Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Ye Jian was kidnapped and successfully rescued. It could be said that this was the best retaliation for the 30 special forces soldiers against the veterans. Ye Jian finally understood why the veterans walked silently in the desert that was filled with coarse sand and gravel. When the red team stepped on it, no matter how light their footsteps were, there would be rustling sounds.

It was a very simple solution. Every time they launched a sneak attack, they would use sterile gauze to cushion their feet. Then, they would wrap their backpacks around their feet. Everywhere they passed, they would be silent like a cat.

The veterans wouldn’t tell the red team about these outdoor survival skills in advance. Even Ye Jian didn’t know about it. The red team needed to enter the desert to train and find out about it themselves.

This training was the largest and longest outdoor training for the red team. The shooting of live ammunition and blank cartridges made the red team’s special forces soldiers walk on the line of death almost every day.

The veterans who disguised themselves as fugitives really acted like fierce, cold, and fleeing criminals. They were criminals who attacked to escape, and others could never imagine how crazy they would be. The special forces soldiers of the red team were tense every day and did not dare to relax for a moment.

Everyone participated in this training that had a mortality rate. Along the way, all kinds of injuries appeared one after another. A month later, both sides were injured. The most serious ones had their calves cut by sharp gravel. It was so deep that their bones could be seen.

Even so, as long as they could stand up, they had to continue training.

Ye Jian had also suffered a heavy blow to her back. When she jumped down, she staggered and fell onto a rock. She hit her chest on the spot. Her organs seemed to have shifted. There was a taste of blood in her throat. She stood on the spot for at least five minutes before she dared to move her body slowly.

She was afraid of hurting her spine.

It wasn’t like the members of the Xueyu unit had never hurt their spine during training. It was extremely harsh and brutal training. It was a training that didn’t have any humanity. Getting injured was a common occurrence.

As the captain, Xia Jinyuan treated everyone equally during training. Ye Jian was his soldier. He would treat Ye Jian the way he treated the male soldiers. He also told the veterans to treat Ye Jian the same way.

The veterans didn’t give Ye Jian any special treatment. She was a soldier. As for her being the girlfriend of the captain… that was her personal life.

The 43 days of training ended. Everyone’s training clothes were worn down, and there was an indescribable smell. The desert lacked water. Bathing… was a luxury.

When the Army Aviation sent a helicopter to pick them up, the two captains were shocked. The training of the Army Aviation was harsh enough. However, this team of comrades looked even more like refugees than refugees. There definitely was a big gap between them.

”We can’t say that our regiment is the toughest in the future.”

Looking at the ’refugees’ walking over, the co-pilot expressed his shock to the captain in a low voice.

As the sun set in the west, the red sun’s rays fell on the horizon at the end of the desert. A group of ’refugees’ walked through the desolate mountains. They carried heavy rifles and lined up neatly to board the helicopter that would bring them away from the depths of the desert. Although their clothes were ragged, they were like sharp swords that had been polished to the point of breaking.

After returning from the desert, 46 people got off the aircraft. Six people were left behind to watch over the equipment. The other 40 people rushed into the bathroom and only came out after using half a bar of soap.

When he got off the plane, Xia Jinyuan pulled Ye Jian to the side and took off her helmet. He stared at her face carefully. Ye Jian was puzzled by his stare. ”What are you looking at?”
