anything either.

Once the peacekeeping forces appeared, it would cause a fight. It wouldn’t be as simple as a fight between the militants and the government.

It was impossible for the government forces not to know the consequences of the peacekeeping forces taking the initiative to send troops in. They knew that but they still wanted the peacekeeping forces to enter the village to take a look. Xia Jinyuan didn’t believe that there was something bigger going on in the village.

”Get in, get in. Go back the way we came. Hurry! Hurry! Hurry!”

The lieutenant’s voice came from the intercom. Ye Jian immediately arranged for all the female soldiers to get into the truck. This time, she didn’t sit in the Jeep. Instead, she sat in the truck with the female soldiers.

In the village, a black man in a miscellaneous military uniform retracted his gaze and quickly came down from the tall tree.

”Those idiots. They didn’t lure the peacekeeping forces into the village!” The man ran into an old wooden house and said to the black men who were eating with their hands. ”We should have intercepted them. We can’t let them discover that this place has been occupied by us.”

The wooden house was filled with men in military uniforms. They were all rebels. Rebels could be seen throughout the village at any time.

”The bastards from the peacekeeping forces won’t fall for it easily. They’re very cunning. Do you expect those idiots to let them enter our territory with just one sentence? No, that’s impossible.”

One of the rebels, who was chewing meat, casually wiped the oil off his fingers. He stood up and didn’t forget to pick up the rifle beside him. ”We need vehicles, and they have vehicles. Let’s go, guys. Kill them and snatch the vehicles we need. In the future, no matter which country it is, they can forget about going over.”

After he finished speaking, the other three black men who were eating grinned.

”That’s a great idea!”

”They have five trucks and a Jeep. We need to snatch them all.”

”Then what are we waiting for? Hurry up, guys!”

”Let’s move, guys.”

The five of them walked out together. The rebel who reported the situation raised his gun and fired several shots into the sky. Gunshots sounded. Countless rebels rushed out from all corners of the village. At the same time, they made excited exclamations.

These people were all rebels. A few days ago, with the help of the rebellious government forces, they entered the village and occupied it.

As for the Walla residents, although they had their own armed forces, because they were not on guard against the government forces that had always been cooperating with them, all their armed forces were killed by the rebels. The elderly, children, and women in the village had no power to resist.

The gunshots frightened the women and children in the village. The women hugged their children and hid in a corner. They didn’t dare to move. Their eyes were filled with fear.
