Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Li Jun was not the only grandson of the Li family. However, in the eyes of Second Old Madam Li and Madam Li, other than Li Jun, there was no one else.

Second Old Madam Li spent half her life controlling the entire Li family and making the first wife’s children hated by Old Master Li. How could she allow her child to lose to the child left behind by the first wife?

”Go and see the old master. The doctor said that he woke up once last night. He might wake up today too. Go and take a look. Don’t let the people outside take advantage of you.” Second Old Madam Li was at ease leaving this matter to her daughter. Thinking of Old Master Li, who was still lying in the ICU, Second Old Madam Li still felt lingering fear when she thought about what happened two days ago.

”You just take a rest. I’ll go over as soon as Dad wakes up.” Madam Li, who knew what was going on, didn’t need Second Old Madam Li to remind her. She was also on guard against the ”people outside”.

Li Jinnian’s biological father, Li Ronghuan, and Li Jinnian were all ’outsiders’ as mentioned by Second Old Madam Li.

The Li family had been very chaotic for the past half a year. First, their subordinates, who relied on Old Master Li to climb up the ranks, fell one after another. Then, there were problems with the collateral relatives. At first, Old Master Li did not take it to heart.

The Li family was like a huge tree. The tree was huge and had many leaves. If anything went wrong, it wouldn’t affect the main trunk. However, Old Master Li’s body wasn’t as strong as before. Old Master Li was afraid that he would die. Hence, he didn’t handle everything like before. If there was a small problem, he would deal with it. He would hand over the more serious matters to Li Ronghuan or the direct descendants.

Unexpectedly, in just half a year, more and more things happened. Two days ago, two of his subordinates, who were promoted by him, met with problems and were invited to tea by the Military Disciplinary Committee. Until now, there was still no news of them.

There were too many problems with the Li family. As Old Master Li moved farther and farther away from the center of power, the things that he covered up in the past were dug out bit by bit.

What would come would come.

After knowing that something had happened to his direct descendant, Old Master Li’s first call was to Li Ronghuan. Li Ronghuan was on his way to the airport. At the same time, he told Old Master Li another piece of bad news. Li Chuhai’s son, Second Old Madam Li’s beloved, Li Jun, had fought with local hooligans and hit his head. He was currently in the hospital. When Li Ronghuan received the news, he went to Hai Province immediately.

Hai Province was Old Master Li’s strongest territory. He sent Li Jun to Hai Province because it was his old territory. If Li Jun went there, he would be the crown prince. No one would dare to provoke him.

They didn’t expect those local hooligans to make a move. They didn’t know that Li Jun was from the capital city. They didn’t like him and argued with him. These local hooligans, who were also domineering in Hai Province, started fighting with Li Jun.

Li Jun had three bodyguards beside him, but there were too many of them. One of the hooligans picked up a beer bottle and smashed it at Li Jun’s head. Li Jun bled from the back of his head and fainted.

This time, things got out of hand. The people protecting Li Jun in Hai Province didn’t dare to contact Old Master Li. They only dared to contact Li Ronghuan, who had sent Li Jun to Hai Province.

Li Ronghuan, who was rushing to the airport empty-handed and only had his identification document, ’anxiously’ told Old Master Li about Li Jun’s injury. His tone was a little exaggerated, and he said that Li Jun almost died on the spot.
