Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Xia Jinyuan, who was still in Libya, had just returned from patrol ten minutes ago. He was drenched in sweat. The moment he entered the camp, he was called to the tent by the colonel in charge of the work arrangements of the Chinese peacekeeping camp. Before the colonel could start speaking, a call came from the country, and a communication soldier entered to report.

It wasn’t a secret that the country sent peacekeeping soldiers to Libya. Xia Jinyuan listened at the side and knew that 50 peacekeeping soldiers would come to Libya this time. Among them, 40 were male soldiers and 10 were female soldiers.

This was the first time China had sent female soldiers for peacekeeping. In the past, they were all male soldiers. Even if there were female soldiers accompanying them, they were mostly doctors and nurses.

The female soldiers were led by Ye Jian. When Xia Jinyuan heard the name ’Ye Jian’, he was stunned for a while. After the soldier left, he asked the colonel.

The colonel smiled and asked, ”Yes, I’ve confirmed it. She’ll bring the female soldiers into the camp the day after tomorrow. Do you know her? Your girlfriend?”

The last sentence was an unintentional joke. The lieutenant colonel was quite interesting. A doctor in the camp wanted to act as a matchmaker and introduce him to a nurse from the medical team. As a result, the lieutenant colonel started avoiding the doctor and the nurse from then on.

The nurse’s self-esteem was hurt a little. She cried secretly a few times. The nurse only felt better when the lieutenant colonel told the doctor who wanted to be a matchmaker that he had a girlfriend.

Xia Jinyuan’s eyes were filled with smiles. He admitted readily, ”That’s right, she’s my girlfriend. I haven’t contacted her for almost a year. It’s a huge surprise that she suddenly came over.”

The colonel was shocked. ”She’s really your girlfriend! What a coincidence.”

”Yes, it’s indeed a coincidence.” Xia Jinyuan wanted to maintain his reserved smile, but the surprise was too huge. The joy in his heart was uncontrollable. He couldn’t stop laughing.

He was on cloud nine. It was unreal.

The lieutenant colonel couldn’t help but smile when he saw this. ”It’s been a year since you last contacted each other. Why don’t you pick her up the day after tomorrow?”

He paused for a moment before asking, ”Does she know that you’re here?”

After thinking for a while, Xia Jinyuan shook his head. ”I’m not sure.”

He and his comrades didn’t receive the peacekeeping mission in advance. They were informed that night and joined the peacekeeping force that left the team the next day. He didn’t even have time to inform Ye Jian.

Hence, he was sure that his little fox didn’t know that he was in Libya too.

”That’s good! I’ll arrange for you to pick her up the day after tomorrow. You can give your girlfriend a surprise. How about that? Do you accept the arrangement?”

He was very happy with the arrangements!

Xia Jinyuan tucked his blue helmet into his arm and saluted the colonel who was reasonable and took care of the soldiers’ well-being. ”I resolutely obey the arrangements and will complete the mission!”

At this moment, he really hoped that the day after tomorrow would arrive quickly. He hoped that he would be able to see his girlfriend, whom he had not seen for nine months and only occasionally contacted on the phone.

The colonel had given him a huge surprise. As for him, he wanted to give the little fox a huge surprise too.

Lieutenant Colonel Xia strode out of the tent. After taking a few steps, the smile on his handsome face disappeared a little. There was a hint of darkness in his eyes, but he quickly suppressed it. His thin lips curled up again.

His thin lips kept curling up. Fortunately, there was a blue helmet covering his head. Coupled with his sharp footsteps, no one paid much attention to him. At least, the peacekeeping soldiers wouldn’t pay special attention to him.

However, it was different for the comrades of the Xueyu unit.
